Robbie had fallen asleep leaning on the wall of the basement level. He was so tired and his legs felt terribly sore.It wasn't a long walk just more than he'd ever done in such a long time. Now that he couldn't fly of course. He climbed up using the wall as support and grabbed his spiky helmet from on the ground.A few others brushed past him heading for something, laughing to each other. Wheres the fire.Robbie put on his helmet and followed the two. Man what time is it?!

Songbird walked up to Robbie and pointed in the direction that everyone was going, "That would be the run for the chow line. It's morning, about 7am, Robbie. C'mon, let go get something to eat, before it's all gone."

The young Allen skidded --maybe just a little too much-- nearby the two when she heard the brief comment about food. She had been running around to spread the word on it, since she and her sister helped make it. The 13-year-old agreed right away from the overheard statement by Songbird. Since she'd been in the hyper and hungry mood, her own words were sped up a little above the 'average' speed.
"Yeah, we've got some 'high-metabolism' eaters, but we made enough."
She didn't quite know if it was the time to run off again or to wait for a response... so she waited for good measure.

Kesshou moseyed out of the room she had claimed and down the hall towards the kitchen. She stopped, looking at the speedster. "Got enough huh?"
Kesshou was one of those that needed a lot of food but on normal circumstances she usually just converted electricity into the nutrition she needed, making it to where she barely ate at all.

Songbird shrugged and walked on into the cafeteria, "We'll find out, won't we." The lady thunderbolt set to the task of grabbing a pair of waffles with scrambled eggs and bacon.
Nightshade was already sitting down with his mask off eating heartily. The black man was enjoying his waffles with blueberry sauce with bacon, eggs and a croissant sandwich with brie cheese and mustard. The veteran doctor turned his attention to the newcomers to the room and waved them in and pointed at the contential style breakfast table, "Come on in. There's plenty."

The assassin Professor just sat clamly under Cyclops' rebuke, as if he was addressing a child, "We did what we were told to do. We had to obey the orders. It was part of chapter. No questions asked. I just didn't understand why they would consider you a threat. I didn't see anything that would warrant my superiors in sanctioning you lot."

Kesshou walked up to the table and grabbed herself a seat. She started piling waffles and other of the food onto her plate till it was threatening to spill onto the table.
With little effort she gobbled it all down in a matter of minutes before serving herself more and licking her lips.

Penance followed behind Songbird,he was breathing very hard under his helmet. He just let it past and went to grab food,he was surely hungry. He sat down at the table staring at everyone under his helmet, glaring at the few he had just met yesterday. He took off his helmet and started to eat at the food in front of him.

Once those two headed for the kitchen, the young speedster took down the hallway- there wasn't much in the way of movement at this time, but FG was careful, just in case someone suddenly appeared from a doorway. She stopped when she heard talking from one of the cells. Immediately she remembered what Des had told her and her sister about the assassins, so she approached the door cautiously to talk specifically to the X-man.
"There's breakfast in the kitchen-"
Her voice was a little quiet, and it was clear how uncertain she was about being so close to the assassins, especially considering that they had been killing Titans.

Oracle wheeled into the cafeteria about the same time that Rogue and Superboy led the SHIELD agent down passing the assembling students and heroes. Barbara cast a quizzical expression and thumbed in the direction of where Rogue and Konner were leading the agent, "Who's the suit?"

[Enter Apex from New York City]
Harry took notice of the various, ragtag group of supers; some he recognized, others he didn't, but they all looked like Hell. He frowned, and looked to Oracle, giving her a nod in greeting. He looked to X23 and did the same; she just glared at him until he passed by.
Meanwhile, a man wearing body armor approached the wrecked Institute, and slipped in through the nearest entrance, sticking to the shadows. If he weren't trained by Deathstroke to be extremely cautious in new, enclosed spaces, he would have just walked in. But that wasn't Apex's style.
X23 caught Apex's scent, and she growled, tensing up and looking in his direction. He had the smell of smokeless gunpowder; it was faint, but there. And the pheromones he was giving off seemed... shady to her. Then again, she didn't trust anyone very much.
Apex stopped, shadows hiding him as he observed the various metahumans he had glimpsed earlier when heading into New York. They were eating, or at least getting ready. He kept utterly silent; Superboy was here, he knew, and so he attempted to keep his presence from being detected by the Kryptonian clone by slowing his heart rate, making it fainter. But there was one girl who sniffed the air, and turned in his direction, growling like a feral animal. He had seen her outside, earlier, ripping various trees to shreds with claws that came out of her hands and feet, and she seemed highly proficient in combat, based on what he had seen. What made it worse was that she was standing right next to Oracle.
Apex had studied Oracle, as he had studied the rest of the Batfamily, when Slade was training him. He knew she had been crippled by the Joker, and knew she was also a world-class hacker and information broker. That was precisely why he had come here. He needed to find someone, and she could do it, he figured. But once she figured out that he was an apprentice of Deathstroke... he would likely have to fight her in order to convince her to help him, and he didn't want to do that. She was crippled, and therefore, in his mind, was not an opponent that would be worth the effort of fighting... but he would if he had to. Besides that, a part of him had always admired her beauty, but he had never really thought about that.

Barbara Gordobn glanced to X-23 with alarm, and then looking around, "Whoa! What's going on?"
Dr. Powell slowly stood up looking in the direction that X-23 was growling, tapping his comm, "Professor, I think we have another vistor other than the suit you invited in. Checking it out."
As Nightshade pulled on his mask and fedora, Songbird stood up, forming a sound shield taking a defensive stance, "We'll back you up, Nightshade. Robbie, cover the left please; I'll cover the right."

Damn that girl, Apex thought to himself, looking to X23. He began to step out of the shadows, and then immediately backpedaled as X23 lunged across the room at him. She tackled him to the ground, but he rolled with the motion, using his leg to kick her off of him. He sprang to his feet and unholstered an MP5K submachine-gun that he had, as the Glock he had used in New York against Hit Girl was out of ammo. And he had the SMG itself aimed right for Barbara's head.
"Before any of you can make a move, I can have a single bullet put into Miss Gordon's skull. I suggest you all stand down," he said, and his tone of voice allowed the others to tell he was being truthful. However, he looked directly into Oracle's eyes, and the look he gave her told her that she was not in any actual danger; he would not hurt her.
Now that he was out in the open, however, it would be easy for her to identify the armor he wore as a variation on the design of Deathstroke's own. This was a necessary risk Apex had to take.
X23 seeing her adoptive mother in apparent danger, felt the urge to stab the man through the gut... but oddly enough, his pheromones were telling her that he wouldn't actually hurt Babs, so she relaxed.

All of a sudden, a pink transluscent 'Bugs Bunny' glove, appeared out of nowhere and plugged the muzzle of Apex's MP5. Songbird simply stated, "No thank you, I've had my fill of Spandex Wearing Fruitloops threatening to blow people away to fill a lifetime."
Nightshade got in the way, blocking Barbara from Apex with his own body, leveling his Mauser at the mercenary.

Apex was still for what seemed like a brief moment, his gaze moving from Songbird to Nightshade. His mind was doing all sorts of calculations within that span of time, and he moved faster than the eye could see, snatching the Mauser out of Nightshade's hand and pointing it at the man's face in what seemed like the same moment. His other hand, still holding the MP5K, flipped that gun up into the air, yanked the glove out of the muzzle, caught the SMG as it flipped again, and holstered it. It had taken years for Apex to get that good with his weapons... but he had done it.
"Mauser C96, manufactured from 1896 to 1937 by Mauser. An antique weapon; odd that you put a silencer on it. You could sell this on eBay for at least $20,000. I know because I bought one of my own last year for that very price," he said to Dr. Powell, his gaze never leaving Nightshade's. He flipped the Mauser over, allowing the butt of the weapon to face Nightshade so that the guy could take it back.
"I'm sorry for the abrupt entry, but I'd really like to see Miss Gordon. I have a... very personal matter that I believe she can help me with."
