"Once it is placed it cannot be taken off. The only way would be to go to a member of the high counsel to arrange a break of the engagement. I have tried before but since I do not know who my master is I cannot do a thing."

You don't want me for a master, and I meant it when I said I didn't want to mess up your life..." Nathan gulped. "How soon can we ask the high counsel if I am the master and have it removed?"
It crossed his mind, briefly, that only his own death would remove the collar, but he didn't care. He'd barely lived the last seven years anyway.

"It would take a very long time. This collar will stay on me forever even after my master dies. If that truly is you then... I have no concerns. I have taken orders from all sorts of people. If you are unsure then give me an order. If you placed this collar on me then I will be forced to obey no matter how hard I may try to resist you."

Nathan blinked. He'd thought he had just given such an order. Taking a deep breath, he looked Yoru square in the eye.
"Fine. I order you to kiss me. On the cheek is fine, since you don't swing that way. But kiss me. Now."

Yoru hesitated naturally for a moment, but he felt the collar become tighter around his neck. He walked up to Nathan a pressed a kiss to his lips. It was brief as Yoru immediately pulled away. " When you give an order you must be more... Commanding... More dominant. If not I am forced to guess what it is that you want. I can very well read your mind and I know exactly what you want but I prefer not to have to invade your privacy like that."
Yoru placed a finger on the collar and sighed. "This makes things clear to me though. I think I understand exactly what I may be then."

Nathan shrugged and stepped closer, into Yoru's personal space. "I. Do not. Do. Rape." he whispered, voice menacing before he pulled away.
"I did not want you to do something you didn't want to. If you swung my way, I would order you to do things so I could seduce you - you are attractive, you remind me of Mao, and add those things together... it's been a long, long time since I felt any urges in that direction."
He paused and then started pacing around Yoru. "So, what are you then? Exactly?"

"His other half. I... I believe I am able to remember being told once that I was not born normally and as such I was never able to meet my mother. I believe I might have not existed at a certain time because only Mao was around. I know that for some demon children... They may be born with an illness that is not easily cured. Mao must have had that illness because the only way he could have been cured would have been to take the part of him that was infected and separate it entirely from him. If that were to have been the case it would make sense since as a child I remember always being very ill. You see... This illness does not affect one physically. It more or less attacks one's soul. I must have once been a part of Mao and now that he has died... what is left of him is returning to me. I will slowly regain all of his memories."

"Ah. Great." Nathan clapped his hands together, face falsely cheerful and tone deadly serious. "So, for starters, I order you not to try to read my mind for the next twenty-four hours. Secondly, I order you to tell me what you want me to do about all of this, assuming you are right. No lying, or I'll ask the question again."
He stepped close, hand on Yoru's chest. "I'll ask over and over, until you tell me what you want me to do. I still do not do rape, and you have said you do not want a man in any way.
If you are what you say, I will order you to leave me alone and make you kick me out - whether I want you to or not, I will be clear about that order."
The Angel stepped away and stalked to the couch, relaxing his body without allowing his expression to do the same.
"Now, Yoru. Tell me what you want me to do about our situation. If you genuinely do not know, then I want you to say so. But you must give me an idea of which direction you want me to take. Staying, or leaving."

Nathan couldn't help it: a broken giggling welled up and burst free. "********. Just. Bloody. Brilliant. I want you but can't have you - I will not rape you, and the only reason you'd ever want to have me is if you remember enough of Mao. So it would still be rape."
He hiccuped to a stop. "Fine. Go to work, Yoru, like you're supposed to. I'm going home - did you say a woman was in my bed? I'll chuck her out, change clothes and then go out myself."
Nathan stood slowly, knowing he'd have to force himself to leave.
"We clear? I do not want you dead, or raped, so I'll find someone willing and call you when you finish work - no. You call me. I'll leave my number on the table."

"Not really rape you know," Yoru said as he began to grab his things. "If you are the one who owns me then I have no objections. My purpose is to please you. My own preferences are unimportant. Besides... I have said I have never once considered being with another man. I never said I would never enjoy it. The fact is that I have no idea since the thought has never even occurred to me. I was taught that such relationships are sinful even in the eyes of demons. Learn now that I only go by what I have been taught. I never dare stray from that."

Nathan heaved a sigh. "Mao strayed from the norm, from what he was taught, and it ended with him dead."
Then something changed inside him and he moved towards Yoru with purpose. Grabbing his things from him and dropping them to the floor, the Angel yanked his Demon to him. Tired of words, he kissed Yoru hard, using tongue and teeth to nibble and lick.
Nathan's hand slowly travelled down Yoru's chest. He intended to feel for himself whether this was arousing the other man. If it wasn't he'd stop.

Once again Yoru showed no emotion. He kept his hands at his sides and allowed Nathan to touch or kiss him pretty much anywhere he wanted.
