Anc shrugged.
"Every eighty years o' so yeh live life over again. You only remember the real traumatic s**t. Big wars you was in, sumone important dyin', that kinda thing. After awhile yeh forget who you was or how yeh got to where yeh are, 'n jus' start everything all over again. I know I've been 'round fer a good long time. I dun remember jus' 'ow long, but sumwhere in da happy land 'o ten 'n a mill and some change, But after yeh've lived a thousand years, yeh might as well lived three, 'n after yeh git da millions 'o years, s**t, it dunt even matter." He paused, taking another pull of the firewine, "Nah, it ain't all it's cracked out da be, but ain't half as bad as yeh make it out da be. Might as well just restart yer life e'ry hundred years 'er so."

"Lemmeh chehck." Arch mumbled.

/Yes, Locke is in there. He's quite mad as well. I would, however, advise moving in now, and simply killing him/ The Seer's voice sounded to just the two of them.

Arch got tired with waiting, and, taking the Seer's advice, kicked in the door to Locke's room, and began to open fire on him.

As they opened fire, Xeen's familiar bounded past them, hurling itself into the room.
The resulting detonation blinded anyone nearby temporarily, the smoke clearing to reveal that Locke had prepared an Aura to defend himself from the worst of it. He slumped in his chair, bleeding heavily, and barely breathing, but he mustered enough force to grin.
"We launched the missle of Union City for that. Next outburst, we all die, and there is nothing your Seer can do to stop it." Locke croaked, his wounds starting to heal at a slow, but visible pace.

Xeen rushed to the room, eyes wide.
"You fired on Union?!"

Anc shook his head.
"Sum things yeh rememeber, the things ingrained inda yer head. After the first thousand or so, which is an easy feat da do in a few dozen years, killin's easy. Wrap yer hand 'round the hilt, and the wrap yer enemy 'round the blade. Yeh never ferget. Same with walkin', breathin', breedin' 'n cookin' All o' it's easy 'nuff once yeh've done it every day fer a few million years. It'll never leave yeh."

((So the missile is launched, or is he bluffing? I'm not gonna bother stopping it, but a warning would sound in Union if it was happening))

Arch quickly moved in while everyone else was blinded, his shades protecting him from the flash. He kept his gun trained on Locke. He really wished that something would cut any lines leading out of here, as well as intercept wireless transmissions and stop them.

Then it happened.
/You're welcome/ He muttered to Arch.

((Sounds good. I'll have some characters moving people quickly. Should be interesting.))

Arch hoped the Seer's block of transmissions was working. He swung one blade down into the tendril, swinging his other arm out and firing a round at Locke.

Xeen eased himself to his feet, before flinging himself at Locke again, who simply raised his hands and dissolved Minerva's gun, wreathing it in black mist, before Xeen hammered into him, pummeling the older man into the floor under a whirlwind of dishwasher-sized fists that had sprouted from his back, suspended on long tendrils.
"GO! FIND THE REST OF THE MISSLES AND DISABLE THEM NOW!"
