"You forget that I've been bedridden all that time, too, so it would be natural that I want to walk as much as I can," Asher added with a joking smile. "Fine, we'll go to the convenience store. After that, we'll settle. Okay?" For a moment, he wondered if he needed to go to work tomorrow. He didn't get a call from the boss or anything...

Leo smiled and nodded. "Okay, lets go to the convenience store. They have yummy burrito's and hot dogs. Maybe we can get one of those!" he said happily, knowing that they were cheap and besides it was hot food which would be a nice change of pace. Leo quickly walked to the door and opened it, waiting for Ash to follow behind him before continuing through the parking lot.

Asher made sure to grab hats and sunglasses for the two of them just in case some reporters were lurking around. "Keep yourself hidden," he said as he gave Leo his hat and sunglasses. The convenience store was very nearby, but he did want to take precautions.

Leo took the items from his brother and smiled as he put them on. "I feel like I'm undercover!" he said with a small laugh. "To the convenience store Watson!" Leo said in a fake and really bad British accent as he set off for the parking lot, making sure to not trip over the curb this time.

Asher chuckled and closely followed the little Sherlock to the convenience store. When they soon arrived, he spotted a very familiar old man at its entrance. It was as if he had been waiting there, knowing they would come. "What's Gramps doing here?"

Leo happily walked with his brother to the convenience store but stopped in his tracks when he heard Daniel was there. Now he wasn't so sure if the convenience store was such a good idea, but he decided to give Daniel the benefit of the doubt. Maybe the man wouldn't try to get them to do the tour earlier than they were ready. Leo kept quiet as they came closer to the store, the sound of the music from inside getting a little louder with each step. "What do you think Daniel wants?" he asked softly, tightly holding onto Asher's arm.

"I don't know. Maybe he won't notice us if we slip by," Asher whispered, pulling his hat down to hide more of his hair. He was about to lead Leo into the store, but a hand on his shoulder stopped him. It could only mean that Daniel recognized them despite the disguises. To be honest, a hat and sunglasses probably weren't enough."You do know I can recognize you, do you?" said Daniel with a small smirk. "Years of experience. Anyhow, I would like to talk to the two of you. I've heard some reports that a spy of mine was bothering you. I would like to apologize in his place."

Leo felt his brother stop as they were just about to enter the store and knew they had been found out. He gave a grimace at Daniel's words. "Raki or...whoever that guy was should be here to appologize himself! He had no right doing what he did!" he exclaimed boldly, but he wasn't about to let what the boy had done go so easily.

Daniel couldn't say he was surprised that Leo knew who he was talking about. "True, he has acted out of line and he has been punished accordingly. I don't know what got into him," he said. "I'll make sure he won't cause trouble for you in the future." He turned, ready to leave."Wait, Gramps. I know that's not why you're really here," Asher said without thinking. Now that the subject was brought up, he felt that he needed to know a few things. "Your spy... he claimed to be Raki Damican. He also said you know his story. What are you hiding?"Daniel faced the brothers again. "He was telling the truth. That boy is your long-lost brother," he admitted after a few moments. "Honestly, he has such a habit of ruining surprises. Your reunion wasn't supposed to be until the tour."

Leo didn't want to talk about Raki, he only brought the boy up because he was still mad at him. But it seemed Daniel had more to talk about Raki and there were still questions he knew Asher was still pondering. Leo tugged on Asher's arm a little and looked up at him. "Maybe we should go some place where we can all talk?" he asked his brother softly.

"There's a coffee shop nearby. We can talk there," Daniel said, leading the way. He could tell that his grandson was very anxious. It wouldn't surprise him. From the last time he saw him, it was apparent that Asher had remembered Raki and clearly missed him despite having almost no memory of him. Now that Raki had been foolish enough to reveal himself to the brothers, it was time the old man explained things a little early. For example, why Raki was alive now.

Leo nodded and followed his brother to the coffee shop, finding a seat right next to his brother and listening intently to what Daniel would have to say next. "So why didn't you tell Ash about Raki right away? I would think that would be one of the first things to tell him!"

Daniel sighed. "You must recall that Asher didn't recognize me at first. The surpise I felt made me forget to mention Raki," he explained to the brothers. "Well, in any case, you now know that he's alive and well and under my care. I suppose you want to know why that is?"

Leo wasn't sure if he wanted to hear this story. If that really was Raki then Asher would want to spend pretty much every waking moment with his real brother. Leo was terrified Asher wouldn't want him anymore. He placed a slightly shaky hand on Asher's knee to reassure himself that his brother really was there. "Yes....we do." Leo said reluctantly.

Asher was anxious. He almost couldn't believe that his grandfather confirmed that Raki was alive. It seemed logically impossible, and yet he had seen the kid with his own eyes and he had definitely been alive and somewhat well. "Just get on with it," he said with great impatience.Daniel settled himself and prepared to tell them what some might call an old man story. "Soon after Asher had been shipped off to the nearest orphanage, for a reason I'm sure was a mistake, I had gone to the hospital as soon as I was notified that my son and his wife were dead and their baby was barely alive," he said, registering the shock on his grandson's face. "Yes, Raki never died. The paramedics were able to get him on breathing support when they rescued you, but he was on the verge. When I visited him, I witnessed what could only be a miracle: a doctor and some friends were collectively healing him. I'm sure they had seen babies die before, but it turned out one of the doctors was new on the job and had panicked when Raki was really slipping away. Over time, Raki eventually became well and he grew up to be that troublesome boy you saw."
