Tolin Well, at least they're getting along. Tolin had been afraid they would antagonize one another, but it seemed that their (slightly bitchy) attitude had at the very least garnered Lucinda's respect, so hopefully it would go both ways. " Of course. Ask any questions you have, I will answer them as best I can." He was praying that he wouldn't have to oust anything that he didn't want to. It would be... bad if he had to explain the whole "Mewtwo" thing in front of Lucinda. As far as he knew, she didn't know about it. Well, if Alfred had told her at some point, he certainly never informed Tolin after.

Aire
If Aire had been caught off guard before, it was nothing compared to now. She blinked in bewilderment at Lucinda. Wife? Wife?! The stub of the cigarette fell from her hand and she had to work to get her composed expression back. Finally, once more calm and in control, she glanced back at Tolin. "I've pulled from what you and that Ivysaur said to make some guesses of my own. I just want verification. For starters, Archer had something to do with Suecra being placed in him-" She pointed to the bed, not quite able to bring herself to use more familiar terms. "-and he survived the execution because of it. Yes?" Because if that were the case then that Mewtwo was damn lucky to be dead o have done such a thing without letting her know. She spent YEARS, YEEEARRS alone and miserable after everything had happened.

LucindaLucinda looked down at Alfred and sighed. They were getting too old for this s**t, and they were still young! "I believe it's something like that... I, personally, have been caught up with taking care of our family, rather than getting involved with all of Alfred's work. But, he's hurt now, so I'm in charge of the Guild of Rebirth." She moved her metal arm, motioning to Tolin. "She is correct, Tolin, is she not?"

Tolin" Screw it." He muttered it lightly under his breath. By the time they fixed Alfred, Suecra would be back inside of Arceus and all that. So it didn't matter. He would lose the right to complain after Tolin saved the universe and then him. " Yes, but that's not the entirety of it. There's much more than that." It's not like it could do any damage at this point. " Archer placed Suecra inside of him, yes. Suecra was the reason he survived the burning. He is also the reason Alfred stayed alive to this day. Suecra was placed inside of Alfred as a part of a pact with Arceus. Archer would lead Rebirth. And in exchange, Alfred would receive Suecra. Suecra would stabilize him and keep him alive until he was old enough to take over Rebirth himself." Well, the last part was a guess but it was probably true. " Legendary blood corrodes the body and mind. Alfred would have died a long time ago without the influence of Suecra. Archer also trained him considerably over the years so he could contain the god without damaging his own body and then stole from him his vision. Without eyes, Alfred could never lose control." Archer had done a lot. " Simply put, he did everything he could to make sure his son would live as long as possible."

Aire
Aire closed her eyes, processing the information with her usual facade of calm although she was seething inside. It didn't matter to her that Archer had done everything he could. He'd forgotten to do one thing of most importance and that was inform her. The older female Gardevoir frowned, eyes open and brimming with angry tears that she fought to hold back until finally she raised an arm and slammed it backward, a Focus Punch swirling around her fist and sending a crater in the brick behind her from the force of impact. Without another word she turned and exited the room.

LucindaLucinda didn't even flinch at Aire's reaction. Mostly because she had been so damn close to doing the same thing herself. "... Tolin, I'm going to spend a little more time with my children before I fully take on the duties of Guild Master. Thank you..." With a flash, she had Teleported away.

JavsJavs responded with a Teleport back upon Aire’s leave, floating at the female’s side. He was quick to grab her arm and have a minor look at her hand in case of any damage. Disregarding his quick reaction, he was quite careful. “I’m sorry.” He simply said before letting go of Aire’s arm; holding both of his own behind his back as his attention fell forward. Asking her to stay was pointless. The information seemed just about summed up.

TolinHe had half expected that, which is why he gave the full explanation in one go rather than wait for it. Well, it was important that Aire knew. She needed to know exactly what it was that had happened to her son and why it was that it had happened. Even if it made her angry, even if it made her cry... she deserved that knowledge as his mother. That didn't make it bite less when both of them left in tears. He looked over at Alfred for just a moment before closing the door and disappearing. There was business to be done. " You're much better at this than I am, kid."

Aire
"It's fine.",she snapped quickly. Annoyed and ashamed at showing such unheard emotions. She was never upset in this manner, she usually kept her anger in check and she had NEVER cried in front of others. It was degrading. "We're leaving." Aire exclaimed, "We'll come back later. I'm sure I'll be needed to search for something then."

JavsJavs was silent as he listened. Finally, he nodded, quickly changing his position so he was hovering out in front of her. Javs rested his hands on the Gardevoir’s shoulders and sighed as he looked at Aire in her unstable state. “You will be needed. You are that boy’s mother after all so yes you’re expected to react as such... I think I can say I myself am rather surprised by the situation at hand. Let us rest while we can. I will be there to help you when needed regardless of where you are to be pulled off to next.”Upon finishing his seemingly half-assed comfort speech, though it was more than enough for the female Gardevoir, he Teleported the two of them back home before she had a chance to respond to him in the hospital. Potentially breaking down in a public place wasn’t really her thing.

TolinThe door to Alfred's room opened and closed quietly. It hadn't been that long since Tolin was here last, when he had met with both Aire and Lucinda. Of course, his reason for visiting the hospital this time was considerably different. The guild hadn't been attacked this time; he had. Negotiations with Mordred were less than fruitful. Tolin had been hoping to use his authority as a member of Rebirth to pull her in, but the attempt had been fruitless. In fact, far from being a positive end, he had actually been attacked. The mass-teleporting and the limited sleep had drawn heavily from his concentration, leaving him with the inability to teleport rapidly. He had still managed to avoid the flames, but he didn't have the energy to spare to recover the slight charring. So, he chose the more traditional method of medicine. Some bandages were wrapped around his waist in order to cover a thin layer of thick paste that would help dull the pain and speed the healing of the wound. It would have to be on for at least the next half hour, although ideally it was best left on for several days. In the mean time, he had been told to get up and walk around a bit. If the dressing didn't stay on (it was always tricky when the patient had an exoskeleton) it would have to be adjusted. One way or another, he eventually found himself at Alfred's room. Right in the chair that sat beside his bed.

 Alfred
There was something about the smell of antiseptic he never liked. Too clean, so pure it seemed wrong. The second his mind dredged it's way up from the muddy waters of unconsciousness he knew where he was. It was that smell. Sharp, sterile. The hospital. He couldn't quite move, not sure if it was the drugs or not, but at least there was no pain. Actually there was nothing, he couldn't feel a thing. He felt strangely detached, as though his body wasn't his and that he just happened to be there. It'd be so easy just to fall back asleep, his system was flooded with so many drugs that he'd probably go out like a light if he wished, but he fought it. Alfred flexed his right hand experimentally, but he was unaware if he'd moved or not. The slightest flicker of moment was noticeable on the outside, bu the Gardevoir hadn't the slightest if there was even anyone around. It hurt to tap into his Psychic energy so he was essentially blind once more. How annoying, he'd just got that back too. Finally after a moment of willing himself into consciousness he opened one eye, slowly, not opening fully. He gave a hiss, the sound muffled from the oxygen mask over his face. The slightest motion took far too much effort.

TolinTolin blinked for a moment. He could have sworn he saw the most marginal twitch from Alfred, but he quickly concluded it to be his imagination. The Gardevoir wouldn't be conscious so soon, if at all. " That would be nice, though..." There was things he needed to know. The password for the plate being one of them. And beyond all else, Alfred waking up even briefly was a hopeful act. If he awoke at all, his soul and his mind were still together. Maybe broken, bruised or battered... but present none the less. It was hard to tell exactly how precise the mirror was; he knew little of it. He stared at Alfred for a moment. Just a moment before bolting to the door and opening it. The eye that was open, he wasn't imagining that. " We need a doctor in here! He's conscious!" The Scyther quickly went back to the bed side and carefully shifted the Oxygen mask off of his face. If he was conscious, he didn't need a device to assist his breathing. " Alfred. Can you hear me? Do you remember who I am--who you are?" There was no telling what was left of his mind.

  Alfred---Lloyd
Alfred blinked, dazed. There was shouting, voices, or was it just one voice? "..wha?" He tested his psychic and got the haziest of images, barely reaching further than the perimeter of his bed. At least it was there, that was a relief. As well as having that mask off his face, it had been uncomfortable as well. Everything was strangely warped and he could only stare mutely at the Scyther for a few moments until Lloyd ruined the quiet with his entrance. "What the hell are you-Oh, holy s**t, I don't believe this." The Weavile turned suddenly and dashed back outside, returning with one of the first aid boxes that were lying everywhere in the hospital. "Watch out, bug." The Ice type said suddenly, stepping past Tolin and raising a flashlight over the Gardevoir to shine right down into his eyes. Alfred was blind, so he didn't see it, but reacted accordingly regardless. They were still light sensitive whether he could use them or not. "He wasn't suppose to wake up yet, must have got the drug doses wrong...stay here, I need to find out where Vito put that file" The Weavile retreated quickly, muttering under his breath about one thing or another.

TolinTolin quickly stepped aside to let Lloyd do his job. He wasn't a doctor and his knowledge of modern medicine was limited at best, so letting Lloyd do anything less than anything he could had the possibility of being tremendously dangerous for Alfred. He was just as quick to step back when the Weavile left. It was important that he evaluated Alfred as best as he could as fast as he could. Some part of him was still there, at least, but how much? " Alfred, do you remember what happened?"
