Liam still had no idea what was going on, but the floor was almost clear of glass now and it seemed that the new girl wasn't upset anymore. 'How cute!' Leila had said, and Liam turned his face away. 'She was just talking about the cat,' he told himself. When he heard her mention food to Holly and Kihaku, he turned back. His stomach growled slightly and he walked towards the baggy clothed Leila. "I haven't eaten either.." he said quietly, and looked towards Holly. "But, what exactly did I miss?" he asked even more quietly, nodding towards the window. It seemed that Dream had the strange demon covered, but he stil found himself clutching a little tighter onto Lucky.

Steffen rolled one shoulder, hearing a low voice of morning sail on the wind. It was the angels... Seems some one had done one of the little beasties in.

"Thats right... Go send your legions to look for it...Separate darlings." He knew that the angels would disperse over the earth to find and retrieve the body of the fallen angel. He need only wait a small time longer... Ah! there it was, the gates where opening and there was a long procession leading out, The winged rats flying every which way in their search. The Demon narrowed his gleaming red eyes, trailing each one for a small amount of time.

"Hello precious." he hissed, greedily once the desired one was spotted. She was a lovely golden haired creature, accompanied by another strapping male specimen of an angel. sliding a finger over the intricate designs his suit was embroidered with, Steffen sprouted a pair of cruel and curved wings. He was so excited for the hunt, that the demon bit his lip till blood came forth.
He leapt to the air and set off to overtake the pair, piercing eyes locked on his prey.

"Oh! Well, then I'll get some for you too," Leila said, pulling up the loose pants with her free hand. Not knowing what anything was, she piled up a bit of everything until it was a mass of various coloured edibles, and handed the first to Kihaku, then Holly and finally Liam. "Who's the cute kitty cat?" she asked, rubbing behind one of its ears.

Haucon rooted through his closet like a pig hunting for truffles. When that failed to yield positive results, he began with his top drawer. From outside the room he heard Leila's exclamation of "How cute!" and that flustered coppery feeling came over him again. He pushed it out of his mind and continued to dig. The cat. She was talking about the cat. he tried to reassure himself.

After another minute of harried and now slightly frantic and worried searching he found what he was looking for. "Ha!" he exclaimed pulling a belt from beneath a pair of plaid boxers. He slammed the drawer shut and returned to the others. Leila was there, holding her clothing up, and Holly, Kihaku...and Liam. Haucon glanced almost imperceptibly from Liam to Leila. "Here." he said thrusting the clothing into her arms. "These might work better."

"Thank you," he said, carefully holding Lucky with one arm and the plate full of food with his other. "Uh, Lucky," he said and watched Leila scratch his ears. A moment later Haucon came trudging in, shoving clothes at Leila. She was a little close, so when that happened, he tried his best to balance his plate without it falling. He glanced at Haucon quickly; he had done it again, made Haucon feel jealous in some way. 'Time to move,' he thought and walked over to Holly's side. He was hoping to get the story from her anyways, about the chaos that went on while he was in the bathroom.

((Sorry, guys, been busy between band and work. I'm so tired. cry ))

Holly blinked and accepted the plate of food, placing it off the the side for a moment. A slight frown came over her face when she saw a young girl perch on the windowsill. As Dream walked over to her, Holly got a bad feeling. Like when Steffen had been around.

She shook her head as Liam sat down beside her. She remembered, "Oh, you want to know what happened, right?"

After a pause, she explained, "I believe that girl over there came flying in the window and broke it. I think she was covered in blood, so she had been fighting something. And I was helping Kihaku open her locket of memories."

With a grin, she added, "Do you feel sufficiently caught up now?"

"Oh..uh...thanks!" Leila smiled, taking the pants and headed back to the room to change. She slipped out of the pants quite easily and pulled on the new pair, which went to about her midshins. She looped the belt through the loops and tightened it as much as she could and adjusted the buckle to the middle of her torso. Seeing her old outfit on the ground, her brow furrowed and she nudged it into a corner with her foot. Returning to the room with her now cold plate of food, she eyed Liam over by where the angel was and Haucon looking moody.
It was really beginning to annoy her, she thought as she sighed heavily and went over to the now empty window pane, ignoring the demon that Dream was talking to, and ate the rest of her food in silence. Once she finished she went back for second helpings, taking more of what she had enjoyed than the rest.
If they're going to be this silly, then I'll just ignore them she told herself as she made her way past Haucon without saying a word.

Kihaku looked at the plate in surprise, before poking a little bit at the food. She wasn't really hungry, but she had a feeling if she didn't eat she would be hurting someones feelings. Sighing, she leaned back against the counter next to Holly and Liam, and took a few small bites.

Aysel shrugged as Dream came over, why should she explain herself to him, she grinned when the boy and the cat came in though and shifted into her own cat form and scampered over to investigate this new feline. The demoness was nothing like you would expect a demon cat to look like - she had long white fur, with splotches of ginger and black and icy blue eyes.

Haucon forgot his frustration and smiled at Leila when she came out redressed in what fitted her much better. She looked so much better somewhat more covered up, which was almost ironic in a way. "Feel better now?" he asked. But she seemed distant, sort of cold in a way. "Hey! What's going on?" he asked. He looked over at Liam immediately thinking him the cause. His common sense fought it's way through his anger. She's not like that. She's not playing you. You know that.

He took a deep breath, and felt some heat leave his body, but still, residual frustration existed. He glanced at the window, and realized it still needed to be fixed, and that might displace some of his anger. He moved to it and began to examine the few sharp edges left from where Aysel had crashed through less than an hour ago, trying to think if there were anyway he could fix it. Most of his magic was illusionary, temporary and ephemeral, he wasn't sure he could create a permanent fix for the window. He stared out of it concentrating, and lost in thought between Leila, Liam and the shattered window.

"Oh," Liam said after Holly explained, "Yeah, I'm pretty sure I get it for the most part," he said. The plate of food rested on his leg, and he stared at it for a second before scooping some up with the plastic fork and pretty much gulping it down. It wasn't long before the plate was almost empty, since he'd been practically swallowing down his food, and he let the cat have the rest, watching it lick the plate clean. He'd dare not look at Leila or Haucon, trying to stay out of a mess would be the best thing to do in the current situation. But when he looked over at the demoness in the window, she had turned into a strange-looking cat and was scampering toward them. Liam stood up quickly, Lucky in one arm and the plate in the other, set the plate on the counter, and stared down at the white-haired cat. Right now, Liam really couldn't trust new demons. How did he know that Violet or Steffen didn't get to her? After all, they were out to kill the objects surrounded in light, and a brightly glowing cat was probably the perfect prey.

Holly started to give him a smile, then saw the demoness approach them in cat form. Her plate of food untouched, but for the desserts, she gave the ginger-cat an uncomfortable look and stood up, walking over towards Dream. She felt bad to be leaving Liam, but.... when that girl was around, Holly felt that fingers of darkness were closing over her, slowly strangling her.

She shuddered nearly imperceptibly as she approached Dream. The sensation wasn't nearly as bad as it was when the other demon, Steffen, was around, but it was quite uncomfortable.

Following a strong scent in his nose, Remiel walked swiftly and silently. The scent was almost faint, but Remiel knew it and could ill afford to lose it. His staff he held sideways, keeping it off the ground. The staff was fragile, and he rarely used it to help him walk. As twilight approached, the cold got more intense. Remiel, fragile as he was, was getting cold. His huge, black, feathered wings wrapped themselves around his body as a kind of cloak. His robes did little to warm his frail body, so he welcomed the extra warmth.

Remiel stopped a moment. What was he doing? His stomach was growling. The foolish girl and man from several days ago were not enough to sustain him. Demon flesh and souls were what he needed. They gave him so much more energy and vitality. Remiel's mouth watered. He caught another scent, a faint demon scent. It was old. His mouth twisted. He needed food. Anything would do. Well, he thought, spotting a rotting rat on the pavement, almost anything.

Sighing, Remiel continued on, swinging his staff disconsolately. He came upon a fresher trail of the human's scent. He really had no choice now. His body automatically turned to follow the scent of the human. The scent of the human meant food.

After an hour's walk, Remiel stopped outside a tall building. The trail led into the building. He briefly considered going inside when a small human child wandered out from a nearby alleyway. Remiel's gaze was riveted at the pulse of blood in his neck. All scent trails forgotten, Remiel started toward the boy. The boy merely looked up at him sadly. He could have only been eight or nine years old, yet his eyes possessed an old man's jaded view of the world about him. Remiel didn't care. This was food, and this food wasn't running or screaming. The boy, slightly afraid, scooted against a wall and slid down, deciding he didn't care to live anymore. The oncoming person was a demon, he could tell that much. He was too perfect to be human. Remiel grinned. Finally, willing food. He reached the boy. Crouching, Remiel found himself eye level to the boy. He placed the bottom of the staff onto the ground to balance himself. The boy closed his eyes. Remiel frowned. This puzzled him. He reached out and grabbed the boy's throat. The boy didn't react. Shrugging mentally, Remiel quickly slit his throat and brought the boy's throat to his lips. He eagerly lapped up the blood. When the blood stopped flowing, Remiel half closed his eyes. There! Just above the boy's head was his soul, hovering uncertainly. Remiel's tongue snaked out, growing longer to snatch the soul from the air. He swallowed. Very good. He then proceeded to eat the child's body.

When he finished his bloody meal, Remiel rehinged his jaw and stood. He carefully checked his robes for blood. He could see no stains. Good. Strutting back to the building, Remiel decided that he might as well keep feeding. While the boy had been nourishing, he was still hungry and Remiel could sense demons up above. They would provide good feeding. Remiel let a small smirk play itself onto his face. This night would be bloody. Hopefully, his blood would not be included.

"Oh come on" Aysel said as the other cat was lifted away "I just wanted to say hi" The demoness ignored the angel as it moved away (and so it should otherwise it would be in rather deep trouble) and kept her eyes fixed on the cat. She could tell it was a creature of light but didn't care, cats were after all cats.

"Nothing, simply nothing. Just like you said there is nothing when you get upset for no reason around Liam. Just like your jealousy is nothing," Leila said calmly as she sat on the floor, leaning her back against the wall and started eating again. She was apparently in the 'middle' of something between Haucon and Liam that she was unaware of (and Liam was probably unaware of it too). Either way, that did not call for his reaction that way.
She took a bit of food in her fingers and gestured towards the now-cat demon. She probably wasn't going to leave any time soon, not without causing Leila and the others a bit of chaos first. "Are you a bit hungry?"
