I know what you mean I miss out on him as well but when the universe toy line came out I got Razerclaw which is him in a different universe where he killed Megatron and was then currupted by Unicon for his war

Well believe me I could go on and on about how annoying I find somethings in the movies. In almost all of the movies they focus on the humans more than the Transformers fighting (unless it's Optimus beating up a bunch of Decepticons).
Just in characters not being portrayed right: If Megatron was KOed what would Starscream be doing? Certainly not looking for him.
In the second movie they take Megatron completely out of his normal character, as he hardly seemed evil.
Then in the third movie they kill the Decepticons so easily that it'd make you wonder how the heck the Decpticons were competent enough to be a threat to the Autobots
I'm not saying that they're not Entertaining, but once all the explosions are over and you think about everything...some things just dont add up.

I agree about the second movie and Megatron, but I gave him a break cause he was dead and at the bottom of the sea for awhile.
And the third movie was special o.0 weirdo new chick o.e
But I think the whole autobot/human relationship is what it's supposed to be about and they manage to overplay that ALL the time. They have overbearing crazy 'in charge' humans who try to boss the autobots around, and then the idiot patsy humans like in the third movies, and then the ACTUAL people that make the autobots matter, like sam and the soldiers, and all the other fun people who've ever ridden in one of the autobots.

Pretty much one of the reasons I don't dig the movies too well. I get that its in another universe and all, but still, would have loved it to be more faithful to the known continuity already established

Well like I said before, I understand that this is a alternate reality movie that doesn't stick to the continuity already in motion but still you can stay with what is known and not try to alienate the rest of the people that know the story

It's not too late so call "True Fans" think that everything besides G1 has ruined transformer. Xeku is not one of them. I will say to stay in an already set story would be good but at the same time after Best Wars my next fav is Transformers RID (which is out there since it don't really go with any other show because of story) then G1. I will say I like Megatron more as a t-rex, dragon (1 or 2 heads), tank (human or cyberton), or cyberton jet than as a gun for someone else to hold
