Nightingale slowly made her way through the building, dead tired and still hurting from the light blast she had gotten. She went into the infirmary and grabbed some burn ointment, as well as checked up on Jaeger. Slowly shuffling down the hallway toward Raven's room, she stopped and watched Ameko packing. "How long are you planning on being gone for?"

Being used to the silence, Gales voice had scared her for a moment making her axcedently throw all the things that were in her hand into the air. As they came down she slowly turned toward Gale, "How'd you.." Sighing she figured not to even bother to ask. "To tell you the truth I'm not all that sure.. I made a promise to someone.. and I have to keep it." As she began to pick up her things Ameko gently said, "Please.. don't tell anyone.. I'll be leaving a note, but please promise me not to let Angel come after me," Putting her things into her suitcase she gave one more sigh and zipped the bag up, "I have to do this on my own.. And well, someone has to cover for me while I'm gone. He may be a smart alec, but he's quite strong when he wants to be." Now standing in front of Gale Ameko gave her a small smirk, "You take care kay? I'll be back as soon as I can."

"I won't tell. I'm going to be too busy sleeping. Come back as soon as you can. See ya." Nightingale gave a minuscule wave and went off to her room. She applied the burn ointment where it was needed, and fell into a deep sleep.

Jaeger started to stir a little in his bed in the infirmery. The pain from the burns had lessened, but he was still hurting. "Ow. Where is everyone?" He tried to get up, but that wasn't happening yet. The burnt and charred skin start to sluff off revealing much healthier looking skin beneith it.

Smiling she waved to Gale, 'Take care.' With that she walked out of her room. Turning to look in her bedroom one last time a small tear rolled down her cheek. There on her bed sat a letter, that read..
My friends,
I'm very sorry to say, but I must leave. Please, don't be angry with me, as I must keep a promise that I made quite a while ago, and I always keep my promises. Take care of Angel for me kay? If he annoys you go ahead and give him a slap on the back of the head for me. Just don't hurt him to badly. I'll miss you all so very much, but you musn't worry, I'll be back in time. Much stronger even.. Well, hopefully.

Letting the door close Ameko blinked making her eyes turn the steel blue color, with that she went threw the walls above her and flew out, towards the setting sun.

Storm, oblivious of Ameko leaving, went right on playing, and he leaned forward as he started to get into the game more, "yes, that's right Let's go, let's go!"

Angel laughed, "Dude, you're getting WAAAAAAY into the ga-.." Suddenly he stopped. "Somethings not right, somethings.. different." Scratching his head he began to look around the room trying to figure it out.

Shrugging, Angel figured it was nothing. "Well, I'm going to go check on the old man." By old man he ment Jaeger. Walking down to the infirmery, he passed Ameko's room. Walking past it he stopped and walked backwards back to the door. Knocking on it he yelled, "AMEKO! YOU SHOULD WATCH STORM GET BEAT BY A GIRL!!" As he waited for a yelled back answer he got nothing. Shrugging once more he figured it was just a girl thing and began to walk again.
Once down at the infirmery Angel walked right in without even knocking and he asked, "How's the geezer doin?"

"Well, sure it is!! If you take out the old part, I'm really calling him wise." He smirked as he walked over to Neo. "But really, is he going to be alright? He got hit pretty hard.. Well that's how it looks." He said as he sweat dropped at his last comment.

Jaeger started to get up, whinsing a bit. He coughed and sputtered a little. "Yeah, yeah, I'll live you little twerp." He gave Angel the stink eye and then turned to Neo. "Hey Neo, I'm moving. I could use a hand getting over to the shower though." Coughs a little more. "And could you tell me what happened after Light knocked me out?" Jaeger slowly, but surely got his feet under him and gestured towards the bathroom shower in the room adjacent to the infirmery.

*So . . . . leaving new york wasn't exactly the best of choices. Doing the whole drifter thing? it doesn't really work THAT great for humans, right? For a 5 foot nothing humanoid turtle? Not QUITE impossible when you've got skills. 'Course, getting by legally makes it more difficult. It's not like I can steal gas in this day and age. Hell, it's not like I can't practically HEAR Leo's #&&#xin;g lectures if I even THINK about it.*
*So, what's a turtle to do? well. I DID manage to save this guy's life. now, don't you look at me like that. this whole "saving people is its own reward" crap may be all fine and good if you're Superman? But those of us who don't have a day job . . . well, when the guy offers me money, I'm not going to turn it down.*
*It wasn't a lot, though, and it didn't get me THAT far. Just far enough across the country to get me in sight of a large building in the shape of a capital T. and I gotta tell ya. That's the weirdest thing I've ever seen. So, I pull off the road, and I just kind of . . . stare at it for a moment. Now, normally, I don't let my curiousity get the better of me . . . that's Mikey's bag. Donnie, too. Donnie's always looking into @#$! heshouldn't be. but tonight? Well, I hop back onto my bike, pull my fedora down low onto my head and start towards the T building.*

Colour was extreamly excited by the fact that Jeager was now... well... Moving. She sqealed and gave him a big hug. "I'm so glad your better!! We beat Light that's all that matters, Are you feeling okay? Does it still hurt? Will you be okay? I have to go tell everyone that your up!" Colour looked at Angel, "You're comming with me, if you stay here you'll give him a headace" She grabbed his hand and ran off to tell the others.

Angel laughed at Jaeger when he got the stink eye, "Thanks, but that doesn't really scare me." Suddenly Colour burst into her frenzy of concern. "Well, I rea-" Not being able to finish his sentence he was pulled away by the hand by Colour. "HEEEEEEYYYY!!" He yelled his whole way until they were out of the room. "Fine I'll go with you. No need to pull, all you have to do is say please. God." Pulling his hand away he sighed, "Now, who're we gonna tell first? And what again are we telling them?"
