If I was an oily Greek warrior with a magic flying elephant, where would I be?
...
I can't believe anyone could actually say that.
*Chris headed down to the most logical place he could think of to find Achilles: the stables. But not only was there no Achilles, there was no Mysia either. Being a city boy, he could literally not track an elephant anywhere. Instead, Chris armored up and took to the skies to scan the campus. As long as he didn't fly too high, he wouldn't be violating Prince's request.
Ah! They were at the lake. Chris flew on down and landed next to Achilles. The Greek warrior was slouching. He looked sad...and a lock of hair covered on of his eyes. Great googly moogly! This wasn't Achilles as Chris knew him. It was Emochilles! He was going to have his work cut out for him.*
Hey, guy. What's up?

Theo Altman Teddy tried to think of anything that could appeal to Chris. He thought of all the things that he liked, and it was mostly different kinds of food. He also liked sports.
But then again, that didn't mean that Chris liked those things as much as he did.
"Hm..."
Wait a minute. Chris did love something more than anything else in the world.
"Pannies?" Billy puckered his lips, nodded and shook a finger.
"Oo! Good thinking Teddy Bear. Pannies! Chris is always going on and on about them. But where do we go to get them?"
Billy sinks his hands into his pockets and shrugs his shoulders.
"Well, I've never set foot into Victoria's Secret at the mall..."
He turned around and nudged Teddy in the shoulder playfully, walking out into the hall.
"I guess there's a first time for everything, huh?"

Achilles heard the voice speak out toward him from above, but he barely needed to glance upward to know who it was descending from the skies. He knew the voice of this brother-at-arms all too well.
"Hello, Christopher." He said, tossing another stone and caused it to skip the entire length of the lake before it struck a rock on the opposite shore. "Nothing much is 'up'. Mysia needed a bath, and the Headmistress asked I not use the school pool ... again."
Their eyes fell upon the giant elephant in the lake, lowering her two trunks into the water and sending a colossal spray up over her own body. Achilles squinted and leaned away from the large spray of mist that coated the shore, and the ghost of a smile crossed his lips momentarily.
"I don't know how well she will respond to leaving this time. I believe she prefers it here."

*Huh...how about that? Chris thought he was going to have broach the subject of staying here in this time and being sad to go and all of that. He also thought Achilles would try to ignore Chris's efforts to discuss it. In fact, Chris had been all ready to kick Achilles right in the bojangles to force a confrontation. He would have too...RIGHT IN THE BOJANGLES.
...
Why the hell did Cassie ever date him again?*
And how about you? Looking forward to leaving this time?

Cassandra Sandsmark Cassie sighed as she looked over at Dani."I don't know... I just don't know what to get him. I mean Chris always does such great things for me and I'm clueless as to what to get him"Cassie looked a little sad..." Plus.. I wanna get a going away present for Achilles." She looked at a few things but nothing caught her eye... Maybe something baseball oriented? "Chris is easy to get things for. He'll love anything you get him!" They ventured over to the video game section. "He likes video games, and food. but most of all he likes you. So why not get him all three? A video game? or Accessory? Maybe a gift card to a restaurant and best all of all a date with you. I mean, who wouldn't want a date with you for their birthday?" She fell into the nearest bean bag chair, and lounged for a moment. "This is comfy... He'd love this!" She looked down the the price tag. "Oh it's on sale! Wanna get it for him? We could split the price and say it' form the both of us. He'd love it, a comfy chair to sit in while playing games." She popped back up, straightening her pants again, then pondered. "Achilles is harder to shop for since he's not really form this time.. Why may have to go to an antique store to get him something... Because I'm clueless on what to get him."

Teddy had been inside a Victoria's secret, when he was small. He would trail in behind his mother, confused by all of the vibrant colors and the bras. He didn't quite get what they were for, or how they'd work.
He supposed he understood it now, but that didn't mean it mattered to him in the least.
He followed after Billy, tempted to take his hand but refraining. He didn't quite know how to work with this new Billy. He was certainly less forward (whew), and he wasn't nearly as dramatic (double whew). So, instead, he just walked close to him and enjoyed this closeness.
"We could do lunch too, if you wanted I mean."

Billy glanced back over his shoulder and smiled at Teddy as thy approached Victoria's Secret.
"Oh that's a definite! You can't pay a visit to the mall without stopping by to say hello to our good friend, Panda Express! AmIright?"
He gave Teddy a wink and no sooner did they set foot inside of the sultry lingerie store than did a bubbly young clerk bounce (literally!) over to them.
She said, "Hi! Can I help you?"
Billy answered "Oh sure! We're looking for pannies. ... I mean for a friend."
The clerk took a brief pause for thought then smiled brightly and nodded.
"Oh okay! I understand. Please don't be shy. We cater to young men like you quite often."
She turned to Teddy with a bright and wide smile. gesturing towards Billy.
"Now what size would you like to see your boyfriend in?"
Billy yelped "What!?"

Chris Powell And how about you? Looking forward to leaving this time? "To borrow a phrase from this time, that is something of a double edged sword, Christopher." Slowly Achilles lowered himself down to take a seat along the edge of the lake to watch Mysia play in the water and bathe herself. His eyes remained on his dear friend but his words were solely for Chris. "I can not deny that I long to be with Patroclus again, but that I am certain you were already aware. Not a day goes by that I do not make a bleating reference toward my soulmate." He took a deep breathe and exhaled, a frown creasing his young brow. "But what else is there for me to return to? War? Bloodshed? Christopher, we have fought together in many battles, you and I, but none of what we have faced compares to the desecration that is the Trojan War. If what I am told is true, thousands die, many by my own hand at all because of the death of my now husband. And that death is because of my failure to protect the one I love most." He looked up at Chris. "Ten years. That is what I understand is how long I am destined to battle on those blood stained beaches before I meet my own end at the hands of a coward prince." He shook his head. "I admit battle and war is my destiny. I imagine my mother will erase a few memories I obtained as to what my ultimate fate is to be once I leave. But here? Here I have a sister I never had, one that I love. An I also have friends that I never really had the luxury of before. Oh the Myrmidons follow my every command and look at me as if I were some lord, but friends?" He shook his head. "None. Save for Patroclus. So to answer your question..." He looked up at him again. "No. I am not."

*Getting all of this out of Achilles was going much easier than expected. He didn't have to kick or insult Achilles'es manhood at all! Maybe he should be psychiatrist. And Cassie could be his secretary...and she could sit on his lap and take notes....
...
Gah...pay attention to Achilles!*
Well, from I've read and seen on Dr. Who....you have to go back. The Trojan War is a fixed point in time and part of the war is you taking part and dying there. If we try to pull you out of it or try anything weird then we could collapse reality or something.
But...who says that your ultimate destiny has to be death during an ancient war? I believe we make our own fate and I don't think the end of your story has to be the Trojan War. Maybe your story...and Pat's...could resume in our time.
I have an idea. Cassie shot it down immediately but I think you should at least hear it out. I think it's possible to bring you and Pat back to school next year by pulling you out of the Ellison Fields.
...
Elizabethan Fields? Electrocaridgram Fields? You know...Greek warrior heaven.

Cassie looked at Dani, she had good suggestions and Cassie was glad she bought him along.
"Hmm... the chair would be nice. I can't think of a video game he wants but maybe a gift certificate for dinner and dancing. You know he hasn't taken me out dancing once."
Cassie sighed, it kinda made her sad because she loved dancing. Mind you she wasn't nearly as good of a dancer as Dani but she still enjoyed it.
" Actually I think I know what we could do for Achilles. How about a photo collage? We can use pictures of everyone that we've taken thoughout the school year and have everyone sign the back"

"Yeah, reamember that club we went dancing at last summer... or was it two summers ago...? You had some pretty great moves! Y'know. I bet you could teach Chris how to dance. Then he wouldn't be so shy to take you." Dani beamed happily! Thank god Cass said yes on the splitting of the chair! It was kinda expensive! Even with the sale. Best part! Chris would love it! "Photos of all of us? I think he'd love something like that... I know someone who could take the pictures too. Linda Lang? You know the clumsy, artistic girl who's trying to be a cheerleader and doing a really bad job of it. She's pretty good with photos. We can ask her."

"What!? Overdrawn?! What does that even mean?!?" Karen screeched loudly at the bank teller, who looked more and more irritated since he'd explained the definition to the young teen... three times.
"Ma'am, If you'd just step to the side We would be happy to have someone talk to y--"
*BANG!*
A shotgun went off, with debris falling form the ceiling, civilians instantaneously panicking and running to the doors, only to find the doors where blocked off by several masked men all with guns!
"Alright! No body Move! Down on the ground NOW!" One of the men in ski masks said, pumping his shot gun once again, pointing it at the scared people on the ground.
"HA! Bank Robbers? Seriously?" Karen laughed rolling up her sleeves, "Too easy!"
Taking a full run she charged at the group of thieves who then opened fire on her shocked to see no harm come, when the bullets bounced off her chest!
"HA! Stop that, it tickles!" She laughed right before pulling back her fist and colliding it with one of the robbers! Within seconds all of the thieves were out cold piled up on top of each other and their weapons were rolling nicely into a massive ball.
"It's alright Bank of Midvile! I've save you!" She said triumphantly, puffing her cheast a little she strolled over to the Bank Teller, "Hey guy. I just save your life! You owe me now. And I don't mean gratitude either. Ya got It?"
"Just what the HELL is going on here?!" A woman Karen didn't recognize flew in threw the doors asking questing and demanding of Karen.
Clearly she thought she was some kinda superhero or something for whatever reason she looked mad.
"Sorry to spoil you're big entrance, hero lady, but I already caught the bad buys for you." She thumbed over to the pile of bodies to the side. "I saved the day and now I'm about to get paid for it. Aint that right guy?"
The taller blond looked down at Karen with great disappointment and disapproval.
"You must be joking. Please tell me you didn't just say that." She glared at Karen.
"Look Malibu Barbie, take you nicely packaged baddies outa the bank so I can get paid. And don't let the door hit you on the way out." Karen was oblivious and waved her away with a hand.
This tough as nails woman would have none of this talk from a teen. Taking out a large computerized cuff she snapped it in place on Karen's forearm. She simply said three little words.
"You're under arrest."
"WHAT?! Just who the hell do you think you are?" Karen wasn't about to be pushed around by some supermodel in a tight bathing suit. Swinging back her fist once again she aimed a punch right at the woman's face.
The woman barely flinched at the hit. She didn't even blink. Karen on the other hand had a shocked look of pain in her hand.
"That, would be a SHIELD approved Inhibitor Cuff, designed for just about every meta human, mutant or alien earth's ever encountered. And that's right, you guessed it. It shuts off your powers down to a cellular level."
She grabs a squirming Karen, taking her to the SHIELD Vehicle just outside, right before slamming the doors in her face she responds.
"I'm Carol Danvers. And you and I are about to have a very long talk with your parents."
Karen's screams could be heard through the streets of the moving van.
"NOOO!!!"

Teddy had never been to a Victoria's secret like this before. He'd heard plenty of talk about them, but they never had weird lingerie shows. Not for women, and especially not for men. Instantly, he became suspicious that this was not a Victoria's Secret, but some weird villain hide-out, and so he grabbed Billy's hand and dragged him away from the Victoria's secret to the safe and sound department store.
There he found a pair of pannies with rainbows and unicorns, and that seemed a fitting gift from Billy. For himself, he picked out a pair of plaid. He asked the lady behind the counter to wrap it for him since it was a gift, and she nodded. The package was done up in a fancy pink bow and white paper, which wasn't exactly what he was hoping for, but it would do.
"So where were we eating again?"

Wally gave Zinda Blake the thumbs up. The plan was simple - Blackhawks looked the same as it always did....but once Cassie brought Chris in tonight, Zinda would give the signal and Wally would redecorate the place for Chris's birthday in an eyeblink. Then he'd give Chris his present. It was a brand new baseball glove - the one he knew Chris had eyed the last time they'd hung out at the mall.
"So tell me, sugar rush, what are you going to do until party time?"
"Oh, I thought I'd go over to the school paper office and, you know....see if there was anyone there who wanted to cover the party. Can you finish inflating these balloons, Zinda?"
"Sure thing, I love me some great big balloons! See you later." Wally gave her a wave and zapped over to the school paper. He knocked on the door.
"Hey, anyone in here? Lois? Clark? Linda? Lois?"

::Clark had gone to bed in a sane world and woken to a crazy one. All day long, people pestered, questioned, and yelled at him about his "date" with Linda Park. No, they weren't dating. No, he wasn't betraying Lois. No, did he hypnotize "the Ice Queen." No, he didn't know Bobby Drake had "stolen his girl."
Rao, was this what dating Lois would be like? If he ever could get Lois to go out with him sans cape. He decided to work on editing the next edition of the Herald to get away from the badgering of students. After a while, he heard Wally call his name.::
Back here, Wally!
