Minerva the Marvelous Minerva chuckled, "I don't like timers, I'm more of a button kind of gal." She moved away from the jeep, getting a decent distance away. "5....4.....3......2.....and..." It was a beautiful flashy boom, and quite a show.
And, indeed, she looked a lot more relaxed than before, and started singing Ballroom Blitz to herself. "That was awesome, Min, thanks for letting me watch."

Verve's clapping drew attention to him, however. "...Um, sir?" A.C. called over while she unscrewed the hatch of the tank. "Why is your little shield burning like that?"

"...Huh." She lowered herself into the tank in one fluid movement and set the hatch closed above her once she was in.
"Alright," A.C. said to the boy, "Unhae's not back with the popcorn, we're in a tank, and I'm seeing no reason not to use it as a monster truck! What'd'ya say, kid, have you ever wanted to crush cars by driving over them? Now's the chance--I'll even let you drive."
No kid could resist, and the two cars were totalled in no time flat.

((Ah. Thought he was a bit farther back than that, yeah... Pieces really got stuck in his shield? I thought it was Pure Energy or something. Didn't seem the most likely substance to get stuck in.))

Erica, Aaron, and Xeen appeared at the front of the AA base, waiting for someone to answer their request for entrance at the door.
Erica gave Xeen an odd look. "Why did you do that? We could have fought, we could have helped out, we could have done something....at least I think."

Eulalia Danae ((*refreshed*)) Erica, Aaron, and Xeen appeared at the front of the AA base, waiting for someone to answer their request for entrance at the door. Erica gave Xeen an odd look. "Why did you do that? We could have fought, we could have helped out, we could have done something....at least I think." Xeen shook his head. "We could have fought, and died. Gone to hell with the ones we took. Dying is not somthing I care to do this day."

"They took our daughter and you didn't even blink." Erica bit back an urge to yell at him. "If those four things are not defeated now, do you think there will be another day for us to choose to die?"
Aaron adjusted his stance getting a bit nervous from the tension, which brought Erica's attention back to him. She ruffled the red curls, always the motherly type. Even if she didn't like it, she had to admit she wouldnt' have been able to fight and protect the child at the same time.
