The song playing was absolutely absurd. Freya loved absurd music! As soon as they were on the dance floor, she'd let go of Herryk's arm and began to swish her hips to the music. There were some of their friends on the dance floor already! She rose her hands up and waved, while her hips did not, in fact, lie about her ability to dance.  She didn't realize Herryk was behind her until she felt all of him make his presence known, and she straightened up and turned around. The jacket was gone, and he was hip thrusting. Freya was.. appreciative.  And all too happy to turn back around and give him something to hip thrust at. Prom was so much fun!

That was far more fun! Calder was considerate enough to actually interact with the priestess in dancing, and not just enjoy himself. Though Heidla was still unsure whether there was no wrong way to dance, she still viewed it as a fixed combination of movements to be repeated. It was also slightly reminiscent of the craft of interpretation, though in that case you had to interpret movements of your partner to follow them without visual rupture and discord. Heidla was slightly insecure she was not following Calder's lead close enough; and afraid to step on his... hoof? (Actually she never paid attention to that before). Her wings also proved to be quite a nuisance she never expected them to be. And her main problem was that with her upbringing and her view of seeing things she was nether physically nor emotionally ready to let things go. She was too preoccupied with her own uprightness. Too focused on the impression she might give. Too self-centred. Too mindful of the presence of a partner. In other words, she was just overwhelmed. Then came the spinning that gave her a pleasant shiver and an even more pleasant vacuum in her head. She felt so light (even on the border of lightness that was not fit for a priestess). " Do you have proms often?" she giggled. "I guess I can grow to actually like dancing". She blushed a little bit. Should she say such a thing? Wasn't she supposed to act remote and distant, as a priestess of a powerful Order should? " You know I wanted to tell you since our last meeting, I changed my vision of your world. I now find it quite likeable". She thought about other horsemen and the way they treated Amityville students as second-rate scarelings. No, she would be different.

And then the music changed. Tseng tilted his head as he heard it. There was something about it that made him want to move his feet. Move to the beat. Or something like that. And so, he began to... do something.

"AAAAAAAIIIEEEEEEEEEE!"  Freya heard the song change and hopped off out of her crouch, squealing happily as the rest of her friends started piling onto the dance floor and shuffling the hell out of the place. She ran around Herryk in circles, before bouncing from person to person. She ran all the way to the photobooth to try and gather any remaining friends, but all she saw was Titus posing with Riyo. So, instead, she just smacked him right across the head. Returning to the dance floor, she tugged on Herryk's arms, and pulled him in. "Come ons, baby boils, now we shuffle! Yeh follows Freya's example now!" At first, she did it slow and easy, so he could grasp the dance.

"Yea yea! That's it Eisheth!" And now the music changed and even more people were getting into it. Mei laughed as she continue to dance, watching those around her dancing silly or just awkwardly gyrating. Spotting Alex out of the corner of her eye, she help up a finger towards Eisheth before... 'ing over to Alex. "Pardon me Yin, but I am stealing your boilfriend for a dance." She grabbed Alex onto the floor over to where she had left Eisheth. And begun to dance again!

Herryk's expression turned, and he looked a little crazy, but he took Freya's lead regardless of how utterly ridiculous she looked. :T

Amarus thought for a moment. "So you don't know who covered you in glitter? Curious. I think I saw Jack with some in hand earlier--"
Before Amarus really had time to think about it, and consider asking Tseng if he'd like to stalk Jack Bdown to check if the artist boil had any notion of how to remove glitter, Tseng had started to... dance? Again? Or something. Amarus became acutely aware of the music, again, and covered her ears.
No amount of covering could ease the suffering, however. She considered hiding under the punch table to avoid hearing and seeing it. "Is this some kind of group experience...?" she asked Tseng, skeptical, crossing her arms over her chest. Oh, cranky Amarus.
