Ari grinned as Blink was handed his prize goldfish. She nodded when he recommended finding the others. She skipped alongside him and searched through the crowd, hoping to see a familiar face.
"So, what're you going to name your fish?" she asked brightly as she spotted her brother's spiky brown mess of hair. She waved to the group he was heading to and pulled Blink along with her.

Riku frowned as Namine spoke. He had those same worries about Xion and Sora too. He'd hoped his girlfriend would have had a better idea of what would happen, but obviously she knew nothing more than he did. He grasped her shoulder firmly when she started blaming herself.
"It's not your fault," he told her. "Everything will work out fine. We'll get things right again. Together." He pulled her closer to him, shooting a glare at the still-speechless Roxas. Yes, he was dating her, if he wanted to know.

Xion listened to both Sora and Kairi talk about the flash. She had nothing to add to the conversation, so she stayed quiet. The wheel moved again, and one time when they stopped, Sora began rocking their seat. She smacked his arm and hissed "Stop it!" The ride was peaceful and didn't need a little thrill added to it. Soon the ride was over, and she was helped out of her seat by the brunette, followed by Kairi. The three then wandered through the fair grounds as Sora looked for the others. Soon, they reached a group the other two seemed to know. Xion recalled the girl from before, and of course recognized Axel. She looked around. Riku still wasn't back. Where was he?

Kairi

Princess of Heart

Kairi was soaking in the moment, never wanting it to end. But it did, of course. A second later the wheel began moving again, sending the trio down with the sun. It disappeared under the horizon and the crimsonette watched for a green flash. None came. "Oh well. Maybe next time?" the red head thought to herself. The ferris wheel went around a few more times, giving Kairi time to finish her ice cream. At one point when the ride had stopped again Sora rocked the seat. The Princess, who had been staring up and the twilit sky, was startled by the sudden movement. "Ah! Sora!" Kairi exclaimed grabbing the safety bar a moment. Xion slapped his arm and told him to stop. The brunette laughed, but didn't do it again which Kairi was glad of. She knew they wouldn't fall out, but if some how they had, the Keybearer could fly, and she couldn't.

Before the crimsonette knew it, the ride was over. Sora had jumped off first, and offered his hand to Xion and Kairi to help them out. "Thanks Sora," the Princess smiled as he helped her out. The Keyblade Master then noted that it was getting dark and that they should find the others. That way they could all watch the fireworks together. The red head nodded in agreement, "Yeah. Good idea." Year after year, as far back as Kairi could remember, they always had a spectacular fireworks display at the end of the festival. She had always watched them with Sora and Riku, except for the past two years. Now that they were back, the Princess was eager to watch it with them once again, as well as with all her other friends. Kairi followed the ravenette and the Keyblade Master as he led them through the fair. He had spotted Lakayna and Axel, waved, and hurried towards them, the girls right behind him. "Hey Lakayna! Hey Axel! How was your day?" the Princess greeted them with a grin. Kairi then spotted Ari waving at them from the crowd, pulling Blink along with her. "Ari! Blink! Hey!" The crimsonette happily waved and shouted to them. Now the only people missing were Naminé, Riku, Roxas, Hikari, and Alexander. Kairi was sure that the rest of their friends would show up soon.

We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

"That's not funny Blink," Ari hissed at him. Heartless was a horrible name. Ari knew at least that. Ari followed him back through the crowds until they ran into Axel and Lakayna, her brother and Kairi and someone else... "Hi Sora. Have fun?" she asked the two of them. Ari looked at Blink as he started to speak and continued even when he stopped and looked over at the ravenette.

Xion smiled at Axel. He wouldn't know the difference. To him, she was a new face and a new friend. She wished it was different. Lakayna smiled at her and she returned it even though they hadn't been introduced. The ravenette looked up when a boy shouted at their group. She hadn't seen him before, memory or not. He offered his hand to her and she shook it. "I'm...Xion," she whispered back.

Sora grinned as everyone caught up and started talking about their day. He noticed Xion staring at Axel uneasily for a moment. Hadn't she mentioned him before? He'd ask Riku about it later. He looked around, wondering where he could possibly be. He considered going after him, but that would probably take more time than actually waiting. The fair was huge, so he'd end up making circles if he went searching for him. He also noticed most people questioning Xion's identity, but he didn't say anything, as the raventte was already taking care of it herself.

However, one thing did catch Sora's eye. Blink and Ari were hanging out. Hmph, he hadn't really known that they were friends. So, he could guess who'd she'd been with when they'd gotten separated. He listened to his sister's question and grinned.
"It was really fun," he admitted. "We finished our Chocobo ride and got something to eat. Then Xion here joined us and we went in the spook house. Not a bad little ride. Then we watched the sunset on the ferris wheel. How about you?" He noticed that Blink had a goldfish, so he supposed the two had gone around playing games. He'd kinda wanted to do that too and win something for Kairi, but time had slipped away. At least they'd had a good time, though.

GO TO SCHOOL!?!

The struggle match went on for what felt like hours between Hikari and her mysterious opponent. Both seemed exhausted, but neither were willing to give in. To Hikari, it felt like this was no longer just a match that was merely recreational. Who was this person? Why did she feel so familiar? The sun started to set and the coordinator finally got in between the two, halting the fight. Hikari was frustrated to say the least, but the figure didn't appeared to be phased, waving her hand dismissively and jumped down from the arena and disappeared into the crowds. "Wait!" she called out, but the figure was gone. She straightened her posture and sighed. The coordinator deemed Hikari the winner, but she hardly noticed as she climbed down from the arena and returned to Alexander. "Do you want to go on another ride before meeting up with the rest of the group?" she asked. Eventually they had gotten something to eat, went on a few more rides and played a few more games. As they went through their day, mentions of a fireworks display kept coming up. She looked over at Alexander. "Alexander, what are fireworks?" she asked, wondering if he might know.

The day just flew by for Axel and Lakayna. The food was better than anything he's ever had from the Organization, the rides were a little bit crazy even for him, but being with Lakayna made up for everything. The sun set far too soon when Lakayna said that there was going to be a fireworks show and that they should meet up with the rest of the group. "Sounds good to me," he said with a smirk, eventually meeting up with them. He looked over the group, seeing that Sora, Kairi, Blink, Roxas and Xion were here and accounted for, but Riku, Namine, Hikari and Alexander had yet to check in. He folded his arms loosely. "I wonder where they are?" he asked casually, leaning against a tree.


Roxas really didn't know what to make of the situation. Why was Riku was acting like that with Namine? They weren't together, were they? No way. He and Namine had already promised that they would be together as long as Sora and Kairi were going to be together, right? He only sighed quietly and followed Riku and Namine out of the house of mirrors, only to meet up with Axel, Blink, Lakayna, and a new girl he didn't recognize. "Hey. I'm Roxas," he introduced himself to Xion, giving her a friendly smile and then looked at Namine. "So is this all of us or is there anyone else?" he asked since he didn't know who else went out with the original group.

Kairi

Princess of Heart

The Princess smiled as Lakayna waved back to them. The dragon girl then asked if there was just five of them missing. "Right," Kairi answered, "We're still waiting for Naminé, Riku, Roxas, Hikari, and Alexander." The red looked to Blink when he smiled and told the group he had won a fish. "Oh cool Blink! It's so cute!" Kairi exclaimed looking down at it. He was about to offer it to Ari, but then suddenly noticed Xion so he introduced himself. The crimsonette was glad Xion was making new friends.

Kairi turned her attention towards Ari for she had come up and asked her and Sora if they had had fun. "We had lots of fun," the Princess replied with a grin. The Keybearer then began filling his little sister in on all that he and Kairi had done after she had left. The crimsonette smiled, listened, laughed, and added little details while he did so. A moment later Kairi heard a familiar voice ask, "Everyone have fun?" She turned around and saw Riku, Naminé, and Roxas joining them. "Hey guys!" Kairi smiled to the trio, "And to answer you're question Riku, yes everyone had fun. What about you three?"

The red head noticed Xion move closer to her and Axel, and away from Riku. She had also put up her hood. The ravenette had told her and Sora that she knew Riku and Axel. But by the looks of it, Xion wasn't too comfortable around the silvernette. Kairi wondered what could have possibly happened between them. She didn't dwell on it long though as Roxas introduced himself to Xion, and then ask if that was all of them. "Almost. We're just waiting for Hikari and Alexander now," the Princess told Sora's Nobody with a smile.

((Yeah I'm a little surprised too Midnight-chan. Demyx would be fun to bring in lol ^_^ If I had time I would. I'd also bring in one of my OCs, but seeing how slow I am at posting I think it's better if I just stick with Kairi sweatdrop ))

Sora was amused to see everyone showing up, bit by bit. He heard Riku before he saw him, so he turned and smiled at his friend. He noticed how he was clinging onto Namine and vice versa, and he felt a pang of jealousy. Why was that? He then saw Roxas and the expression he'd given the two lovers as he'd passed. Oh, that was why. He knew that sometimes Kairi and Namine shared similar feeling since they were Nobody and Other, so he guessed he and Roxas shared the same kind of link. He was surprised to see his Nobody, especially since he'd had yet to say a word to him.

Sora was going to go say hi to the blonde version of himself, but he was already talking to Xion. He decided to let them be. Something inside of him told him that was the right thing to do, though he had no idea why. So he turned back to Riku with a smile.
"Today was great," he replied brightly. "Kairi and I hung out all day. And Xion came with us towards the end." He hadn't missed the way Xion had slunk from the silvernette when he'd appeared, so he decided he'd ask him about that later. Right now didn't seem like the time or place, plus he didn't want to bring it up with Namine so close at the moment.
