Excell said nothing ....as he went back over to his own forge and looked at the fires. This was what the third transformation ...since when have this started happening. He would cough a couple of times before he would return ...took one more look at Tsuki and walked back to his forge.
It would be his daughter that would speak.
"You grew a tail?" "What in the hell?"
Tirrani would declares loudly and point.
No, that wasn't normal ...neither was the other transformations, though there was suppose to be some changes with the matching of auras ....as one gain their pokemon's fighting spirit in them. Though this one took it to another level ...as the girl stopped for a moment and started to giggle.
What happens when the pokeball was taken out ....a hole in the pants with no tail in it.
Excell would come back over again ....he was looking at a place over Tsuki's head on this one. He knew if he looked at the kid he would find himself unable to say it.
"With that, you now have the ability to join the battles as a 7th pokemon. Your hp and stats will match that of your starter pokemon, but be aware, it won't work if your pokemon is fainted or dead.
Also, you can be knocked out in such a form, and your pokemon as well as you render defenseless so make sure you think about what you are doing before you do it in such a situation."
The man would warn.
"Though, you will have to think of how to sync your moves with that of your pokemon. ANd the best way to do that is in battle, so ....."
Tirrani will jump in then.
"He will be battling me for that right?"
The girl would declare with a big smile on her face.

Luckily for Tsuki, he wore a lab coat. Nobody would see the hole unless he took it off, which he never did. "Well, I'm careful using Infinem in any case. I won't be losing him anytime soon." he said stubbornly. No, he was crazy careful with the Mankey. It'd be the day ended the day he sent him against a psychic type or something.
Letting the blades slide out of the gloves, he answered "Yeah, a deals a deal."

Tirrani would smile happily as she would draws the smaller quarter staff from her clip on her shoulder ....as she would pull on it ...making the three halves snap into place to become one solid pole. She would twirl it once twice in a show of practice before she would bring it back to her front as she would draw front of her .....and clip in the small indention near the center of the bar a pokeball.
This shall be a lot of fun.
She would tell Tsuki as she places it inside of there ....and like with everyone else it would seem she would have a transformation. Though it wasn't as severe as Tsuki as her hair that was black anyway would gain a more greenish tint to it, and a single dot of yellow on it.
Her clothing would turn yellow all the way down to her feet, with the upper portion of her sleeves gaining the same greenish black tint of her hair, and the belt around her waist following. She would look like a young woman with the flowing robe of a priestess in that moment.
A smile would come one her face.
"Let's have a good time together."

Well, figuring this place was Steel Type oriented, Tsuki would guess she was steel type? Yeah. Maybe. He didn't know, the Pokedex didn't work for humans! But, he could fight at least and he knew fighting type had an advantage.
Kneeling down, he jumped foward to attack. His tail had been used a an extra limb, let him him with only a little more force. His claws slid back into their place, leaving behind leftover energy that accumulated over his gloves. Taking a deep breath, he sent his right fist foward. Not knowing an actual name for it, he'd figure he'd end up calling it Focus Impact.

Tirrani wouldn't hesitate as the Staff would twirl once in her hands.....as he came forward, she would drop her stance. Lower her weapon towards the middle of his chest as she would actually jab it forward as he charges.
Really, how silly was he?
SHe was using a long range weapon, while his worked for a distances. Any obvious motion of a forwards stride would make her attack to keep the distances as she would counter with a blow to his stomach as she used a Hard hit.
If done correctly it would be like she had just hit a pool ball with the power of her jab at his center.
"So, I take it we are working in silences for this fight? No witty banter?"

"Possibly. My teacher wants me to hurry back and chances are I'll return anyways to challenge the gym after." Tsuki said, attention more on the fighting than the talking. In a real fight scenario, it'd be better to focus on the actual fight. And this proved true for Tsuki.
What Tirrani didn't get was that he jumped. He wasn't coming straight at her, but rather at an angle. This allowed him to get over the pole and punch her squarely in the shoulder like a fist full of Super Effective.
Landing behind her, having not being able to stop his trajectory, skidded to a stop before raising his fists for defense. The pole grazed his side, moving him a bit to the side. That was why he didnt punch her center, nor accidently tackle her. Oh the shenanigens that would happen if that happened. If the match was to continue after one move this was unneeded. However he didn't know that. Weakest member? He'd prove Barney wrong.
Super effective
(15-15)+(8-4)=4x2=8 dmg
Failed counter
8x2=16 dmg
Tirrani has 5HP left

With that single move, the entire battle would be brought to a stand still ....as the girl was sent rocking backwards, but the boy had made one mistake. They aren't pokemon ..no matter what power flows through them. They weren't made of one type or the other, and that didn't distinguish their power in battle ....as the mistake was plan as she shook it off ...letting bits of blood drop to the ground beside her.
Her eyes would locks on his.
"This is power given ....and your weapon has taken on their strength, but don't confuse yourself with a pokemon. You aren't one."
She would tell him suddenly as the boy would see that his attack had none of the bit he was looking for ...as Tirrani would take her staff and sweep both of his feet from underneath him in a move that would shock anyone. Tsuki would have to come back down afterwards, and that was the biggest moment of his weakness.

"I'll remember tha-" Tsuki said, before being interrupted by Tirrani. He raised one leg before the sweeping, pulling it back to fix his stance while the staff attack was moved back a foot. He had managed to block that attack, at least. He guessed it was good there weren't types for humans then. That was there wouldn't be any psychic pokemon trolling him beyond belief. Still, he knew his luck would run out eventually, so he would try to just keep his goal for this match simple: learn to fight and not die in one. Besides she probably had more experience than he. Tsuki's luck would run out, probably soon. So he'd jump to one side before letting his blades slink out. Then Tsuki would send one in a slashing motion towards her arm.

The bladed counter-attack would work. Cutting almost to the bone in that instant as the girl cried out in pain ...as she brought her own arm back to her .....the pain making her now hold her weapon ...in one arm in a form of defense.
This was such an embarrassment to be losing to such a rookie, but there was nothing she could do about it ....as she simply took a few steps backwards holding the staff in her defense with her left hand ...since the slash had caught her on the right.
Her eyes were narrowed as she waited for him to commence the next attack.

His blades returned into their sockets as he redied his next attack. He would have to defend next turn, if the battle continued any longer than it was currently. Feeling almost bad to do this, but he figured she'd pass out and that woul just numb the pain until she was brought to an infirmary, he'd go in for one more attack. Sending both fists foward with one step foward, he used Focus Impact! ((I'm assuming people don't die in battle?))

Tirrani saw it coming. Her guard couldn't get back up in time as she closed her eyes expecting to feel the pain of the blow, but what she wasn't expecting was what happen next. A rapid motion to her side .....as the hammer and the bulk of a man easily three times her size would get in between her and Tsuki's blow.
The hammer already infused his pokemon's power .....Excell would let the attack hit against him and sneer downwards at Tsuki.
"I think this match is over in your favor .....take your item from her and leave, before I get involved in this."
He declares dangerously.
He had seen Tirrani lose before, but normally, the fighter had enough sense to give her a chance to surrender when it gets down and dangerous. This wasn't the case with this boy, whom continued the fight even when it's clear that she couldn't continue it.
His daughter wasn't a pokemon.
Nurse Joy couldn't instantly heal her ....as he took a deep breathe before speaking again. HIs rage barely contained.
"A injury takes time to heal, and it's not an instant thing like with Nurse Joy. Tirrani won't be able to fight for days after this is over to recover from the pain ....and so you know, you would have to return to your own lands to heal as well.
It would take days depending on the injury to heal it.
Also, I should let it be known, that normally you won't die in battle like this ...your pokemon would take the final blow and faint and so will you. What happens to you after you faints, depends on your location, but it's rare when you wake up with everything the same as when you passed out."
He would warn Tsuki.

That was... both unexpected and expected. He should've taken into account that her father would rush in. Then he didn't expect to finish the match without taking a hit. At the time he was only thinking about proving Barney wrong. That he wasn't weak. He gave a glance at Tirrani before looking back at Excell. Maybe not having power wasn't what Barney meant by being weak. "Thank you...." he muttered, shame creeping into his voice. This was just the same thing as the Zangoose. Except Tsuki was the Mankey and she was the Zangoose. Crystal would nudge her trainer, before saying ">C'mon, you'll be late.<" Looking down at the Piplup, he'd nod. The other probably didn't know about the Pokedex and they didn't need to. With that he left the gym then the town, unsure as to if he should return for a badge. A battle with Excell would be more dangerous now because of this. 1/5

Tsuki kept walking, thinking about the battle. Maybe learning the difference between an enemy and an opponent would be the first thing. The first step. Everyone at the Academy was an opponent, just to keep things competitive. That meant mercy and holding back was nessisary.
Muggers, wild pokemon, and idiots who wanted the organization destroyed... he supposed in the long run were enemies. Still, there was a grey area in between. The problem was finding it.

Nothing. No wild Pokemon attacked him. Maybe it was for the best. Tsuki didn't feel like battling anything right now. Just to get back to class and end this infernal mission once and for all! Too many times had he been pushed around and when he was on top... once... he was still wrong.
Frustrated, he'd keep walking beside his Piplup. There had to be a way to get this training thing right. When he joined he thought he'd feel like a hero or something. Now it was a sham.
However when thungs were down they could only go up.

They were gettiing closer to the boat now, that's what Tsuki figured at least. He had gone up and down this route enough to guess how long it took for him to walk. It was normally pretty desolate for him, only occasionally running into some juju obsessed Piplup or something.
Walking further, Tsuki said "If I ever forget to restrain, I give you permission to use an attack on me."
Crystal nodded, running her flippers together almost menacingly. Muahaha.
