Alcina glanced at the waitress once she was at the table, then back out the window. "Not quite anything." she said quietly. He didn't understand, but she really didn't want to try to explain the details. She still wasn't used to dealing with these kinds of emotions. She didn't want to deal with them. She didn't want to think about them, as difficult as it was.

"I won't push you if you don't want to talk about it. It dose help to do so." He said to Alcina. She was a hard nut to crack but he knew that she would need time and he was willing to give it to her.

Continuing the ride, Danny kept thinking. Azazel. Demon lord. Fallen angel. No soul to burn as a result. Penance Stare was going to be useless. He would have to either disgrace him in the eyes of his peers, or get one of his enemies to take advantage of the situation and attack alongside the Rider. This was NOT going to be easy.

Just then the waitress walked up and placed their plates on the table. She poured them each a cup and then walked off.

Alcina looked down at the plate and coffee a moment, and suddenly felt a bit akward. She...really had never had Earth food before. She really didn't need to eat, and what she did were more like...well you couldn't find it anymore.

Steve took a drink of his coffee and then looked at Alcina and asked, "How long have you been in the city?" He was trying to make small talk since he didn't have much going on at the moment.

Alcina looked back up at him a moment. City...oh. Just occured to her that she had no idea where she was. "Just arrived." she replied simply.

Right as Alcina was finishing the word 'arrived', Steven Strange arrived abruptly. His eyes immediately went to her, clearly going through a mental checklist to make sure she was basically alright. No apparent concussion, no broken bones... Then he saw who she was with, and relaxed completely. "Oh, good. Cap," he added quietly, nodding to Steve. His eyes flicked back to Alcina briefly, and then he looked down. "He's dead," he said quietly.

Alcina looked up at Strange once he appeared, then looked back down at the table. Her hands tensing for some reason, she wasn't sure why. Still not used to any of this. After a second or two of silence, she glanced back up at him. "Thank you." she said softly. "I..." she started, then looked back down at the table.
'I'm in your debt...' she thought to herself, knowing that he'd probably pick up on it.
And she was. He'd killed Hoshi. He'd saved her from whatever tortures Hoshi had...oh she needed to stop thinking about this.
