I saw a new camper walk into the cabin. He looked very flustered and disoriented. I knew that feeling. The camper turned around and I got a clear view of his face. No way. I knew that kid but him here really. I stared at him like an idiot. No way I thought again.

Rex awoke to the loud banging around the cabin. He bolted up with an irritated look. "Hey! What's with all the noise?!" Rex looked around for the source or the noise. His eyes finally rested on the new kid. "Oh.. just a new guy. Whatever..." Rex shrugged and attempted to go back to sleep, but he couldn't. Might as well say hi while I'm up, he decided. Rex got up and walked over to the new guy. "Hey. I'm Rex. You are?" He had his welcoming smile upon his face and a hand extended in greeting.
