I could have done without him, I mean they basically confirmed all his specials are the same. I'm thinking Capcom is the next company going in on this.

I'm with you on this one. I mean what a shock that Sonic's moves are spindashes. I wonder if he loses tons of rings after getting hit once??? From the video...I can tell that they're making him cheesy as hell. Generic Rock AHOY!!!
If capcom jump ship, I think the only choice they would have is Mega Man.

They have a ton of choices, that's just the stupid one they would choose. Jill, Strider Hiryu, Viewtiful Joe, Arthur, they all have some fighting game experence, I'm not going to put down any fighting game characters for obvious reasons. I kinda doubt they'll have more than one character from a company so that bye bye to the Belmonts and Goemon.

Sure they have those choices...but think about it...Snake, and Sonic are video game ICONS. Viewtiful Joe is awesome but doesn't have the same clout to nerds as Mega Man.

I would say that Jill, Arthur, Belmonts, and Goemon are much more iconic than Snake, Jill began RE, Arthur is the apart of the single hardest game series ever made, Belmonts have fought Dracula in countless games, and Goemon has had many games, an anime, and has been around since the NES. Snake isn't as iconic, I mean look how long it took to get a sequel. Megaman in my opinion isn't who they should put, he's going to end up having a move list like Sonic, Projectiles galore. But he'll probably get in because of how well known he is.

I'm not liking the idea of Megaman being in Smash bros that much either. I'm saying that I can't see Capcom making any other choice other than Megaman. He was at his peak in poularity and quality in the NES era. I agree its going to be projectiles and nothing else. The only positive I can think of is Megaman would bring about some awesome stages.

Would be awesome to have robot masters appear and unleash attacks while you climbed up a ton of floating platforms to Wily's machine. Would be awesome to have Gutsman just toss rocks from the bacground.
