Realization dawned on Matsu and he smiled, lucky to find someone with this talent. "Well, Chess, was it? You can read minds...very interesting indeed..." He walked back on over to his cage. "Hm...you would be very valuable in collecting intelligence on them. That is, if you are willing to come with me." The last thing he wanted to do was force anyone to join him. Yet...Chess's talent made it hard for him to stick to that code.

 Byrne listened to their conversation and was almost sad that the boy with cat ears was leaving. She continued hugging her knees and thought back to her conversation with Kaen - about whether or not she had powers. She continued to ponder at this question.

Matsu could sense that someone was brooding. Almost sadden with his decision. He turned to see who it was. To his surprise he saw the first slave that caught his eye. He stopped closer to her cage and knelt down, reading her collar. "Miss Byrne, is it? Well...if you have some combat experience, I will be more then happy to take you too." He smiled gently, showing her he meant no harm.

She looked at him with caution then stood up, not taking her eyes off of him. "All right." she said with a slight drawl - she was still unsure about him. She picked up her back pack and slipped it on.

 Lang just stayed in her cage and growled a little. Her eyes were deadly and even though her collar said other wise she was dangerous for she was the last of her tribe. She was a tribal warrior and she spoke no english. She only spoke the language of her tribe.

Two beaten up guards pushed opened the doors and groaned as they held Aislin by her arms. She calmly walked between them as if nothing had happened and looked around at all of the sad caged faces staring at her. They stopped in front of her destined cage and opened the door - she stepped into the cage willingly and let them lock it behind her. "Bye" she said to them with a monotone voice and a blank expression.

Aislin slowly turned her head and returned the girl's gaze with her blank yet sleepy face. She wasn't one to talk much unless someone was addressing her.

Matsu nodded and pulled out one of his pistols aiming at the lock and pulling the trigger, instantly freeing the girl. "Glad to have you with me," He gave a slight bow before turning back to the young man known as Chess. "Now...for you..."

Lang howled in pain as the gun shot gave her bad memories and hurt her ears. "Skimak lako mayak!!!" Translation: "Why was that nessesary!!!!"

Byrne jumped and covered her ears as the gun fired. She stepped out of the now opened cage and stood next to him - of course she thought of running, but she swept it away and stayed by him.
Aislin flinched and opened her eyes widely. She had only been here for a few minutes and already there had been guns firing and yelling.
