He waved his hand. "No need to bend tongues, I can speak human just fine." He then bowed in kind and passed them a small amulet he had in his pocket, a symbol of Solia, before he raised his tail to show off an ornate bangle wrapped around it, the symbol of monster-kind and dedicated to Echidna.
"I am known well around these parts. So shall we get together for a common goal?" he hissed gently, feeling that even if they didn't need a new travelling companion out of this sun baked venue, there was at least some tail to be had here. At the very least the succubus would make for good company.

(Likewise here being a Monster Hunter Fan, a Tigrex is the last thing this RP needs. Great job with the map and such.)
"Poaching is the last thing we'd all be. Look at us, what sort of poaching party looks like us?" Said Eric to the lizard-kin, having eventually gotten the distinction from Narranj'o himself. Figures Vor'dra would take the opportunity to jump on the next thing with legs. The lancer leans over to the succubus and whispers in her ear. "Actually, now that I think about it, he and anyone else that passes by here are all yours from now on if you're going to be waddling around with the best of them. Warn me in advance with that mental projection thing you do. Keep an eye on him."

(Very nice map MM! I might have to borrow Suncrest for the world I'm trying to build around this UDT/Springfog setting. ^^ It would certainly be at home in all the mountain ranges I got showing up.)
(I feel left out of this Monster Hunter circle, lol xD I just know its a game.)
Vor'dra cocks an eyebrow as she glances over her shoulder at Eric. "Something tells me that would get me in trouble around these parts but..." She turns her gaze back towards Narranj'o, clearly eyeballing his physical form. "...he peeks my interest so I will trade you a favor for a favor." The succubus smiles and gives Narranj'o a friendly wave from the sidelines.
Wiping a bead of sweat from her forehead, Roxanne stood alongside Cassius casually rubbing her swollen middle as they got to know the strange lizard-kin that had stumbled upon their hiding place.

After a few minutes of talking and introductions, Narranj'o excused himself, wheeling and dealing with a few traders in the bazaar. He convinced them to part with a few of their largest cloaks, meant for the burliest of desert men, for a few copper coins and some jewelry that just so happened to be cluttering up his inventory. He returned with the oversized cloaks and passed them out among the dwellers of the caravan. "These should keep you all nice and cool and covered in the Suncrest sunshine."
He gave the last cloak to Vor'dra, clicking seductively as he stole a rub from her swollen middle. "Mmm, shall we give your companions a little time to themselves as we get to know each other a little better, being of monster-kind and all?" he purred softly to her, admiring the heft of her swollen breasts in her bikini top and wagging his tail interestedly.
((It's basically exactly what it sounds like: you take up the role of a powerful Hunter, and join up with a guild that gives you bounties to take down epic monsters!))
The all-too-obvious advances Narranj'o made toward Vor'dra were a bit painful to watch, though Cassius imagined a succubus wouldn't be very picky in who it bedded...and he'd nearly forgotten Vor'dra was indeed a creature with no soul, incapable of genuine feelings for anyone. Cassius included, apparently. The sting was brief, but potent. Pressing himself back into rational thought with some effort, Cassius held up a hand. "Beg pardon, Narranj'o, but friendly as you seem...surely you can't be suggesting we allow one of our band to be alone with a stranger? Especially not when we are all in a very delicate situation." he took a glance at Vor'dra's gravid baby bump. "In more ways than one."

Narranj'o shot a subtle, but pretty dirty, glare at Cassius, not appreciating the blatant denial to his advances so dastardly backed by common sense logic. He decided to drop it for now as he had another idea to spend time with this merry band of men and lovely, voluptuous, pregnant women. "You are right. After all, I should be guiding you through the city and pointing out various hot spots while you enjoy your stay here." He gathered up his own personal effects and started toward the lower bazaar, looking over his shoulder to see which takers he had for his tourism offer.
(Sounds like a cool game, but I'm a PC gamer and to my knowledge that is/was a console game series)
(Love how Vor'dra has made a love triangle out of the two charming-rogue types in our group within mins of them all meeting lol. Which is understandable given that she is a succubus and thats what she does best...)
Even though she wore very little beneath the ratty cloak she'd borrowed from their undead companion Brillux, Vor'dra managed to seductively remove the stolen piece of clothing and replace it with new one Narranj'o had just presented her with. "Thank you..." Vor'dra said, making a show of her bountiful breasts and swollen middle for Narranj'o and Cassius as she adjusted the cloak's clasp about her shoulder. "Hopefully I won't need this for long..." She added as a cloak once again hid her fertile curves from view with its embrace.
Rolling her eyes at Vor'dra overly sexulized nature, Roxanne intercepted Narranj'o's path. "As much as we would love to wander about the city taking in the sights, we are not here as tourists but with a mission in mind." Roxanne explained. "Could we perhaps persuade you into showing us where we might find..." The warlock paused as she tried to remember his name. "...That one's brother." She added, pointing towards Cassius.

Narranj'o clicked almost amusedly. "And pray tell, how exactly would I know his brother when I don't even know him from Adam?" he replied, before giving a small apology. "What can you tell me about him so that I may gleam where exactly it is I should be leading you?"
"Oh, I don't think we'll have to worry about finding my Brother. I'm certain he already knows I'm here." Cassius made a gesture toward the highest tier of the city in the distance, where an extravagant temple gleamed in the sunlight. "Besides, if I know him...he'll be sitting right on top of his cake while he eats it, too."

Narranj'o turned his eyes to the tower and gave a hiss. "Oh, him. I make it a point to stay far from that part of the city. I'm better understood down here, and the constant talk of Solia is too much for me. I can only listen to the praises of a foreign goddess for so long before I start to feel sick," he huffed, before spitting into the dirt. "If you need any assistance in the lower city then I'll be more than happy to provide it. But if it's all the same to you, I'll wait down here. "
A muffled scream echoed down through the alley. Not a moment later, the third-story window of a nearby building shattered outward as a figure crashed through it. They landed on an old awning across the way, and though it quickly gave way beneath their weight it was enough to break the worst of the fall. The figure fell on top of a pile of old rugs beneath the awning and then slid to the dirt of the alley with a huff. She stood, above average height for a human female at just over six foot tall, but her midnight black skin and the tufts of white hair peaking out from under her hood betrayed anything human about her...which is what she was apparently trying to convey, at least from a distance. Her arms and legs were covered by pale gloves and stockings, and a porcelain mask of Solia hung about her neck by a leather strap; a crude disguise of some sort. Her robes were those of the Suncrest common folk, although her awkward journey down from the window had left them stained with dust and mud. Her gleaming amethyst eyes darted around before noticing the group of friends standing by their caravan. "You there! Please! If you have any decency about you, help me!" she croaked, jogging a few steps in their direction. As if awaiting the perfect moment for an entrance, that which she needed help from followed her out from the window above: four of the city guard, clad in the silvery armor of their station, leapt down and landed heavily in the alley below. On their heels, a much larger soldier landed with grace unfit for someone of his size, his golden armor gleaming even in the indirect light of the area. His helm resembled a bear, and an authoritative voice rang out from beneath it. "Heathen! You cannot escape! Surrender, and mayhap Solia will be merciful when you burn with her fury!" "Yeah, right! That sounds great!" the dark she-elf retorted with a sneer, "You might want to change your selling point; 'Merciful' and 'burn with her fury' don't seem like they belong in the same statement!" "Your kind are born of the dark, and so must they be purged by the light of our Goddess! However those that recant and give themselves to her willingly may meet a much swifter end when their spirits are cleansed under her fiery gaze." the golden-armored soldier said with conviction. "You're a fanatic. The lot of you are! He's using the sun to blind you all!" the Drow said. She walked backwards a few steps until she had her back to the carriage. Looking over her shoulder, she spoke low enough that only those outside it would hear her, not daring to take her eyes away from the guards. "I'm sorry to drag you into this, truly. I'm sure you're good folk. But you see what I'm up against, and I won't be able to run forever..." Cassius had been watching the scene with growing interest...and nausea; he could sense something of his Brother all over the situation, and it left a sour taste in his mouth. It wasn't long before he felt heat creeping up his spine, an anger he'd long-since forgotten threatening to take hold of his senses. With a deep breath and a sigh he maintained and drew his blade, taking up a position between the dark elf and her pursuers. "How could I refuse such a pretty face?" he remarked aside to her, loud enough for the soldiers to hear him as well. "Certainly more fair than the one on the mask you wear. Perhaps these gentlemen would be kind enough to take it off your hands and stow it where the sun doesn't shine. A lack of light can make any woman more appealing." "Heresy! You would mock our Goddess and defend this creature of darkness in the same breath?!" the leader of the guards took a step forward. He didn't draw a weapon like the swords of his subordinates, instead he squared his shoulders and let out a sound that could only be described as a roar. His armor began to glow with heat, orange overall but white-hot around his hands. "I will see to it that it is your last!" He was upon the group faster than a blink, one of his hands around the throats of both the dark elf and Cassius. He raised them from the ground as everything burned where his gauntlets touched, an audible sizzle preceding the smell of burning flesh. The girl screamed much as she had before. Cassius crowed out some gibberish...and a storm cloud formed over the section of the alley that they were in. What with his magic being heavily-influenced by chaos, it was unclear whether that was his actual intention or not. Regardless it began to rain, a drizzle that slowly became a downpour. Unfortunately it did little to stop the large soldier, most of the droplets turning to steam before they even touched him. The other four soldiers were slowed at least, now having to more carefully navigate the quickly-thickening mud beneath the weight of their armor. A bolt of raw lightning suddenly struck out of the cloud, blasting the lead soldier fully in the back. It was gone in a flash, but it stunned the large man and allowed Cassius to wriggle free. He grabbed the Drow girl as he fell and she came down with him. Once they were clear, Cassius grabbed the woman by the shoulders and pulled her around the corner of the carriage, putting it between them and the soldiers. It wouldn't be much of a deterrent in the long run, but at least it would give them a chance to breathe. The bear-helmed soldier shook himself and regained his composure, bellowing out in frustration, his armor glowing even hotter. By then the rest of his fellows had reached the carriage, and they raised their swords to attack the rest of the group.
((Woo! Comin' back with a vengeance!
Just a couple of notes here: - The lead soldier is -in D&D-ish terms for my folk in the know... *ahem* ...Viper, Love- radiating an aura of intense heat that extends into a ten foot radius, leaving those ill-equipped for such temperatures fatigued within ten feet and possibly draining energy within 5. For everyone else, that basically means that if you aren't someone with armor or maybe a race that negates extreme heat, you can't get close to him without becoming so sick that you can barely breathe. His touch attack does something a little extra nasty to all non-magical weapons and armor. He is obviously immune to any and all fire damage. He is also usually immune to any sort of charge or "bull rush" abilities, but because of all the rain and mud...I may let it slide, this time. See what I did there? - The other soldiers are unusually resistant to fire, but not at all to the degree of the big guy. They do however gain a few traits when in close proximity with their leader! - Basically, just try not to assume too much when combating these guys because there may be less of them than us but they have a couple of abilities which could allow them to be extra dangerous to the unwary. Anyway, I think this is gonna be a fun encounter!
I want a good, cleandirty fight! Let's get it on!!!))

((Wooho! Nothing like throwing us some action after a long break! BRING IT ON! twisted And lol, I love how you broke it down into D&D terms heart Makes me wish I was a better DM so I could try making a simple D&D dungeon for people from guild.))
Roxanne eyes the situation carefully, glancing between the drow and the armored guard advancing on them. While she was itching for some action after being stuck in their carriage for so long she remained hesitant to throw herself in with a random drow. Their race was well known for backstabbing friends and enemies alike. "At least you can still run... Haven't been able to do that for what feels like months now..." Roxanne muttered loud enough for the drow and her companions to her as lightly drumming the fingers of one hand atop her massive pregnant swell while the other clutched her staff tightly.
"Thats one way to greet the locals..." Vor'dra commented with a hint of boredom in her voice. "But perhaps my way might work better..." Knowing better than approaching head on, the pregnant succubus skirted the edge of the battlefield before giving a sharp whistle off to the soldier's left and dropping her cloak, suddenly revealing her curvaceous body in all its demonic maternal glory.
"Now now... Why you gotta go making this godawful heat worse?" Roxanne said, tsking at the bear-helmed bruiser as she stared him down, unaffected by his aura of fire thanks to her demonic pact (I imagine its the humidity of this place that would really bother her). With a snap of her fingers, the claws atop her staff crushed the purple orb it held. "Haaroon, be a dear and remove this shiny p***k and his friends from our alley."
"AS YOU WISH MISTRESS..." thundered a deep voice as the demonic being known as Haaroon manifested beside Roxanne. At nearly nine feet tall, the hulking grey-green felguard towered over the pregnant warlock. Despite being armed with a wicked looking axe, Haaroon engaged the lead guard with his barrel sized fists seeking the grapple the smaller creature.
Narranj'o's pupils contracted into slits as he felt the overbearing heatwave washing over him and gave out a wicked hiss in warning as his blood began to boil. The sudden gout of rain cooled him off enough to bring him back from the brink, but he was still plenty hot and bothered by the presence of these guards. It was bad enough that they prevented him from exploring the upper rings of the city, but now they were trying to drive him away from this small territory he could call home in an unforgiving wasteland? He had enough with the formalities and toeing the line of a culture that ostracized his own; he was fighting back this time, Echidna-damn it. He drew a dagger from a concealed loop in his cloak and took advantage of the quagmire below his feet to dart around the combatants and find a strategic point to strike one of the lackeys, as the sahuagin could tell that the captain was far out of his league. With nary a squelch to give away his position, he took aim at an opening in a guardsman's armor and lunged forward for a strike.

(Almost wondering if Solia would be Firin's patron goddess as she does wield the light. Is good to see some action and I'll just have to adapt)
Firin slipped the cloak over herself before reattaching her two-hander's scabbard to her back before turning to the group. The succubus was making some advances towards Narran'jo which made the holy warrior chuckle a bit before turning back to her sullen look. She followed them in the rear casting her gaze to both sides though it was the scream that crossed her ears made the paladin turn and draw her blade its silver sheen glinting in the desert sun.
"Drow?" Firin muttered. The drow were often considered to be practitioners of dark and evil magic, both very much against the tenants of her order but her travels with this rag-tag group has made her not follow all of those bylaws. She were about to speak but the a nearby blast of energy made her step back. Cassius's spell had made it rain as well as lightning crackling down. While he brought the drow around, Firin raised her blade once more readying herself for the ensuing chaos.
A warrior at heart, the paladin charged at full force towards the armoured guards roaring at the guards while she found her adrenaline pumping as the holy knight swung her sword in a wide arc with both hands cleaving into one of them making him howl in pain. He swung at her with his good sword hand but a quick turn and a swing made both weapons ring out like a bell. He was easily defeated by a quick thrust.
Turning once more the paladin felt a thunderous rumble watching a monstrous grey beast glowing with green energy charged past her. Glad for the help, Firin chanted under her breath Asking one of her patron dieties for his assistance.
"When it rains, it pours trouble. Are we ever going to catch a break again?" Groaned Eric before picking up his lance from the coach seat and readied himself for another battle. It was these kinds of fight (along with the company he was keeping currently) that made him uncertain as to what side he was still on anymore. He would have to discuss these favors with Vor'dra another time...
He scratches his head and turns to the Drow woman's assailants. "I know we may not look it. But for your own good, leave this woman be and we won't have to harm you or worse."
Well, he tried to delegate, but Cassius decided to act first and talk later. Was everyone liked this? With a sigh, he dashed along side Firin, aiding her in their fight.
"You all got this, right?" Asked Bela, this heat was the worse. She didn't want to get all sweaty fighting. Who knows when she'll get another proper bather on this escapade.
