Gil petted Enkidu as he growled louder extending his claws and fangs in preparation for battle "Careful now, he's a proud animal and a worthy battle companion doesn't like such comments" he said giving Enkidu a treat as he calmed down but kept his eyes focused on Takeo "Still it's a pleasure to meet you Takeo" he said ignoring the hands comment before extending a hand to shake.
Oassu shook his head "More like I don't want Elithana getting any ideas like that I ain't going to swindle anything but sure I have enough to get by" he said "Not like I'm going to need to spend much here anyway since accommodation and food will more or less be taken care of by the palace." he said
Zadina gasped surprised by Hebal's hug but returned it happily "Yeah the city is weird since it's built on all these different levels but sorry they don't have big scary dragon heads" he giggled "We'll show you the pictures when we got back, we even got pictures with judges and stuff in them" he said proudly.

Hebl giggled shaking her head "They have people heads with drgon horns and wings and tails. They bsically have all the best bits you would want if you were part dragon. the judges wear really awesome armour that costs millions to make. It would be nice if one day one of them would give me the opportunity to make them a suit of armour like those"
Amane giggled pickinng up Merric and placing him in Zadina's arms seeing that he was struggling to get through the thicker snow away from the village "Well it must be awesome if you wanna make some armour just like it cause your really picky about what you make. Wonder how they manage to build lots of stuff there without it falling to the ground, they must hve good magic" she wondered bouncing excitedly as she spotted the airship through the trees"

Takeo paused waiting for Enkidu to calm down properly before extending his own hand for the shake "Nice to meet you in person finally. All I have heard was from what everyone else had been telling me about you. What you up to now, fancy a drink or two later to catch up on things?" he asked guessing he was interrupting something else in their routine.
Satoshi nodded "Sure we could do, I'm just seeing the parents for now but it won't take all night. So could meet all you guys later at the usual place. Gil's home for the festival so also going to show him a few sights around the village first" she explained.
Hayate laughed "Yep you get looked after in Yithra for sure though if ever short on money you can always go to a certain magic pot, theres enough alchemists in this city to provide you with the elixirs you need for a few favours"
Felina smiled watching the streets out the window and the people moving out the way "Well we want you to feel comfortable and happy in Yithra, you're going to have a pretty comfortable lifestyle when ready to eventually settle down"

Gil nodded "Sure it'd be a pleasure to see you later on" he said "Though I shouldn't imagine many folks would be talking about me here this place seems more peaceful than others" he said
Oassu nodded "I guess so though I don't imagine we'd end up staying in Yithra once we settle down" he said relaxing "Still I'm sure I'll be fine we'll earn more money once on the road again" he said.
Zadina nodded snuggling Merric warm "Well yeah though I think they do a lot of work with moogles which is how they stay up in the air all the time" he said giggling as he noticed Amane bouncing "We're almost out the forest now I think you'll really like the airship it's mega colourful" he said

Hebal nodded bouncing along in sync with Amane "Uhuh it used to be a sort of ugly grey colour but then it got painted to an awesome red colour with lightning bolts on the side. See the lovely red coming up? " she sung pointing it out "And when I get in I'll make all of you nice hot chocolate to warm up with. After takeoff since otherwise it will slosh everywhere" she decided.
Alpha smiled but shook his head "Not for me thanks I'm not a fan of the stuff but thanks a bunch for the offer. The moogles have all kinds of machines that can keep cities up like Kunec but how much of it is magic and how much is down to machinery is unknown. The gria like to be secretive as to how they keep thier places floating"
Amane rubbed her hands together with joy "ooh hot chocolate I love those drinks thanks mum" she cheered giving Hebal a high five mid bounce "Mean of them to be secretive but it's their loss not being willing to share stuff with. people. But how about we take pleanty festival pictures so everyone at home can see what we got up to plus all your holidaying companions"

Takeo shrugged "It's quiet now because everyone is here to celebrate. But when theres a drama, everyone in the village knows all about it. Right I'll let you two get on with the whole awkward meeting the parents thing and see you guys later. I'll get the others there no problem" he added before disappearing in the same manner to which he entered.
Satoshi sighed stopping to pet Enkidu "Anyway thts Takeo and Hitomi you have met now and yeah overall manners aren't exactly his strong point. He also usually has someone chasing him up for something he's done" she laughed continuing forward. "Theres only one place really to get drinks in this place and thats the bar. Coincidentally it'd known as the Drunken Dragon"
Felina nodded laughing at one person staring a little too hard at the carriage "We can go live anywhere we fancy when we settle down so long as its somewhere nice nd safe for it we were to start a family. As for the road, I hope we can earn some good money or find some lost treasure or something. Adventuring can be a bit hit and miss reward wise nowerdays it seems"

Gil nodded "So I take it I'll meet the other members of your team later on?" he said "Also wouldn't only one pub in town always be really crowded and stuff? This place is reasonably big after all" he said taking Satoshi's hand as they moved forward again.
Oassu nodded "We're drawing a bit of attention here is it that unusual to have travellers arrive by carriage? I'd think it'd be the most common way to get here" he said "Though I think I'd still like my own little tropical island to relax on" he chuckled.
Zadina nodded "That sounds like a great plan Amane but I doubt a lot of it is magic the Gria aren't great with magic anyway but they are apparently really really strong" he said happily approaching the edges of the trees.

Hebal gasped almost tripping up on a familiar patch filled with tree roots and snow "Yep yep the gria are small but apparently dead tough and really fast flyers. Like theres apparently one job where gria fly around below Kunec all day and night long and then catch anyone who happens to somehow fall off, must be a pretty stressful job"
Amane frowned grabbing onto Hebal stopping her from falling if need be "that place sounds really quite scary in a way then if theres a risk that you can fall out of the sky, bet it would really really hurt our ears even if someone did catch us. So does that mean gria are the opposite of elves? My teacher at school told me you were all only good at magic and occasionally bows."

Satoshi nodded "Yep from the sound of it Takeo is bringing everyone around. But you know Hitomi already and Ranmaru is really nice, he's the one with the better manners who wanted your autograph. Though it is a very big pub with several floors so we'll be ok for space and since Takeo is in there so often he probably has a table always on reserve"
Hayate paused "Well if not many carriages are moving right now... it's probably because the carriage looks pretty fancy with all the big fancy horses at the front and then theres the fact it's pretty fortified for a carriage would make people think someone important was inside" he guessed.
Felina shrugged resisting the urge to pull the curtain back so nobody could see inside and instead just repositioned herself "Just relax, they'll lose interest in a few minutes most likely so long as we don't give them a reason to think it's carrying royalty inside"

Gil nodded "I'm sure it'll be a pleasure to see Hitomi again and meet Ranmaru but I still think it'll be crowded seeing as it's the holiday season and all" he said stretching as he followed Satoshi "That's if your parents don't want us staying around too long" he added.
Oassu nodded "Well they can probably see you through the window though the fact one of the leading generals is leading it would be pretty suspicious anyway" he said "Though don't they know we're coming back anyway?" he asked "I'd imagine news like that woulda broke out by now" he said.
Zadina nodded as he hopped out of the trees with Merric in his arms "Well here we are!" he said gesturing to the ship for Amane "Though we aren't that bad we can use swords fine though we are good with magic and bows" he said happily spinning around with Merric.
Jeckhart shook his head "The Saviour Squadron of Kunec are very competent at their job, to my understanding they haven't lost anyone to gravity in years so Kunec is still a safe place though I'm afraid I don't think they keep a summoner's temple on Kunec but I'm not too sure" he said imagining it would be awkward for pilgrims if the destination was constantly moving.

Hebal cheered pushing Alpha forward getting him to hurry up and let them out the cold "Elves are good with all weapons just like us if they put all that effort into training. I've seen a whole bunch of elves fighting in battle to save their homes and pleanty of them used swords and shields and spears. Your teacher is just ignorent and silly" she defended the elves.
Amane frowned petting the settled Merric's head "Aww well I'll remember that for next time I see her then sorry. And I guess we'll just have to visit Kunec sometime after the pilgrimage in that case and by then we could always fly up their with one of the summons" she mumbled cautiously approaching the steps, watching Alpha as he pulled his keys out "The airship is mega big, and shiny for sure. And fortunately Merric is looking super comfortable there in your arms" she pointed out to Zadina.

Satoshi shook her head "Well thats why we tell them we have places to go and its not like we're here for one day only so theres no rush to get it all done now" she shrugged directing him into a slightly wider ally. Mum will probably want to cook us dinner, she's always like that whenever I bring anyone new home be it a friend or someone else"
Felina paused watching more people move out their way "I don't think anyone got told other than my family unless someone in the palace leaked out the information or the mognet moogle but the latter are a very honest bunch. And our driver is only second in command so isn't known as well as others"
Hayate shook his head in disagreement "Trust me, you would be surprised how many people like to know who is leading their armies and keeping their city safe and from an outsiders point of view this probably looks like a really important escourt" he explained pointing to the curtains above the window "Can always cover up if you don't quite like the attention, though if people do know about it, well you know just as well as I do that Corella loves to gossip"

Gil nodded "I'm sure her cooking will be nice have you had many boyfriends she's cooked for before?" he asked frowning at the smell of the alleyway "Though for the record, were you trying to avoid Takeo by going through these alleys? Or is it just the fastest way?" he asked.
Oassu nodded "I think I'd agree with Hayate here, but it shouldn't matter, unless there's some major anti-me sentiment out there in which case warn me of assassins" he sighed putting his hands behind his head to relax "I won't mind a little bit of fame anyway could be useful" he said.
Zadina giggled "That's because the snow is all cold on his toes because he doesn't have shoes on" he said happily "Though you can make any sidetrips you want on the pilgrimage didn't you say?" he asked

Hebal yawned happily bouncing in after Alpha "Pilgrimages can have small detours from time to time to do stuff you enjoy rather than just all serious temple visits all day everyday for years. Now come on inside everyone so we can warm up and I can make you all some nice drinks, I'm better at making them than food" she encouraged.
Aane smiled cautiously shifting up the stairs after the other two "Do chocobos even get really cold feet, or just blue ones since they should be used to swimming through cold rivers by now" she pondered traking a peek inside the airship "Oooh well this looks... cosier than expected, didn't think there would be fabric couches and stuff when I imagined it"

Satoshi laughed shuffling closer to Gil "It was actually a bit of both for it will get us there faster and Takeo. He is a nice guy but when it comes to anything to do with romance he's a bit... silly and somewhat of a player too which is why he was the one person I was trying to put off a little longer" she admitted.
Hayate paused deciding to shut the blinds on his side of the carriage "Theres good and bad points to fame, could probably get you out of a few tight spots somewhere down the line but no an assassin couldn't get you in here, unless they took out the fireworks but theres several layers of solid steel between the boot and whatever they were to try and throw at it"
Felina laughed "Your not that unpopular with elves, very few of them hate humans, it's just that any form of relationship with other races is seen as a bad idea due to our long lives. And like I said people like the sort of fairytale rags to riches story like this one involving the little commoner Oassu whos gonna be a prince" she teased.
