Hmmm since this thread is so active, I thought it'd be perfect for passing on my ideas for a comic I want to do about naruto. Basically, I just want some encouragment to do it cause I get really lazy when I have no motivation. I know, its cheap to come here looking for it but hell, I figured it'd be good for a laugh.

Anyway, the idea for the comic is to move the crew of naruto (not the entire crew, just like the main ones including Atsuki and what not.) Basically I want to move them to a modern time and put them....


IN RETAIL!!! *cue dramatic music*

Yep, thats right, you walk into Sear's and see Sakura standing there arguing with Ina over a customer. You go to gamestop and find Sasori playing video games with his puppets. Things like that. I thought it'd be hilarious.

I already have some ideas for stores and what not. The thing is, I want to use more...nationally recognized stores, I wanna try to make it to wehre people all over would understand the significance of the store, not just people in the town wehre I live. Htat's why I'm putting them in a shopping mall (made up one)

So, without further adue, here are my thoughts:

The general idea of the story is that Tsunade has run up a huge tab(again) that's followed her all this way. She owes this old guy she swindled some serious cash and she completly forgot about it. I mean this is from when she was still back in Konoha before becoming a Sannin. So with interest and everything, she owes the guy a few million ryo. Obviously she can't pay it and the Counsel of Konoha refuses to help her pay it (they'd bankrup the villiage) so Tsunade devises a rather devilous plan. Pulling some strings, she strikes a deal with the guy that if she can get him some workers for the holiday season, that would pay off her debt. He calculates how much they could probably bring in and agrees to it.

So...Tsunade makes it a mass mision that anyone and every can partake in. Namly, our favorite gennin squads. The timelines a little warped but bare with me.

So anyway, the job distributions go like this. Kakashi ends up working in Borders, namely the adult novel section.

Shikimaru and Hinata end up working...in Victoria Secret.

Sakura and Ina work at rival resturants and constantly get into food fights.

Sasuke works...at Burger King. Yes, Burger King. I even got a little skit planned out for him. He starts working and the owner tells him to work in the back as a fry and burger cook. They get this HUGE order and the oven isn't cooking them fast enough. So what does Sasuke do *handsign* PHEONIX FLOWER STYLE JUTSU!!!! Roasts the whole damn place.
The guy can't fire Sasuke so he forces him to work the register.
Sasuke obviously hates this and is growling and gritting his teeth the entire time...
Sasuke: "Hello...*grumble growl* Welcome to burger king. What do you want?"
Mysterious yet well known voice: "Well now brother...when I told you to build your hatred for me...I never expected you to go to this length...wow...I'm...wow."
Sasuke looks up: "ITACHI! I FINALLY HAVE YOU! *handsigns* CHIDORI!!!!!!"
Manger: "SASUKE UCHIHA! What the HELL do you think your doing?!"
Sasuke stops mid thrust, "This is my brother! He KILL my entire FAMILY!! I have to get my REVENGE! I'm an avenger dammit!"
Manager: "Not today you ain't. Your a clerk and he's a customer. And the customer is ALWAYS right. ALWAYS!"
Sasuke: "But...but he killed my family..."
Itachi: "You heard the man sasuke...now serve me little brother..."


Hmmm moving on, Gai and Rock work at the Gensing/health food store. However, gai also decided to take on some additional jobs with infomertials doing some for Nortertrack, Pillaties and Viagra. AND, to prove that he still has his body of youth, he models lingerie...at Victoria secret.

As you can guess, Neji and Tenten are mortified (Neji wants to rip out his own eyes, Byakugan be damned) They go screaming to kakashi and beg him to let them on his squad.

By the way, Tantan works at Home Depot and Neji works at a women's clothing store.
Randome 300lb woman comes up to Neji, "Hay, does this dress make me look fat?"
Neji: "Lady...you have no idea how many ways I can answer that..."

Shino and Kiba work at Petsmart...although Kiba can't seem to grasp the fact that the poisonious animals are suppose to stay in their kages...

Choji works with Gai and Rock at the gensing/fitness store, going stircrazy with all the tastless crap.

Kurami(I forgot how to spell her name...Hinata's cell leader) works at Fredericks (a lingerie ONLY store that down here)

While their at the mall, the Sand Sibling come to the mall to do some shoping (also read as Tamari grabbed Kankoru and Gaara by the hair and dragged them) When they get there, Tsunade see's them and instantly puts them to work. They try to protest but she give them that evil anime glare that no one dares oppose and they get to work.

gaara works at one of thoe tempra pedic bed stores but he STILL can't get to sleep.

Kankoru works in macy...at the Makeup counter.

But then, the Aketski come in and everyone thinks their there to start trouble. But they are really just there to do some shoping themselves. Tsunade walks up to them and asks them to get to work as well. Obviously, their like no way in hell but she gives them the evil glare and they scurry off to work.

Sasori starts working as the Mall Clown and gets annoyed when all the kids keep hopping on his puppets and wanting to ride them like horses.

Dodoria...well the poor b*****d can't decide if he wants to go work in the disney store or at Victoria secret. With his looks, eh could pass either way.

Tobi works at the african mask store.

The plant dude...he never really gets a job, he keeps avoiding everyone (or trying too) by hoping in a vase or something...but ya know...a giant venus fly trap is kinda hard not to spot.

While Itachi is making fun of Sasuke, Tsunade walks by and pushes him into the Burger King, beats him silly and makes him start working there as well. And taht...THAT is when the dreaded secret as to why Itachi keeps Sasuke alive is revield. It's horrible...it's terrible...its....pretty damn common actually.
Itachi kept Sasuke alive cause he was a cute little brother...and the ladies love a man who has a cute little brother. yep, thats right. Itachi's a ladies man.


And now, your probably wondering where our favorite knuckleheaded ninja is. Well, where else would the most hyperactive ninja in all the world be? Yep, that's right. Naruto is working at Starbucks. What? You were expecting a candy store or something? Well, he gets payed in Ramen flavored Mooca Capachino. And lets see YOU make 13 cups of coffee all at once for one pay check!
I didn't think so.


So there ya have it. I don't have jobs for everyone yet and that's where I need help. I'm intentionally go for jobs that would be either ironic or just down right hilarious. So toss in your ideas. And if you think you have a better idea than one I put up, please share. Not saying I'll use it but you never know.
