Johnny Malone Aanika_Phaeton Wait. Back the train up. This is an RPG board game we're talking about? Sort of, it's a game like Dungeons and Dragons, create a character, roll dice, fun game. That's awesome! And where might I find said game. My local Walmart, or more like some special game/sci-fi/card collecting store?

Some Barnes and Nobles will still have it, but you would be better off looking at a specialty game store, Wizards hasn't made any new books in a while. But if you can find it (it shouldn't be too hard) it's definitaly worth buying (as long as you have a group that is willing to play.)

Aanika_Phaeton Cale Darksun Gaming store. Walmart wont have jack for our hobby. True dat. How many can play? Really as many as you feel comfortable with having in your group, the average group is about four or five people, one game master and the rest are players.

Aanika_Phaeton Cale Darksun Gaming store. Walmart wont have jack for our hobby. True dat. How many can play? I recomend a maximum of four players and a game master. so 5. you can play with a minimum of two but it gets rather lame. Optimum fun occurs at 4-5 people.

Cool, well I'm having like, 5 friends over tomorrow night. We were just gonna play N64 and eat food and watch a movie or two. But this game sounds so much more exciting.

I've been hinting at cale for some time to do the SWRPG thing online here in the guild, but I'm not sure if it really would work.

Aanika_Phaeton Cool, well I'm having like, 5 friends over tomorrow night. We were just gonna play N64 and eat food and watch a movie or two. But this game sounds so much more exciting. a good way to explain it is like this: The GM is the stroryteller in an interactive story, and the players are the main characters in that story. The GM tells everybody whats going on and the players tell the gm what their characters do in the galaxy.

Cale Darksun I got the hint, but I'm not interested. I'll back Cale up on this, the game looses something when done over the internet, half of the fun is sitting with your friends around a table and being able to see the people you are playing with. It's also a lot of work for the game master to create everything. Besides the RP system up here on Gaia, is fine (at least from what I have read of this guild's RPs)
