Love you though I may...  Patrick happily kissed him back, following Taran without a wave to the women. Except, when they were just out of ear-shot he muttered, "Run with me?" before winking at Taranieth.
That said, he stopped and half-turned to face them again. "Oh, by the way: we won't be needing bridesmaids. We're having a private ceremony and none of you are invited. Bye!"
He grinned at Taran, pulling them both into a run before they could be caught.
...I have several reservations. I refuse to use toys that will make you think of another person: only room for two in our bed at such times. You and Me.

Love you though I may... Patrick was smiling in agreement until Taranieth mentioned that they'd asked about Adrian. He clenched his fist, but ws careful not to clench the one holding Taranieth's hand. "If they thought there was anything between Adrian and I, they wouldn't have spent time pursuing me, would they? So they were just asking to get to you..."
He looked up at his fiance, expression changing to one of apology. "I'm sorry. I left you alone with them."

Love you though I may... Patrick kissed his cheek. "Thank you." He smiled back, just as warm and happy. "They definitely won't be able to interfere with us." He dropped Taran's hand so he could throw his arms around him in a hug.
"Have I told you I love you recently?" he murmured, mouth close to Taran's ear.
