Jaydis took her time walking to the bar before she noticed the Pills and broken glass pieces. -Damnit- She thought to herself, knowing the pills belong to her Boss. She had told him once before to keep that crap from behind the Bar. Her fellow workers always took advantage of a free buzz, but a rogue customer? That was a first.
She took a moment to assess the situation before picking the woman's head up from it's dangling position and laid it on the bar gently. She lifted the girl's eyelids, checking her eyes and then slapped her lightly on the cheek in an attempt to wake her.

Pale grey eyes started to blink open as Ruby's cheek was lightly slapped. She let out a low groan, and tried to turn over, but ended up rolling herself off the bar counter and onto the floor.

Jaydis let out and irritated huff and bent down to gather the girl up from the floor. Jaydis picked the girl up beneath her arms and pulled her to her feet before setting her in a chair. She went behind the bar and filled a glass with cold water before returning and shoving the glass into the girl's hand.
"Next time, wait until the Bar's open before you try to kill yourself." Jaydis said flattly.

Ruby sipped the water, "what kinda bar's not open at the prime time of the drinkin' hours?"

Jaydis looked down at the girl with her cold black eyes. "Because I was running a bit late." She replied in monotone. She stepped back behind the bar to flip some switches to get the head lights turned on and get the building ready to be used. She started the ice crusher and replaced the heavy kegs easily. She simply let the girl sit and gather herself as she went on about her usual routine.

Ruby felt a headache pounding behind her eyes, she picked up a few of the pain pills on the floor and swallowed with the water. "What kind of bar is actually open at all, when the whole city is runnin' into anarchy?" She smiled as the familiar buzz kicked in.

Jaydis sighed and shook her head. Even she didn't know why they bothered. War was at their heels and yet, here she was, serving cheap booze instead of training. She should be at home, using her cat as target practice instead of being here, cleaning up an addict of a Woman and having a concersation about the troubles of their fair city.
"Listen, this isn't a Hospital. Stop taking those pills and get out of here." She demanded rudely. She wasn't paid to clean up reckless messes.

"Hospital would just put me in the morgue, had that happen a couplea times." Ruby shrugged. She stood up, and placed the water back on the counter. "Thanks, for the water," She gave a half smile and walked out the door.
Ruby was too much of a mess to worry about where she was going next. She headed towards a rather large hole in the city wall. In her drugged mind she had one thought: she needed to get back home. She needed Mississippi.
She walked out into the wastelands, with nothing but a compact mirror in her pocket, a clouded mind, and the vague hope that she was heading in the right direction.

Jaydis simpky watched the girl go before she tossed the glass in the sink and stepped around the counter to clean up the mess. She gathered all the mess in one area, broken glass and pills and scooped it all up into her hands. The glass stung when it sliced her hands from the wine, but she ignored it. She dumped the mess in the trash and readied herself to open the bar.
She hated her job. She hated people. Especially the people that came to this place.

RJ walked into the club and gave Jaydis a nod, "hey, any trouble in the bar tonight?" She asked in a sort of greeting. Her hair was a little messed, and it was obvious she'd been a fight recently, but most of the problems had been settled, or more like she had been exiled from her home as she had suspected would happen. It was for the best though, all things considered, her father, or more accuratley, her stepfather, was no longer the one in control, and there wasn't much any of them could do about it, not at the meantime.
She caught sight of the spilled wine and the glass, "some of the customers have a party?"

Jaydis looked up as RJ entered. "Not really." She replied in her usual dull tone. She always seemed bored or annoyed. It was wonder anyone had even hired her. She washed out Ruby's water glass and slid it back onto the rack with some other glass.
"No." Jaydis began. "Just some girl trying to kill herself in here." She finished as if it were no big deal.

"And did she succeed?" RJ asked. She grabbed a washcloth and started to help clean up the mess around the bar. She seemed unphased by Jaydis' usual attitude, but she worked with people who were prone to cruelty, and Jaydis may sometimes be surly, but she wasn't usuay cruel.

Jaydis gave a slight shake of her head. "She just left." She unlocked the cash register and put in rolls of coins for making change. She turned on a few more lights and then leaned against the counter. She wished she was away from the Bar. At home. It was safer in these days to be at home than anywhere else, or so was Jaydis' opinion.

"Good, then she'll be killing herself on somebody else's watch." RJ tossed the washcloth into the sink. "So have you seen the mess out there?" She asked Jaydis, nodding her head towards the outside door. Faint sounds of sirens and occasional gunshots could be heard in the streets, for the most part people should be panicking, but it was safter to stick indoors, well so long as the building wasn't on fire.

Ruby St.Claire "Good, then she'll be killing herself on somebody else's watch." RJ tossed the washcloth into the sink. "So have you seen the mess out there?" Faint sounds of sirens and occasional gunshots could be heard in the streets, for the most part people should be panicking, but it was safter to stick indoors, well so long as the building wasn't on fire. Anc stepped in, wiping some of his own blood off of a deep cut on his brow, cursing under his breath. He turned to RJ, and raised his unmaimed brow. "Right nicea yeh da jus' leave me at the Dome, yeh know? Makes me feel all kinds o' loved 'n cared fer."
