Coruscant - Dungeon Catacombs > Prison Block "Now is that really neccessary, High Lord Esuritio?" came a deep voice from the darkness, "We spent so much time cleaning out the stench of the Jedi, I'd prefer not to have it filled with the stench of my own men." The Emperor emerged from the dark corridor, his cloak swishing behind him. "So what do we have here?" he said as he approached Skandar, "What is this man's crime? Why was he imprisoned in the first place?" A knight stepped forward and bowed, "Master, he murdered one of our operatives in the criminal underground and was brought in for questioning." "Hmmm. Is this true?" Aiden asked as he turned to face Skandar.

Is this true?" Aiden asked as he turned to face Skandar. Skandar was coming back around when he noticed the dark aura around him. Without answering he gathered his chi and flexed his fingers. When his chi was at its maximum extent, he elbowed the guards holding him. In the split second that followed, he did a complex martial arts move with his arms, both going the same way since they were bound, and the moisture in the air collesced into onemajor stream and flew toward the emperor. If it hit, he wasn't sure. In the next instance he capsized onto the floor in an exegetes sleep.

Coruscant Temple - Training Grounds
Zara had been pacing the halls awaiting Esuritio's return. Her ears pricked up when she recognized his force signature coming nearer.
Master... is everything alright? I sensed... a disturbance of sorts. she thought to him.
She wasn't quite sure what it was, but everything had happened so fast and it seemed that things were back to normal now. Good, she thought to herself. Now I will be able to finally begin my training.
Going back to one of the training halls, Zara sat and continued to diligently peruse the texts she had been instructed to read.

Screaming Phoenix - Mandalore
As she made her way down the hall she spoke to Kad telepathically "Secure the captives and let's get back to Tython..we can sort this out when we get home" releasing him from the Force meld her shoulders began to droop..she was exhausted..so much had happened in their short time on this planet..she was emotionally drained..her thoughts swirled about like a kaleidescope..Davth, the Lockhearts, the twi'lek woman in the cell next to their friend, Vic..her head swam with all there was to sort out..and yes..the holocron..the case still pressed against the firm flesh of her thigh..it had seemed to come alive in her encounter with the Sith spirit - it was a power that almost frightened her "What was Davth thinking?" reaching her chamber she opened the door using the Force and began removing Mesh'la's armor, overwhelmed with a sadness she could not readily explain..she gingerly unhooked the holocron in it's case from her belt and placed it in her drawer surrounding it with a force barrier to make it invisible and undetectable to all but the strongest in the Force. She then placed Mesh'la's armor in her locker and made her way to the shower where she let the hot water pour down on her and felt her body relax in the steamy mist....
..when she had finished she fairly crawled to her bed lay there until sleep finally came..a restless sleep..combining memories from her past with the events of the last few days......

Mandalore - Streets of Keldabe
Each step was a battle in these winds, the allyways were barren execpt for the wreckage of ships and ruined pieces of the walls that once sheltered this ally.
Nearing towards his goal with every step, Vic couldn't help but reflect on what has happened. Could things have gone differently? He wondered, this single thought alone was enough to occupy his time. Vic lost so much and gained far too little. This was a start of a new chapter for himself, but this new chapter will have even more blood than the last.
Vic was almost there, the building was so close and yet so far. If these winds weren't present it would be a breeze. But the winds wasn't as strong in areas where there was a high wall.

Screaming Phoenix - en route to Tython
Tossing and turning..the images flashing thru her dreams she woke to the sound of her Master's voice in her head...
"Don't you remember my lessons, Elyria?" he said through grunts of effort. With an expertly timed backflip, he created some distance between them. "Keep it simple, my dear."
She sat up with a start, the thin blanket covering her falling to her waist...it was hours before dawn...she knew she wouldn't sleep any longer. Climbing from the bed, she walked slowly to the window of her quarters...looking out at a star-filled sky..the dim light silhouetting her slender frame..she wondered at this restlessness..these thoughts invading her dreams....was it all the holocron?
grabbing a simple robe she wrapped it tightly around her..she knew the crew would be sleeping - the ship most likely on auto...she made her way to the helm, the calming view of the sky from the bridge had always given her a sense of peace..something she desperately needed at the moment......there was a lone Pilot at the controls...carefully monitoring the sky for any and all activity
Sai'bacca:"Master Stone..unusual to see you at this hour..is there something you need?"
Placing her small hand on his shoulder and looking down with a smile as she tucked a wanton strand of hair behind her ear "Just to gaze at the beauty of space..of the Galaxy at peace" she spoke softly as she raised her eyes to the view before her "I'm sorry if I've disturbed you"
Sai'bacca: "Not at all" It was actually a little too quiet for my tastes" he laughed "There's some Ardees over there, sit and have a cup with me..it's been awhile since we've had a chance to talk"
she nodded and made her way to the steaming brew..pouring herself a cup, she sat down in the seat next to his...they talked until the ship began to stir to life...jumping up she took both their cups "I'd better go..I'm not dressed to meet the crew" she winked and and placed her free hand on his shoulder as she made her way from the bridge and headed back to her chambers.....

Esuritio shook his head and wiped his brow.
::I can't fathom why a simple beast such as that could of escaped. Are our soldiers really that incompetent? If so, I have high doubts about them aiding the war effort:: He thought to himself. Feelings of rage and discomfort battled within his mind. He wanted nothing more than to see every single Je'daii dead.
He buried his emotions, the time had come. Zara Kelvyr will become a Sith Knight. She has potential beyond those he has trained to date.
It is time for Esuritio to fulfill his wishes and hers combined. He will mold her into the perfect weapon... Loyal to him. Bound to him.
He dusted off his robes, ensuring he kept his respectable appearance, despite the fact he'd been crawling around in the catacombs of the temple, hunting a primitive beast.
With a wave of his hand, the doors to the training grounds fluidly slid open, revealing Zara stood in the middle, dressed in her tyro robes, waiting for his arrival.
Smiling, he approached her and quickly offered his apologies.
"Apprentice, I apologise. An urgent matter arose and I had to deal with it. It is of no matter now. I am here and your training begins now."
He walked over to one of the many cabinets that adorned the walls, that only the masters held the key to. He opened the cabinet and withdrew from it two training sabers. These lightsabers have been modified to cause minor sting wounds. Laceration or severing of limbs are not possible with these.
Smirking, he tossed one to his apprentice.
"Before I can begin. I will test your resolve. There is much to be done to begin your training. Ignite your blade, apprentice and attempt to strike me. Show me that you're not going to fail and die like those thugs I rescued you from! Attack!"
He ignited his own saber and stood ready, brandishing it in one hand, awaiting his new apprentices attack.

As soon as he brandished his blade towards her, Zara's reflexes took over and she immediately ignited her saber and held it across as if to block an attack.
She had never used one of these weapons before, but as she held it in her hand it was as though the space between her and the lightsaber was gone; that the saber was now an extension of her arm and the motions felt fluid and natural.
When he told her to attempt to strike him, she feigned an attack to the left but quickly made a slash to the right. Though she was rather petite and her attacks not very strong, she moved with agility and deadly accuracy.
And, she knew that when she was allowed a real lightsaber, the force of her attack wouldn't matter as long as she landed a blow on her opponent.
You will soon learn not to compare me with that scum, Master. she thought to him, a deadly smirk growing on her face.
Her eyes glowed with a certain bloodlust. Soon, she would get the power she desired...

Apon waking 10-15 minutes later, Skandar found himself not only back in a cage but wrapped in chains to keep him from moving. These chains were imbued with high voltage energy that would cause him pain if he tried to move too much. He didn't notice anyone at first but as he looked around with his eyes, he noticed a dark presence looming at the edge of the cage.

With widened eyes, he jumped back, his apprentices blade barely missing his chest.
"Such... Fluidity... Natural skill..." He murmured. He could not believe it. She truly was so strong in the force. He could not be forgiving either. He had to push her to the limit. Break her chains. Ensure she knew she had to strive for what she dreamed of. Work for it until she couldn't bear it anymore.
"Impressive, apprentice. Perhaps I shall take back what I said... If you can strike me!" He said, in a joke-mocking tone.
Huffing, he kicked off from his heel and flew forward, brandishing his blade by his side, going low into a spinning strike, aiming to sting her knees.

Zara's pride from receiving praise from her master allowed him to catch her off guard, easily allowing him to strike her. Letting out a cry mostly from shock, the blow to the knees forced her to fall to the ground.
She ignored the pain and pretended to be more injured than she actually was, using this time to readjust her grip on the saber and plan her next attack.
Zara remained on the floor for several seconds. She appeared defeated and helpless, panting and feigning a look of pain, but in a flash she quickly bolted up and thrust her blade in a forward jab towards his chest.

Screaming Phoenix - Holding Cell - Davth's Mind
The togruta stood there his hands around the hilt of his double bladed saber, his mouth was drawn back in a tight scowl, and his eyes were locked on his opponent. The man was strange, he wore a dark hooded robe with dark rune-ed armored plates, it reached to its waist producing and igniting a saber with a blood red blade. The togruta sighed and ignited his own blade, the end pointing towards his foe was blue, and the one towards his back amber. "This is my body, you will leave!" Even with his foes face concealed in the shadows he swore it smiled and laughed "Where would you have me go worm? There is only one body here, and two spirits one of us is going to have to die!" he charged forward closing the gap bringing his saber down in an arching slash. Davth spun his own blade blocking the slash with his yellow blade.
"As I said, the body is mine, you will be leaving." he over powered the attacker and landed a solid kick into the beings chest. It stumbled backwards before recomposing and raising its hand fingers out stretched as if to cast lightning "Raaaah! Damn your friend, I will enjoy killing her, and i'll make sure you are watching." Davth turned the corner of his mouth up with a smile adjusting the grip on his saber, with a twist it separated into a pair of sabers. "It would seem the tides have turned now, with out your powers over the force you are no match for me in combat." he spun the blades and started to press the offensive.
To the rest of the world Davth's body was kneeling eyes closed with his hand on his knees.

"Do you know why I've kept you alive?" the Dark Lord's deep voice said from the shadows. Getting no immediate response, he continued, "I can sense considerable potential in you." Now the Emperor was pacing slowly in front of the prisoner like a predator in his own right, his black cloak sliding across the floor like a serpent behind him. "I don't hold any illusions that a creature such as yourself can be brought to heel and controlled, but I am wondering what one could gain by an alliance."

Mandalore - Star Port of Keldabe
Vic walked through the star port, everyone there was making room for him. Both men and women were stepping aside with a look of horror on their face. Takeing each foot and going to by step down the corridor. At the end was a security checkpoint, where two gurads already had blasters armed and at the ready.
Almost seemingly reaching through the force with his eyes, everyone was suddenly pushed up against the wall. There were yells and screams of fear as they tried to helplessly fight against Vic's will. Continueing down where he was heading. He passed the two guards that had there blasters drawn, the two were screaming curses and making oaths about killing him.
How pitiful. Vic thought, before raising his free hand and snapped his fingers. The two guards necks were crushed instantaneously. He let those two guards fall to the ground dead, and upon his exit there were horrid screams being made. People were scambling away from the two body's as Vic let the people go.
Vic soon came upon a landing platform with a small transport. It probubly was a smuggler ship. But it didn't matter. He made his way into the ship and didn't bother to check and see if anyone or anything was on board. All that mattered was the ship still worked. Walking into the cockpit, Vic threw his shoulder weight onto the co-pilot seat. Closing the entrence ramp, he started the ship and flew away from the port. Making his way into orbit of the planet.
