((Hope the little timeskip was okay. :3))
"A flying ...what?" Suijin couldn't help but chuckle at him. "I dozed off a few times but I couldn't really sleep, so it's okay." It seems that she can't sleep well on a train, but it could have just been excitement from traveling. She stood up once the train came to a full stop, still holding Shiro's hand so she could pull him up, "Though I am really sleepy now."

(( Yup )) Ah well, we'll find a good spot for you to fall asleep for a while. If I remember correctly there's some great hotels and stuff in Deling." Standing up with her he cracked his neck a few times before leaning over to give her a kiss. "But first thing's first, we gotta get off this train before it starts moving again." Now awake and full of energy Shiro got a good grip on Suijin's hand as he started making for the exit. This was exciting, he hadn't been to Deling in years and he remembered it as a gorgeous city. But more importantly, it was a chance to get some real training in before their SeeD test.

"Okay." Suijin nodded and followed after Shiro through the train and out of the station. As they were going through, Suijin tried to take in their surroundings as if she would never see them again. They went up an escalator, which led to a platform overlooking the city. Suijin was amazed at the lights and colors, and even though it was night, there were still many people out wandering the streets. "Do you remember where the hotels are?" Suijin asked, still a bit distracted by the city.

"Nope. Wait, I mean yes." He said as he looked out at the city, it really was dazzling at night. "I believe it's called the Galbadia Hotel, the one I'm thinking of. Never been in it before, never been in Deling long enough to need to. But when I was working on the trains the people would always talk about how great it was. There's probably a few others in the general area, but I think we should check that one out first. It's not that far from the station I think. Try not to get lost." Shiro said with a grin as he took her hand and started for the city at a quick pace.

Before she could say another word, she was pulled along through the streets. "Alright, I'll trust you to find it." she finally managed to say. Glancing at store fronts and people, she ogled at the prettiness of it all while trying to forget how exhausted she was. She noticed a long vehicle stopping to let off people and letting some more on. "What is that?" she asked, though not expecting an answer.

"Eh?" Shiro took a moment to look around, spotting the vehicle in question. "Oh that's a bus. Deling's a big city with loads of people, walking everywhere doesn't cut it some times and not everyone has a car. Buses travel along certain routs, stopping at key locations throughout the city. Its pretty convenient." He said, feeling knowledgeable for the first time. It wasn't much, but he'd visited enough cities to know about some of the various transport methods out there. "Course I wouldn't know where that bus is headed. But I'm pretty sure the hotel is close by..." As he walked looking around for the fabled Galbadia Hotel he lead Suijin down a rather busy looking street with tons of extravagant looking stores and lots of people, and there it was. A grand looking building with a large neon sign that read 'Galbadia Hotel'. "Ah here it is. What do you think hun? Looks nice."

"Ohh..." Suijin listened to Shiro's explanation of the bus with interest. She felt a bit silly about it but Balamb doesn't have buses. She smiled at him in thanks that he was rather kind about it and didn't make fun of her. She kept following him until they finally came to a building he said was the hotel. "It's fancy..." she said, looking around the outside of the hotel, "could we afford it?"

"I'm pretty sure we can. I was a mechanic for a while remember? I may have never been here, but I've always made it a point to be friendly to the passengers on the trains. You'd be surprised how many nice people there actually are out there." Shiro said with a grin as he took Suijin's hand and pulled her into the hotel with him. It was clear from the start that they were a little odd when compared to the other people walking around inside the lobby. The women had on tons of gaudy jewelry and small expensive handbags that didn't look like they could hold much of anything. The men designer shirts and slacks and what looks like uncomfortable shoes and sunglasses. They may have been looking at them, but Shiro paid them no mind as he walked right up to the receptionist. "Hey there, been a while hasn't it?"
"Oh?" The man behind the counter said, looking up from his computer to see who was addressing him. One looks at the tall white haired boy with gray eyes and he knew right away. "Ah Shiro! I was wondering when you'd show up. I must say it was quite a surprise to receive your call all of a sudden. How is your father? That crazy old coot still working on the rails? I haven't seen him in ages it feels like you know?" He asked, a big smile on his face.
"Heh heh, he's doing alright. He's not doing a whole lot of traveling anymore, he may do some work at the station from time to time but he hasn't traveled in a while, he's got to take it easy now."
"Yeah, guess that can't be helped. Age gets us all someday right? But I'm glad he's alright. Tell him to give me a call more often will you? Ha ha, ah but my you've grown. Last time I saw you you were just a tyke. A little tough guy, only this tall." The man said suddenly bringing his hand down lower to the ground. "Well maybe not that small. But you sure weren't the lady killer you are now. And speaking of..." He said, his eyes panning over to Suijin. "Who might you be young miss? I'm Johnathan." Johnathan extended his hand to her while Shiro laughed a bit.

Suijin followed close behind Shiro as they walked through the lobby of the hotel, feeling a bit out of place among the other people. Coming up to the counter, it seemed that Shiro and the man were already familiar with each other.
"Oh, hello." she reached forward and shook the man's hand, "My name is Suijin, it's nice to meet you." she gave a small warm smile to the man at the counter. It seems that he knew Shiro and his father quite well from the times that they were in town. Maybe when she had time, she should ask him about Shiro when he was younger.

"Ah that's a nice name, pleasure meeting you as well." He smiled as Suijin before going back to typing as he turned his attention back to Shiro. "Quite the lovely lady you've found here Shiro, wounder what she's doing with a knuckle head like you. Don't let him near a fish tank if you can help it." John said with a hardy laugh. "We can catch up later though, she looks a tad tired. I won't keep you two, I assume you want you're key?" After typing up a storm it seemed Johnathan was done with his business and two cards popped up from a slot in the counter. "Ouch, Johnny man that hurts. One time man, one time and you gotta bring it up every time I see you. Still, it was kinda funny wasn't it?" Shiro responded with a good laugh of his own as he nodded. "Yeah, I fell asleep on the train here and she kinda charged herself with making sure we didn't sleep through the stop." Shiro said looking at Suijin apologetically. He took the cards and gave one to Suijin, looking back at Johnathan and extending his hand. "Thanks a lot man, I appreciate this. We'll catch up later when we have a chance, we'll go out for sea food." Shiro couldn't help but chuckle while Johnathan started laughing at that last part, and taking Suijin's hand they made for the elevator. "Room 317. There, that was easy wasn't it?" He said with a grin as they waited for the elevator.

Suijin smiled at John as they left the counter to the elevator. "What about a fish tank?" she asked Shiro, turning her smile into a teasing one. "Yeah, it was easy. I didn't know you had that kind of connection." she said as the elevator door opened. They stepped in and Suijin pressed the button for the 3rd floor and the doors opened again a few seconds later. Getting sleepier by the second, Suijin grabbed Shiro by the hand and went down the hall. "309, 311, 313, 315, 317. Here we are." she used the card to unlock the door and opened it to see a lovely two bed room with a great view.
"Oh, wow." the room had some intricate detailing and decorations, it definitely was a fancy hotel. She walked over to the window that already had curtains drawn back and looked at the night sky and the night life. Everything was colorful and sparkling. Suijin felt what ever problems she had disappear, and thought that it might not have been a bad idea to leave Garden.

"Eh? Fishtank? I don't know what he was talking about, John's crazy. There's no such thing as fish tanks." Shiro said with a laugh, feigning ignorance as he followed her down the hall to the room. "Oooo, wow this is nice. Not bad Johny, not bad at all." Shiro decided to look around the room a bit while Suijin was busy staring out of the window. A nice big TV, fridge, fancy looking lamps and pens with the hotel name printed on them. The bathroom, was simply awesome. Mabel tiles, rain forest shower head, and even two bottles of shampoo! Shiro came back out and looked inside the closet, a safe with some hangers and an iron and ironing board....and bathrobes! He grabbed one off he hanger and slung it on over himself, it was so soft and comfy. "Look honey, bathrobes! Man this is awesome!" He said with a grin as he sprinted to the closest bed and jumped on it, the fluffy down pillows and mattress absorbing the shock as he sunk right into them.

Honey? Suijin turned to look at him just as he dropped himself onto the bed. She smiled at him and walked over to the bed where she sat next to him. "It is pretty awesome. Thank you." she bent down a bit and kissed him on the cheek.

Shiro grinned, kissing her back. "Heh heh, don't thank me, I didn't do anything really. Johny got us the room and my dad's the one who befriended him. I just kinda cashed in on the opportunity." He said a bit sheepishly, starting to get comfortable and feeling his eyelids get heavy again. Shiro loved sleeping, a lot. "Hmm, you know I forgot what we came here for."

“No, I meant... if it wasn't for you, I probably would have never left Garden, to have fun...“ Suijin said getting up and plopping herself down onto the other bed. She's been awake for so long and now the need to sleep was starting to weigh on her, she didn't even care she was still in her uniform. “Good night...“ she said, closing her eyes and soon drifting off to sleep.
