Let's have some fun! This beat is sick!
Special grumbled angrily as the laser seemed to be ineffective. What use was having a super epic fan if it didn't do anything? She looked down at her fan, trying to come up with another idea.

Ashtara looked down at the remnants of her corset, about enough to barely cover the chest.

The laser hadn't been enough, but maybe the sharp bladed edge of the fan would. Spreading the fan out, Special flung it out of her hand like a boomerang. The fan arced through the air and headed towards Ashtara. Hopefully this would have a greater effect than the laser did.

Ashtara tried to dodge, with a limbo-like move, but the truth is, she had spent years trapped inside Emmma, with no movement on her own.
Honestly? She forgot to walk.
She tried to dodge falling back, but the metal blades sunk deep in her flesh.

Laura watched the battle intently, being able to pick up every detail. Ashtara was powerful and it seemed like they would need her help. Concentrating deeply, she focused on returning back to her physical form. Nothing happened. A short moment of panic filled her as Laura realized that she was stuck like this. That panic dissipated as the voice of Wollowitz seemed to sound out of nowhere, saying, "You can't return to normal until you have all your magic. Some of it remains in that battery." Laura willed her ethereal being towards the battery. She tried to reconnect with her magic, but it would not return. It seemed that the battery was sealed to keep her magic in now. She had no way to reach her magic unless someone opened that battery.

She stood there, ripping the fan out of her flesh and dropping it to the ground, before eyeing the magic-inna-can.
Oh yeeeess...
She flew with suprising speed to the can and grabbed it.
Sealed.
She didn't open it.
She wanted to absorb it.

Laura watched as Ashtara approached the battery. This was her chance. Ashtara would have to open it to get at the magic, since it was sealed and thus prevented the magic from getting out. Once it was open, it would instantly return to Laura. She just had to wait for the battery to be opened.

Shrugging, Ashtara stuffed the battery down her...corset, for that would be the ONE place no one would grab.

Laura felt her hope disappear as Ashtara took the battery and did not open. She had to get that battery, but she couldn't get her magic without a body and she couldn't get a body without all her magic. This was quite a dilemma.
Special extended her arm and willed for the fan to return. Just as Dalia had said it would do, the fan suddenly spun into the air and flew right into her hand. The fans bladed edge had hurt the demon before, so perhaps it would work again. She prepared herself for another throw of the fan.
