Lark was comforted by Devon's reassurance and the mugs of hot cocoa her mother constantly poured for her later when the conversation took it longest pause Lark yawned and leaned back against Devon a silent signal

Devon saw Lark was tired and rose. "I think it's time we left for tonight. Thanks for letting us come." he said.
They looked a little sad but agreed, hugging them both before they left. "Come back anytime,. okay?" Alice said, hugging Lark tight.
Devon chuckled. "we will."

Lark hugged them back just as tightly as she headed with Devon back toward the car even though it pained her to leave when she just had them back. "I promise." She told her mother

The drive home was a quiet one. Devon was relieved to have his Lark back. Now the only other worries were Fred and Kila as well as wedding plans that most likely would be coming up soon.
It wasn't long before they got home.

It wasn't long before Lark fell asleep during the drive home it seemed to be the most peaceful sleep she has had in weeks, she was just emotional drained

Devon pulled in to the house and carried Lark from the car into the house. He was glad she was finally getting some rest.
he put her in bed and stayed up a little longer, just watching her sleep before going to be himself

It was the first night since coming home from fairy that she slept a night through untroubled by nightmares, she would have gotten her full eight hours if it wasn't for Bo making a surprise visit with Sheryl in tow

Bo banged on Devon and Lark's bedroom door. Theresa had let them in, as she and her husband usually got up early. Sheryl was waiting down stairs. With Lark still traumatized(or so they thought) they planned a trip out in hopes that it would get her out of her shell.
Devon's mother agreed to the plan and a chance to ask Devon where he and Lark had gone to last night. They didn't get back until really late and she didn't want to bother them.
Devon was sleeping hard. Harder than he had in since Lark was rescued. He slept lightly to comfort Lark when she had nightmares, but he didn't have to tonight and his body took advantage of it. He was dead to the world at the moment and didn't hear Bo at the door.

Lark moaned getting up slowly in a zombie like manner, she was going to kill the owner of that knock if it wasn't an emergency. She opened the door glaring daggers at the offender who happened to be Bo of all people. "This better be good, I was in my happy place."

Bob blinked at the response. She expected Lark to still be in bed and Devon to answer. She look at Lark. The girl was glaring at her. Actually glaring! She grinned and hugged her friend tightly.
"Lark! I'm so happy you're okay!" she practically squealed.

"I am too now can I go back to my happy place now. "Lark spoke slowly getting out of the she-wolf's death grip about to close the door, even though they were friends, Lark liked her sleep a lot and wanted nothing to more to go back to sleep in Devon's arms

Bo grinned,. "Can't go to sleep! There is shopping to do. You've been sleeping for week!~" She grabbing her wrist and pulled her to the closet. "Put some cloth on, before Devon arises from the dead." she giggled.

"Bo I should let Devon kill you." Lark muttered throwing on a nice sweater and jean that hugged her tight and showed her figure an outfit Devon would commit murder for

"I love you too!" she called, leaving the room. When Lark came out her and Bo went down to see Sheryl and Theresa. More hugs went around as they saw lark alert and somewhat grumpy.

It wasn't like Lark wasn't happy to see everyone she was she just wished that they had gotten her at a more reasonable hour like at 10:00 not 9:15 and she hugged everyone back despite her annoyance
