Trinity reflects the pose that Freya did. Then the song "Vogue" by Madonna was in her head and she did a few more poses. She then does a pose with one hand behind her head the other thumbing the top of her draw sting shorts and her hips were leaning forward with her lips sorta pouty.
She started to wonder, why she didn't do this sort of thing before. She would hide herself in baggy clothes in PE.

Freya turns her head to Trinity and smiles proudly. She thinks back to when she first met Julia, her adopted sister. "Now that's what I'm talking about. You're gonna have all the boys running into walls when you go back to school. Now howabout we get back into the game?"
With that she gives Trinity a hardy pat on the back and steps back out into the middle of the floor.

Trinity blushed a little as she made that comment about boys. Gee... I wouldn't want that to happen to any boy. They'd get a sore head ache from such things.
As Freya changed the subject to continue training Trinity nodded with enthusiasm, "gladly" she says. She meets Freya at the middle of the floor, "Um... we're continuing in my room? Or in the shadow realm?"

Freya ponders for a moment, grins, then takes Trinity's hand. After falling through their shadows, they appear in what appears to be a very large gymnasium.
Freya let's go of Trinity's hand and skips out to the center of a mat that has a medicine ball sitting in the middle of it. She twirls back toward Trinity while maintaining her grin. "This place is locked up today. Special order from Teshou. He was planning on doing to physical training with you in here...but we went ahead and took the high speed option. However, what I am about to show you is quick and easy to get a handle on. That being said, we don't need to go into the shadow realm for this."
"Now I'm guessing that Teshou has already shown you how to shape your shadow. So what, my young and pretty little violet flower, would you say about being able to do something like this?"
Freya spins around and punts the ball straight up. Right when it descends, she rears her right arm back and delivers a straight punch. Quicker than most people would be able to see, Freya's shadow travels up her body and to her fist. At the moment of extension and impact, a giant black fist explodes from Freya's hand and disintegrates the medicine ball. The contents of the ball fall to the ground as the fist retracts itself and returns to the ground from whence it came.

Trinity was speechless. This is way better than that shadow creature she created from the shadows in the alley.
As the pieces fell so did some of the rubble from the hospital.

Freya turns back toward Trinity and grins. "Pretty sweet huh? Remember how I told you that torque can increase the impact of a blow? Same rule applies to what I just did. Since you've undergone our little training session, throwing a good punch or kick will be a snap. Now all you have to do, is get your shadows timing right. You have to have a part of your body on the ground so that your shadow has a path to travel. After that it's a matter of getting it to your foot or fist at the precise moment of impact."
Freya walks over to a rack full of playground balls and picks one up. She tosses into the air a few times and peeks over at Trinity. "We'll start with something easy." She rears back and throws the ball at Trinity's mid section.

The balls were speeding toward her. She reacts as if it was natural she kicks one pushing it away she punches one and spins and elbows the other. Alas she wasn't thinking about shadow manipulation while she was doing it. Granted it was all in perfect form, but not what Freya was looking for.
"Um.. Let me try without the balls..." it felt like it had been a while since she last manipulated her shadow because of the training.
She faces her shadow and forms a spike, a sphere, a cube to warm up she did wonder if she could raise the shadow from the ground and spar with it some time, but that was for experimenting for another day.
Now for the task at hand. She has it crawl up her leg a couple of times it felt little numb as it touched her skin. She then tries a punch with her shadow. Keeping in mind what Freya said about making sure she was still connected to her shadow as she does it. As she punches she visualizes what it looks like at first the shadow crawling up her leg and it becomes an extension of her arm. It comes out as a fist close to the one she just threw. She tries again this time she went with the feeling of hitting some one that to be, Lev. It was much bigger than her fist. Then she remembered what Freya said about torque, she tries again. Her shadow engulfs her, it look like it was like a tornado column swirling around her forming a fist. This seemed to be the most powerful.
She knew she was ready now with the shadow not surrounding her and using her shadow as an extension she does the 'bring it on' gesture. Letting Freya know she was ready.

Freya smiles broadly and licks her upper lip. "Alright then, heads up Trinity."
Her shadow creeps up behind her and picks up each of the remaining seven balls on the rack with a separate tendril. One by one they whip the balls at Trinity. Each one aims for a different portion of her body.

Trinity panicked she saw all the balls heading at her at once. She couldn't figure out how to do so many tendrils and control them at once. She was probably thinking it was way too complicated to do that right now and so the only thing she could think of was to create a dome around her.
She lift her arms to the air and spread them and the dome formed around her. She remembered that the goal of the exercise is to catch the balls and so she softened the dome enough to catch them as they landed in the dome they were stuck in there instead of bouncing off.

Freya pouts and walks up to Trinity's dome. She sticks her hands into it and spreads it open so she can look at Trinity. "Quick thinking, but you were supposed to smack them away with your shadow limbs. What happened? I thought you were totally gonna go Neo on those balls."

"Sorry, I wasn't sure how to figure that out... using multiple limbs at once would take a lot of concentration to keep them going at once. So far, I've managed to manipulate the shadow into one object or another. Even that giant shadow beast was still one thing that I was focused on. So I went with one thing and made a dome to catch the balls... sorry... perhaps it isn't as complicated as I think it is..." she was saddened that she couldn't do what her teacher wanted her to do.

Freya laughs and dispells the rest of the shadow dome. "Don't feel so bad, you can't possibly get everything right the first time. And you're right, it isn't all that complicated. Sometimes the most simple answer is the best one. You could've just slapped away those balls like annoying flies. Using your shadow limb with inertia is the same principle as using it with kinetic torque."
Freya kneels down and pick up a ball. She says, "Giver this one a good whack." The then throws the balls straight up into the air in the same fashion she did earlier.

Trinity still was not using multiple limbs. It looked like to an untrained eye that there were multiple fists. In reality it was one fist catching the balls so fast and putting them down. It came really close with the last one and she was preparing for to block but her shadow caught inches away from her face.
There was a pause for a moment as the shadow drops the ball in front of her and it rolls away. She thought that the ball came too close and it shouldn't have. She felt as though she had failed again for letting that happen. Her eyes lower as she stares at the ball that almost hit her.

Freya's ears tilt curiously as she asks, "What's wrong Trinity? Don't feel bad just because that one got a little close. The important thing is that it didn't hit you. Besides, close calls are super exciting. Surprises are what make life great. Except for those stupid peanut snake cans, I effing hate those. Anyway, now we are going to play volley ball.
Freya goes to the other end of the mat and grabs a volley ball. She smashes the ball with a shadow fist while shouting, "Try and hit it back at me!"
