Hokaru Moneru Tokeru kept hugging her, and smiled as she said she was pregnant. "Well thats excellent." he said, and then smiled at Mercedes, and then it registered. "WHaat? But how is that possible? You're a vampiress, I mean, who, what, when, How?" Then realizing that he was acting oddly, and afraid he was giving her the wrong impression, he smiled again. "Are you sure? When did you find out?" He then hugged her tightly, then immediatly let go, then hugged her again, lighter this time. "Don't get me wrong, i love the idea of having a child with you, but how's it even possible? I mean, technically, you're dead. Wouldn't any chance of having the child be destroyed right there?" Not wanting to hear what she knew, because he assumed she had no idea. He kissed her deeply, making sure to keep pressure off of her stomach. (( Not to sound morbid or degrading or anything, but those childish arguements that cannot be overlooked is exactly why wars are started. You are both over-reacting and you should both mind what you say to one another. That and just OOC posts aren't supposed to be within the rp sections. Take your complaints to the bitching forum or use pms. Now, Matterthief, if you're going to quit the guild, stop OOC posting and delete your posts like you said. And Naota, I'm sad to see you leaving over such a little deal. Matterthief, I'm sad to see you're leaving over such a little deal as well. But meh, life goes on. Now here's my point: Grow the ******** up. (I'm contraversial and need to stick in my opinion) ))
When Joey asked her if she was psychic, she merely nodded, wondering how the hell he knew that she'd gotten the thought from him. And when Mercedes said that she'd thought she was pregnant, well, Edith grew just that much more hopeful and excited. However, she did not get too excited, after all, things usually did not turn out the way she expected so there was no use in getting all hyped over this.
Then she was bombarded with all of Tokeru's questions, feeling his happiness, his bafflement, and his doubt. She was sure that he, like her, did not want to get his hopes up, after all, he did have a point, she was dead and the dead, from what she knew, could not reproduce through methods that the living did. She was about to answer when she was captured by his kiss and though he was keeping pressure off her stomach to be mindful and safe, she just smiled and pulled him against it.
'You're not going to be afraid to get close to me now, huh? I didn't even notice that my stomach grew until the dress and I wouldn't have thought of that idea until Joey considered it. As for how, I have no ******** idea. As far as I know, I am dead, so .... dead is dead. I'm probably just wishfully thinking, but I still wanna go in and have Gail check me out in case this stomach thing is bad.'

Mercedes watched the couple and the loving and happy looks going between the two. She stepped aside, her hands still in her pockets. These people were new to her. She didn't even know their names, let alone to be involved in their private matters.
"Anyway, the name is Mercedes, but most of my friends call me Mercy. If you need anything give a shout, but for now I'm going to leave you two to discuss things alone. I know how these things are."

Tokeru smiled and stepped back. "Well, it appears we have a healer right here, she could check on you. Would you mind Mercedes?"
Almost smacking his head because he forgot about Aria again he hastily responded. "Well, I have a temporary set up that we can go to, it's not nearly as big, but it will do for now, untill i can contact my supriors and order another one built."
You want me to come with you? I mean, if you are pregnant that could explain the blood craving, and the food expellage. That and I would also like to know. I mean, if it's for sure, then we'll need to set a wedding date and everything, and set up a nursery also.

Edith took one look at Mercedes and all certainty left her. She used to be the gullible trusting kid who'd do whatever they were told with little question. She used to be the girl who'd fall for a guy and think that he liked her back when really all he was after was sex, money, or status. Trust had been the very reason she was turned into a vampire, trusting one whom she had thought had been close to her. So, it was quite reasonable that she now had her barriers and that she did not trust easily, Tokeru somehow being an exception.
But she was strong, and she knew when enough was enough. When she was a kid, if she was asked to do bad things repeatedly, she said no after a while. As a girl, she'd dumped the guy as soon as she'd found out what he was all about if it was just for social status or material goods. And as for why she'd become a vampire, she was going to deal with the b*****d that turned her soon enough.
"I don't," she said calmly though her head screamed in uncertainty and condemnation at the thought of a stranger looking at her, "think I know you well enough, Mercy, to allow you to look at me. No offense or anything, but I'm kinda this ******** up because I've trusted so many people."
'I suppose that it could. Yes, I'd like you to come, but only if you want to. I know you said you wanted to know and that you're asking because you probably wanna come, but still. What's the hurry? I don't think now, after the Chapterhouse has been targeted for a hit, that we should be planning our wedding and where we'll get a nursery.
Actually, now that I think about it, I don't think you should come. I want you to, but you should not distract yourself with me. You have your duties as the lead Stalker. We need to find out who attacked the Stalkers, how they knew where we were located, and why. Well, why's probably a given, but still. And we have to take into consideration that it was in the middle of the friggin' day. I mean, who attacks a base in broad daylight? '

Tokeru was a bit saddened when Edith told him his duties, and she was right, but then he thought of some way to turn it around, into something that would give him an excuse to join her.
"Yes but, I will need to let Will know about this attack, and tell him my suspicions. I will need to talk to him about it, so we can figure out what we can do as a group, not just as the Shadow Stalkers, but as hunters."
He held his breath, hoping it would fool her, but knowing full well she could read his mind, but hoping she would let him go anyway.

The question Tokeru asked brought Mercedes gaze on Edith. She was thinking the same angle as the vampiress. "That's really up to her. A lot of people have trust issues, so it's usually just lycan family and friends that come to me. Not that I mind taking a look at her, but I'm just not so sure."
Hearing Edith confirm her own doubts, she nodded. "It's not a problem, but if ever in the future you're in dire need of help you can look me up." She smiled warmly at the two. "Just think, you'll know if she is sometime tomorrow. I'm sure another day won't hurt."
