Melody gasped with wide eyes, both hands covering her mouth. "It was horrible! Did you see what she was making me wear when we came back?! She made me try on worse ones! That was the only decent enough one!" She shuttered again and wrapped her arms around herself.
Mabel was feeling slightly better now. It wasn't like she was mad at James, so the interaction did help relieve her anger. She continued to lean against the tree and watched him go back into the house. When she could no longer see him that was when she finally went after him. She waved to Danyael on the way up to James room and just stood in the doorway.

Toby frowned, "Yes I did. They make the strangest clothing here..." he stated.

Melody's disgusted face disappeared and she began to smile. "Don't worry, there are some nice, normal clothes as well. Where do you think I get my regular clothing?" She giggled and fell back, staring at the sun as it began to hide behind the horizon.

Toby thought for a few seconds, "I suppose you're right." he laid back, feeling the soft breeze.

((I wish I could have learned to make myself burp when I was younger... :T ))
Melody stayed quiet for awhile, her tail swaying gently beside her. Finally after a couple silent minutes she turned her head to Toby. "Toby...? What is it like to be a werewolf?" She didn't mean to pry but she wanted to know if it was as horrible as those old movies made it out to be.

Toby thought for a few minutes, "Well.... I'm not quite sure... I haven't gone werewolf in a long time.... but I remember the last time I did... I couldn't remember what I did when I was in the werewolf state. It may look painful, but it's actually just the stress of keeping it under control that makes it so." he said.

"What does it take to actually transform? Does it just happen automatically, or do you have to have something to do it?" Melody was becoming very curious now, and she couldn't help but ask a lot of questions. She rolled over onto her stomach as she stared at Toby in awe.

Toby thought for another few seconds, "Well the most experienced werewolves can transform at will, otherwise it's just our emotion that trigger it, like a self-defense I guess."

Melody began to chew on her bottom lip as she let what Toby say sink it. Well, it seemed to give an extra reason to why she had to be nice, otherwise Toby would go on a rampage. Maybe. "Toby, are you an experienced werewolf? How old are you? Do werewolves have different life spans than normal people?"

Toby grinned, "Yes I am, that's why I said I haven't gone werewolf in a long time. Uhh, I think you already know how old I am. Yes they do, they live a lot longer, though I'm not sure how long."

Melody giggled and shrugged. "Well you could have just been very calm and laid back so that's why you haven't turned into a werewolf." She looked at Toby with wide eyes, propping herself up better with her elbows. "What?! I'm supposed to know your age...? Oh, I guess I forgot then... Are you a hundred years old or something?"

Toby raised an eyebrow, "Do i look a hundred years old? No, I'm actually about thirty years old, pretty young in the life of a werewolf."

Melody began to pout as she sat up and folded her arms across her chest. "Well of course you don't look a hundred! I was thinking maybe like a vampire... They usually look really young but they're usually a thousand years old. Be lucky I didn't say that instead! And would it be like you are considered a child...?" Melody smiled, but soon began to shiver from the sun slowly disappearing.

Melody wanted to laugh at Toby being considered a child, what with being so giant and all, but she was starting to shiver a lot now. "Sh-sh-shut u-u-p!" She stood up and pulled the towel around her to keep her warm, then headed back to the house.
