I don't particularly mind the 'Vote for your favorite pairing!' threads. I tend to ignore them if they get REALLY repetitive.

And about Sakura's feelings be immature.. you know, that has to be one of the anti-SasuSaku comments that ticks me off the most.
If they say Sakura's feelings for Sasuke were immature, that she knew NOTHING about love when she was twelve, then what's stopping them from saying NONE of them knew about ANYTHING when they were twelve?
They say a twelve-year-old knows nothing about love. Oh, really? Then.. what does a twelve-year-old know about dreams? Revenge? Justice? If Sakura felt nothing more than 'childish' feelings for Sasuke, then does that mean Naruto's dream to become Hokage is STUPID? He'll never succeed! And how about Sasuke's quest for revenge? Oh, that must be complete RUBBISH because he was only, what, EIGHT when he made that decision?
But look, he's fifteen and STILL WANTS IT. Same for Naruto; he STILL wants to become Hokage.
The two of them had their minds set; why couldn't Sakura have done the same?
I personally think she did.
And if they say Sakura's feelings were immature.. then they might as well say the same about Lee's for Sakura, Naruto's for Sakura, Hinata's for Naruto, Ino's for Sasuke, and so on. If Sakura was too 'young' to know about love, then so were the others.
But you know.. Sakura was at the top of the class. She was extremely intelligent. Her skills when it came to knowledge surpassed Naruto's and probably Sasuke's. Don't you think that made her mature and smart enough to know what LOVE was?
She might have been twelve, but so were the others. However, these kids are NINJA. They are trained to murder, to assassinate, to infiltrate, and to even give up their lives if worse comes to worse.
In short: I sincerely doubt Sakura's feelings were immature.
Although this is just my opinion.

Let's see now...
I believe that the apparent onslaught of SasuSaku haters (along with Sasuke and Sakura haters) shouldn't bother us, particularly because of their arguments as presented by Mingzhu-san. Each of the arguments were countered easily with logical answers. There's no contest. I'd feel more threatened by how different fans interpet the recent manga chapters, really.

She probably only wanted to make sure nothing horrible happened to Sasuke. Or something. Even if she would be powerless to stop it.

Sakura is really shallow. Hey girl! Where have you been!? Let me guess, you're still watching Episode 2 of Naruto and THEN you know what Sakura is like? She WAS shallow, okay.. I mean, people in general are attracted to looks. Just because Sakura proves that doesn't make her shallow. It just makes her normal! Don't tell me that you get attracted to personality RIGHT away.. attraction starts off with physical attraction.
Sakura is so weak and useless. The show would be better off without her. These people can't seem to get the point of putting a "normal" person in contrast to Naruto and Sasuke's angsty lives. All Team 7 members don't have to live tragic pasts. And I know I was frustrated with Sakura's abilities in the beginning which is why I'm really impressed with her strength and character development after the timeskip.
Sakura sucks. ... I still don't see why I have to argue with this. Plainly because it holds no base of debate, holds no reason and has no point. I usually ignore these.
You're really stupid! Sasuke is going to die alone. And he's not interested in girls anyway. One, I don't find the need to insult others just to get my point across. Two, it is not determined yet. Do NOT assume your mind goes in the same wavelength as Kishimoto. And three, do NOT assume your mind goes in the same wavelength as Sasuke.
Id LOVE to see someone back this up with a REAL debate. That she is shallow. So in that, I will give reasons why she is NOT shallow. First of all, she isnt dumb. She graduated the academy at the top of her class, she is a logical thinker. Everyone at the age of 12/13 has HUGE crushes and goes crazy of the cute guy. Believe me I know. But she matured a lot and she even knew time and place. When it came down to it, she put the mission before her feelings. And after Sasuke left, she did what she could to become stronger so she can bring Sasuke back and help Naruto. And not just that; her weakness as a kunoichi was always taijutsu and she has always felt the need to prove everyone wrong. And thats exactly what she did. So if being shallow, is wanting to bring a friend and team member back to where he belongs and helping friends, then I want to know what "deep" is to some people.
Sakura is so weak and useless.
She has never EVER been weak or useless. Before the her training with Tsunade, she was a genjutsu type ninja, where she was easily able to see through mind tricks and was able to come up with plans quickly and such. She is smart. She had her uses as a team member and friend. She was also able to stop Sasuke from killing Zaku in the forest of death. Duh, purpose. In part II she became STRONG, and said to be destined to be stronger then Tsunade, probably the strongest of the Sanin. So beauty, strength, and smarts. Sakura is far from weak, and even further from useless.
Sakura sucks. This makes me want to say "your mom sucks." There is no real point to this statement, and no backing up for it, and if there is, Im plenty sure that I could shoot you down easily. Because the fact that she shows one of the most impressive character developement of any of the characters in the show, doesnt make her suck. It makes her a strong character. I think this is a statement only meant to be PURE and BIAS. Most things are, but some more then others.

First off, calling someone stupid is retarded and a lame retaliation. Sasuke dying is another stupid, he is a main character and the show isnt called Sasuke, its about Naruto. And Naruto's short term goal of the moment is to bring Sasuke back. Yup, and thats what he is going to do. The show does not follow Naruto's trip to becoming strong enough to bring Sasuke back and then him die. Really, tell me now...What is the point in that? I think i would probably send a death threat to Kishimoto himself if he did that. I would write perfect Japanese just to insult him. And alone. Far from it, keeping SasuSaku and other couples out of the picture, he has friends, whether he wants them or not, they care for him, and he cant do anything about it. He will not die alone, as long as there are people out there that care for him. And on the "he doesnt like girls" statement, he doesnt like much of anyone right now, so that statement has been deemed VOID!

Those are some really good arguements, Mingzhu and Trusty. I hate seeing people post things like that. Especially when it's something like " Sakura sux!1!!". I personally would like to know why they think she sucks.
What bugs me even more is when people hate Sakura because she has pink hair. I mean, what kind of reason is that? It's like me saying I hate someone because they have brown eyes, something a person is born with and can't control.

Who want's to see Renee's reasons why Sasuke is not emotionless? heart
Here:
He doesn't seem all that emotionless to me :/ The boy is easy to anger-- and he has enough feeling to feel disgust toward someone who acts like his brothre (at least in his mind). He's pride for his clan and obligated to honor them.
He feels fear when Orochimaru first appears and when Itachi was close to Naruto. He feels jealousy when Naruto surpasses him. He feels torn when he has to choose between revenge and the friends who became so important to him.
He feels rage when Sakura's hurt. He feels annoyed by Naruto's antics. He feels grateful to Sakura at the goodbye scene. He feels like Naruto is his brother. He feels hatred for his brother.
He feels proud when he achieves the chidori. He feels the need to complete things he's started. He feels enough humanity to free people Orochimaru imprisoned.
He feels ashamed when he has to ask Naruto for the advice Sakura gave on chakra control. He feels contentment in his time with Team 7. He feels the need to protect his team members over and over. He feels ready to kill for Sakrua. He feels ready to give his life for Naruto and Sakura. He felt sadness and despair when his family was killed.

People say Sasuke's "emotionless" because he hardly reacts to things that normal people react to. He doesn't go all gonk or scream much like Sakura and Naruto do, which makes people think that he doesn't feel.
But the fact is, Sasuke just isn't easily jumped by minor things. I'm sure he feels something under that expressionless facade, though. It's just like what I read in one of my favorite SasuSaku fics: "Sasuke’s coldness had only ever run skin-deep, she knew that. At the core of his being was a volatile, overly-emotional and out of control boy." (SilverShine, "Just Persuasion.") I believe these words describe Sasuke perfectly, if not completely.
He shows extreme emotions, because these are the only feelings that he can't keep bottled up. I'm sure that if Sasuke ever smiled just a bit of a smile, it already says a lot, because if he feels something very little for a situation, he wouldn't bother showing it on his face. 'Nuff said.

That really pisses me off...>_> I mean...why the exception with Sakura? It does mostly comes from anti-SasuSaku-ers, so if you ask them about other pairings like NaruSaku (nothing against it) and or NaruHina and pairings like that...they won't say that Naruto or Hinata are just 12 so they dont' know what love it. You CAN know what love is. Sakura may be 12 at Part I, but her feelings couldn't have been more true. When you truly love someone you put that persons aside of your own. You're willing to sacrifice your happiness and maybe even life for that person. Didn't Sakura felt that? I believe so. So yea...sorry I'm donr ranting now...>_< I just had to say this before I exploded...
