Solaris Sorry......I'll be taking my leave now.
{Traverse Town : First District : Cafe}
Unwrapping his arms from around Nalo, Solaris moved away from him and had plans to sit back down, but it seemed like they were all planning to leave. Gripping tightly to his staff he walked through the door that was still being held open by Aerith and stopped several steps away. "Thank you for your kindness Aerith," He started out, his voice trembling slightly, "I suppose that all I can ask of you now is to lead us to our ship, so that we can be off on our journey." As he finished, his voice had grown steadily stronger, no longer trembling.
It was a strange feeling, to not be scared of someone. He had only experienced it a few times after his enslavement ended, but to stop fearing this one woman so quickly after meeting, Aerith was remarkable.

~Rasxa~
Life is an Illusion, Therefore, We all Believe the Same Lie ~ Traverse Town--> First District-->Cafe~ Rasxa watched as Solaris got up, took his staff and walked past him, to the outside air and past Youni. At first it looked like he was scared, although Rasxa had no clue why, but then he seemed to get stronger and was afraid no more. I guess that seems reasonable. Now with that question... I think I will have to get the answer later, whenever I have time to get Window by himself because if I pose such a question, it might b awkward for everyone. He thought, determined to get his question answered, whatever it may take. Smiling with a snap of his fingers, Rasxa had followed Solaris out the door and was, in an instant, beside him, clapping him on the shoulder for no better reason than to try to be friendly. "Solaris is right. We should get going while time is still young. Solaris is your name, right?" He asked, sticking his face a little too close to Solaris', their noses nearly touching. ~That little spark you have, protect it, for if you don't, someone will come and snuff it out~

Solaris Sorry......I'll be taking my leave now.
{Traverse Town : First District}
A tremor ran through Solaris' body as Rasxa put his hand on his shoulder. That was the absolutely wrong thing to do. He gripped his staff, praying that the man would let go. This wasn't Nalo, and it certainly wasn't Enyb. And then he went and put his face right next to his. This was too much, too fast for Solaris to handle, so he had to act to get away from this.
Knocking Rasxa's hand away with his staff, he spoke a single word, attempting to make sure that Rasxa wouldn't attempt to get closer to him. "Thunder." With that, a bolt of lightning dropped right between them, hopefully temporarily blinding Rasxa. As soon as the lightning dropped, Solaris took off, rounding the corner of the cafe and sitting against the wall, shivers rocking his body as he tried to cope.

~Rasxa~
Life is an Illusion, Therefore, We all Believe the Same Lie ~ Traverse Town--> First District-->In Front of the Cafe~ Rasxa rapidly blinked as his hand was knocked away. Then thunder flashed before his eyes, temporarily blinding him and making him step back a few steps, his scythe appearing in his hands defensively, to prevent any further attacks until his vision cleared. Well that was definitely a bad idea. I didn't expect him to react that way. He thought, confused. Blinking slowly to try to bat away the blindingly bright white dots that swarmed all over his eyes, Rasxa gripped his weapon tightly, ready for an attack at any moment while he still couldn't see correctly. A few more seconds later, his vision cleared to show him that there was no one attacking him. Making absolutely sure that it was a false alarm, Rasxa made his scythe disappear. Finally realizing that Solaris wasn't where he thought he was, Rasxa's eyes flickered, finding nothing but the open door to the cafe, Aerith and Youni still standing there. Now look what you've done, you've scared the poor boy away. He thought, suddenly depressed. "I-i-i'm sorry... that was too close?" He asked the emptiness sadly, loud enough to be heard around the district. ~That little spark you have, protect it, for if you don't, someone will come and snuff it out~

~Window~ [Traverse Town::First District] "What---!" Window gasped as blinding light suddenly filled the square. He whipped around away from Aerith and Youni to look at the source. A slightly charred section on the ground roughly marked the spot where Solaris and Rasxa had stood, though only a depressed Rasxa remained. "Rasxa, what happened?" the man exclaimed. Immediately, his first thought had screamed that there was another attack, and impulsively Window's muscles flexed to protect Aerith and Youni if need be. However, Rasxa had made no action that indicated this was the case. Window's back had been turned, so there was no way he could see what had transpired, leaving the question of... "Where is Solaris Teodolis, Rasxa?" Ah, they had been so close to leaving this world...Window was hoping they'd make it all off in one piece before anything else disastrous happened.

[ First District : In Front of Café ]As Aerith was watching the small group get ready, her eyes jumped to the location of the sudden spell, mostly unfazed. As Rasxa and Window began to wonder about Solaris, she gave a small sigh. Having been at the entrance to begin with, she knew exactly where he had gone.
"I'll go get him- why don't the rest of you head toward the Gummi Hangar?" she mentioned, pointing toward the large double doors at the front of the District. She noticed that things hadn't changed between Merlin, his friend with the swords, and the two men in the center, frowning slightly. "And try to avoid the square- go around the edges if you can. The Hangar is protected by a variety of magics, so once you get in there there won't be any worries."
With that, Aerith gave Youni a pat on the shoulder, muttering to her to follow Window, and that she'd be with her shortly. She then went around the corner, almost immediately spotting Solaris.
"Hey there. Are you going to be okay?" she asked, not getting to close as she spoke; she knew from the night before how he felt with strangers.[[Any word on Vain/Core, Xelizar, or Jiraal? Or did I miss a response o_o]]

~Window~ [Traverse Town::First District] Window almost sighed with relief. At least Aerith had seen whatever had gone on, and she could handle the situation better than he could. The man wasn't cut out for conflict resolution; or, rather, he wasn't suited for the aftermath when people needed to be consoled. It's not that Window didn't care, he just felt incredibly awkward. He didn't know if Rasxa and Solaris had fought, but at any rate, Solaris had felt the need to leave in a flash. "Ah, many thanks, Aerith. We will meet you presently in the Gummi Hangar, then." He turned to look at the rest of the group, making eye contact to signal that it was time to leave, and then he began to walk toward the doors she indicated, trusting that they would follow him. The man's eyes paused at Nalo, the one who had been with him from the very start. Nalo had seemed to make a ready friend with Solaris earlier, as was in the Viera's easygoing nature. Something twinged inside Window with this thought. Was it a hint of jealousy? Was it realizing that Nalo's kindness was not reserved only for Window? Or maybe that Window now realized he wasn't just watching out for one other person anymore...that the circle had widened. Window's fingers twitched. He remembered their first meeting, their first encounter with the Heartless...the way Nalo was frank and honest and open, the way he seemed to brighten up a room. And what had Window done to show his appreciation? He paused for a second, his entire body pulled in two directions at once--but then his hand quickly shot out and grasped Nalo's hand, pulling him much in the same way Nalo had done many times before. Window kept his face forward, away from the Viera and everyone else so that no one had to see the shade of red it had become. He even managed to keep it up and out of view of Youni as he guided her forward with his other hand on her back, leading them on to the hangar--and onto their final moments in Traverse Town.

Solaris Sorry......I'll be taking my leave now.
{Traverse Town : First District}
Huddling down against the wall, Solaris was rocking gently and clutching his staff. His thoughts were racing and he was terrified. What have I done...? That was such a mistake. He was supposed to be my comrade! Why did I send a bolt of thunder between us? Will he even be able to forgive me? Will I be able to go with them now that I've done this? He still wanted to join Nalo and Window and the rest and travel with them, but if he couldn't do that because he had attacked Rasxa....
While he heard Rasxa talk, he just didn't know what to say to him, didn't know how to apologize to him. So, with that insecurity, he chose not to move from his spot, remaining crouched and wishing that he could reverse time and not act like he had.
When Aerith asked if he was going to be okay, he wasn't sure exactly what to say. It wasn't like he was physically hurt. Or emotionally hurt. Just terrified that he wouldn't be able to go with them. He certainly wasn't feeling his best though. "I'll be okay.... Is Rasxa alright?" He asked, although he felt that Rasxa would have been safe. He hadn't aimed for the man himself.

~.~Thales~.~ ”You can bend it and twist it… You can misuse and abuse it… But even the gods cannot change the Truth.” [Traverse Town ~.~ Gummi Hangar ~.~ Gummi Ship]"Oh, right... of course," Thales said, stepping away from the two pilots and back into a chair where he buckled himself in. Shortly, the gummie ship took off and they found themselves in the Lanes Between the worlds, a place Thales had only been once while traveling to Traverse Town from Olympus. ~.~Dark~.~ ””…fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. The one who has inflicted the injury must suffer the same injury.” ” [Traverse Town ~.~ First District ~.~ Cafe][Cue Ominous Voyeur Music] The cafe was exceptionally full that evening. The sound of people conversing and screeching silverware had never been more irritating. However, even amongst all the people present that day, along with all the noise, a small group of about 6 or 7 (though their number wasn't as important as what they were discussing) stood out the most as if they were sitting underneath a spot light while the rest of the cafe seemed to fade into the background. ...that is to say until three little syllables broke the surveyor's concentration. "Po-ta-toes," said a rather obnoxiously loud waitress to one of the guests at the cafe. "Never heard of them?"For a brief moment, eyes that were behind shadows created by a hood that masked the observers face shifted from the group to the noisy waitress, but when the focused was redirect to the group, they were gone. Quickly taking a gulp from his drink, the ominous man dressed entirely in black stood up and made his way to the exit--his plan already in motion. Prior to stepping outside, the man cracked open the door just wide enough to peer at the group standing right outside the cafe with his crystal blue eyes until one of them, a gentleman with brown hair and green eyes, about average length, began walking towards the the Gummi Hangar, leading a young girl with his hand on her back and leading a young rabbit-human by the hand. The man's lips narrows and stretched into a smile before he lowered his hood. "Wait a minute!" the man finally shouted in hopes the group would hear him. He opened the door and rushed to them rather clumsily. Each step he took was a struggle to keep his balance, and for the most part he was doing a fairly decent job at not falling; however, that all quickly changed... His foot clipped a loose stone tile, which caused him to soar across the remaining distance between himself and the group, and land, tumbling towards the others until he finally came to a halt beside them with a loud "Oof!"The man laid on the ground for a few seconds, feeling as if he were seeing stars, then slowly pushed himself onto his feet, his head bowed to hide his face, which was flushed with embarrassment. The man chuckled nervously before saying, "Woops... that... that didn't exactly go as smoothly as I wanted it to go." There was a brief pause before the man broke out into hysterical laughter, his fists digging into his sides, still feeling rather embarrassed about what had just happened. Slowly, his laughter died as he began to feel more and more foolish for being the only one laughing, he coughed and cleared his throat, before speaking again. "Sorry... ...this is kind of awkward... Introductions make me feel weird."

[ First District : In Front of Café ]Aerith smiled reassuringly. "Yes, he's going to be alright. You didn't hurt him, you just shocked him- metaphorically speaking!"
Her pun, completely unintentional, did cause her to chuckle somewhat at herself. "He's just worried about you, that's all. Now why don't we go and catch up so we can get you on that ship, hmm? They're waiting for you to come back."

{Traverse Town : First District}
Relief washed through the young man as he heard that Rasxa wasn't harmed. That was one good thing. He also managed to break a small smile at her shocked remark. There was one thing he didn't know how he felt about though. Rasxa was almost a complete stranger...and he was worried about him? It was quite odd.
Nodding, Solaris slowly stood up, still clutching his staff tightly. "Alright. Let's go then. Thank you." He said, closing some of the distance, but still keeping more than an arms length between them.

~Rasxa~
Life is an Illusion, Therefore, We all Believe the Same Lie ~ Traverse Town--> First District-->In Front of the Cafe~ As Rasxa heard and watched Aerith go and find Solaris to comfort him, his mood got immediately brighter. After Window, Youni and Nalo started towards the Hanger, leading the way, Rasxa lifted his foot to follow, but something momentous happened. A strange man dressed all in black came, at first running, but them tripping, tumbling and finally flying the last few steps, falling just short of where the others were standing. Woops... that... that didn't exactly go as smoothly as I wanted it to go." The strange creature burst into crazy laughter that was akin to what Rasxa himself goes into whenever he goes into a manic rage. Walking a little closer, Rasxa was going to offer a hand to help him up when he spoke again. "Sorry... this is kind of awkward... Introductions make me feel weird." Rasxa tilted his head and then said, "I bet it would help if you were on your feet. So, let me help you up from that sprawled out position." Rasxa's tone was one of a curious onlooker, as if he wasn't really connected to that simple situation. He could be a danger... he could be a friend... I will be ready if he attacks. He thought as he held his hand ready, twitching at his side. He was ready to quickly summon his weapon in time to block or stop him in his tracks. His hand looked kind of odd as numbers seemed to appear out of nowhere and swirl around his hand. ~That little spark you have, protect it, for if you don't, someone will come and snuff it out~

Nalo
Nalo had been focused on Window throughout the whole struggle. He was rather absent-minded, of late. Window had grabbed Nalo's hand and led the much taller Viera around. He felt Window's warmth, he felt the uneasy, cautiousness in his grasp, he felt his smile, his embarrassment. Nalo simply smiled and ruffled Window's hair with his other hand. Nalo caught the last bit of Solaris's sentence. "Yes! Let's go!"

~Window~ A loud thud resonated somewhere behind the group. Surprised so, Window quickly dropped Nalo's hand as he pivoted around to see what new thing had come upon them. (This whole "sudden surprise" thing was beginning to become routine.) He saw only the cafe behind them, empty of the cause of the noise...until he heard a voice from below nervously laugh, "Whoops...that...that didn't exactly go as smoothly as I wanted it to go." Looking down, Window saw a man clad in black with gold trim. Curiouser and curiouser he mused. There did not seem to be an end to newcomers and others looking to get off of this world. Well, that was what Window assumed to be this man's purpose in approaching them. Traverse Town was a place of refugees and travelers, and a majority of the people here seemed to be in transit. Window and the rest of the group were clearly headed for the gummi hangar, so...maybe he wanted to go along as well? Was this a common occurrence for people to join with strangers in order to find company as they traveled off-world? Window reminded himself not to assume anything. "All you all right, then?" he asked the newcomer. Rasxa was already holding out his hand to the man in black...though Window noticed--why, were those strange symbols floating around his hand? He wondered what they meant--more magic, most likely. The man seemed innocent enough, though his laughter was a little odd, maybe almost forced or as if the man were on edge. Er, maybe it was because he feels embarrassed? Still, common courtesy took precedence over any question Window had about the newcomer. "We will attempt to make the introductions as painless as possible, then," Window said as he greeted the man in black with his traditional arm gesture. "I am called Window. My companions here are Nalo, Youni, Rasxa, [Vain, his sword, and Artemis] and...ah! Here approaches Solaris Teodolis and Aerith. Might I inquire as to who you are? And what is the nature of your, ah, business with our group? You seem to be in quite a hurry to engage with us."

~.~Dark~.~ ””…fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. The one who has inflicted the injury must suffer the same injury.” ” [Traverse Town ~.~ First District]The man stared at the stranger's hand for a bit, also noticing the strange writings encircling it. He also noticed the light brown haired stranger's other hand twitching, as if ready to strike if given a reason to. Though he hesitated at first, the newcomer took grasp of the stranger's hand, as to avoid sounding off any mental alarms due to disrespect, and was pulled fully to his feet. His touch would've felt grainy and rough, though somewhat soft as if a thin layer of sand incased his entire hand. "T-Thank you," the man said, the chill he felt from embarrassment still evident in his voice, as he patted down his clothes. [Cue: Kairi's Theme] Upon getting on his feet, another man introduced himself as Window, then proceeded to introduce the rest of the group. As he named and motioned to each one, the newcomer's crystal blue eyes only settled on one person--Youni. His stare was fixated; never moving as Window's voice drowned in the background. He did not even turn to address the two others that were approaching from behind. His stare was filled with disbelief and longing, his mouth slightly agape, as if the man was lost in his own thoughts; visualizing someone else standing where Youni stood. What was only seconds felt like minutes before Window's voice brought the man back to reality. "Might I inquire as to who you are? And what is the nature of your, ah, business with our group? You seem to be in quite a hurry to engage with us." The man shook his head, then turned his attention to Window, blinking a few times as if to confirm what he was seeing was indeed real. "Huh? Oh! Right! I'm sorry, I must've zoned out..." He turned to face Youni once more, the image he had seen before now fading away and replaced with the young girl. Turning back to Window, the man spoke again. "Forgive me for my rudeness. My mind... it's a bit preoccupied," his voice sounded rather downhearted, as he lowered his gaze to the floor. "I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but I couldn't help overhear what you and your group were talking about back at the cafe. You're all going off to fight the Heartless, aren't you?" The man asked, lifting his gaze from the ground and scanning the small crowd before him. "Why else would you want to leave a safe haven like Traverse Town?""Please, let me come with you," the raven haired man begged. "My business is the Heartless. They... took something from me... Something dear... ...I want them to pay for it..." He said the last bit through clenched teeth, his hands now turned into fists as his body became tense from overwhelming emotions. "I know I'm a bit clumsy, but I'm a decent fighter--not to mention my various other skills and experiences I've learned throughout my lifetime. I could be of great help to your group." Suddenly, his mood lightened up and his eyes lit as he bonked his forehead with the bottom of his palm, a smile now present on his face, as if suddenly remembering something. "I'm sorry. I never told you my name. My name's Krad. It's a pleasure to meet all of you."
