Do not mock the new chaos lord! The new chaos lord is teh awesome! I love how you can upgrade him with a Manreaper in campaign XD, it looks so cool! Shame it doesnt have any special abilities, even though it is a weapon of nurgle stare


Actually, it fits in with the Word Bearers fluff, who are not Chaos Undivided, but more or less Chaos Everything, as they pay peity to all gods of Chaos in equal amount.

I havent really used the prince yet. The only thing ive done are mess around with the necrons, tau, and then the harlequins, grey knights, and heavy weapons teams (which are quite nice I might add).

Anyone use those attack scarabs? They are fun, but they arent as invulnerable as previews made them out to be. I went out to attack a few squads of space marines and they killed quite a few before I got there, and then after that it took them a while to kill them.

Aye, that would be an accursed Crozius, as the second level close combat weapon that can be unlocked. Right now I'm playing for chaos and my first priority is to get his armour together, then worry about the weapons.

Same with the Eldar really, I made my Farseer more durable before I added in better weapons. Warp Spiders made the game super easy for me, warpo! in, Death-Spinnaz! or Haywire on the desired target, warpo! out and another battle done.

Fun fact: Rhino transports no longer cost precious vehicle points when building them, instead you have a building limit of three. Meaning that Relic finally saw that the transports of both marine armies were pretty useless and a compelete waste of precious vehicle points.

Not true.
Posessed in a Rhino, sit it in the enemy base until you have 3 up there, then when the shell cracks, the funny killer yolk splashes out.

Thats pure Cynical genius XD. Captain Angelos when upgraded with the Daemon Hammer does 502 melee damage and 206 ranged damage with the Melta Pistol o.o.

what pisses me off is that they limited it to 3 warp spider squads, the bastards. I hope they didnt do anymore limiting on any more of the aspects did they!?!?!?!

oh, I tried Necron farming, it didnt work, as a matter of fact it hindered my cause since it revived everyone at half health, and appearently my enemy decided to attack at that moment...tricky bastards. Thats one thing about the AI, because they are the computer, they know what your doing, when ever I reassurected my troops to try to farm, thats when they would attack, they would sit in their own base when I didnt. Also, when I use stealth units, they stay away from them, as if they knew I was there. For instance, while using cloaked webway gates I was planning on ambushing my enemies while they talked towards my base, this did not happen. They just sat there, they wouldnt even come out to capture the strategic points and critical points that I was sitting next two, and not a single detector unit in their army...

Well in all honesty, units that are that good need to be limited. This is what I've gathered thus far: (Unit name + number units you can have)

Space Marines.
- Grey Knights 1
- Terminators (of each variant) 1
- Whirlwind 1
- Predator 2
- Land Raider 1

Chaos.
- Possessed Marines 1
- Obliterators 1
- Predators 2

Eldar.
- Harlequins 3
- Warp Spiders 3
- Fire Prisms 2

Imperial Guard.
- Kasrkin 1
- Leman Russ 2
- Basilisk 3

Can't say what I've found out about the Orks as of yet, they aren't my faves. However, I must say that the hard hitting units have now been made even tougher while at the same time being more limited in their use. Most of these units have also gone up in unit/vehicle cost as well, further limiting the amount of units.

this is the gayest s**t ever, now im thinking I want to uninstall dark crusade, even though I know I wont. What the hell are they thinking!?!?! No one can do good with one kasrkin squad, gaurdsmen get ******** to easily, they need more firepower! same with possessed, thats lame, chaos are already lacking in power, all they have are fast close combat units!

Oh-kay, uh-huh. Oh come the ******** on now! Balancing is done for the sake of the game. Things have changed for good or bad, meaning that the high-end units need a cap on their numbers. Can't have Kasrkin or Terminator rushes again. Besides, the aim of the game is to combine units for the best result, winning the game with one unit alone is not how it's supposed to be played*.

And as I mentioned before, but nobody seemed to notice, the hard hitting units are tougher now, with more damage to deal and more hitpoints and morale to absorb enemy crap with. ZIf you don't like it, write Relic an angry letter about how unfair or overpowered the game is. But I doubt that you will uninstall it. You can't. 3nodding

* Why yes I sound like a ******** hypocrite, as I played single player Eldar with just Warp Spiders. But I am referring to the multiplayer aspect here.

Its true and what do you mean Guardsmen lack firepower? Have you even looked at the Heavy Weapons squad? 4 squads of autocannons pwn khorne berzerkers and have you seen how quickly that lascannon fires?
Hell im kinda glad you can only have one of each squad of terminators, it makes more sense fluff-wise seeing as they are reserved for the elite and it makes the Landraider a bit more usefull because I can pop in some close combat termies and not make the rest of em walk.

I would rather have 4 lemun russ's than two good ones. Basilisks already had a limit of 3 so that I dont mind, although I would like it so that I could have as many as the pop allows...
