Wasn't I just here?

Only the slightest of whirring could be heard. Every step was quiet and calculated to land perfectly. Not that this would mean anything at the very moment. After all, the owner of these feet had no idea what the hell was about to happen.

The area he'd found himself wandering into was rather odd. One moment, there was a rather wide bridge, which Garet had taken to come to this platue, the next there was no bridge on his side. There did, however, appear to be another bridge. Garet simply assumed that his bridge collapsed. Nothing to worry about. The platue, as he noticed, was 250 feet from side to side perfectly round. "...Artificial?"

The girl appeared on Garet's radar without any sort of warning. Not a single word had been exchanged. But with heat and aura reading technology, Garet could tell so much as to see she was a hostile target. Raising his arms, the android loaded up one of the fighting styles Terran had formatted for him. His right hand was held about one foot above his left, his legs spreading so that his left foot would be pointed out forward, his right at a 90* angle to the other, held a few feet backwards. The Android simply circled to watch the girl with caution.

Garet ducked forward an inch or two, raising both of his arms above his face, left above right. His forearms opened up on the back, a steel plate sliding and expanding to cover a foot. Literally! A loud thud rang off, and Garet bent his knees to absorb the shock of it. Dirt and rocks fly up and around, clattering to the ground. A second or two later, Garet shoves back, pushing the girl back to a distance. The robot didn't currently want to attack, but he didn't know if he had much option. For the moment, he just decided to take in energy.

Garet was impressed. It was his experiance that all fighters like to leave their opponent guessing, but this girl did no such thing, presenting her attacks in the open, which actually left the opponent guessing that she was giving feints.

Which is just what happened. A loud clang as her fist passed right through Garet's defence, banging him in the right side. His fleshy covering was ripped up a bit, his metalic hull actually recieving a large dent from a natural attack. Garet was sent skidding back several feet before planting himself down with hydrolic spikes from the feet. For a second, Garet simply stood tall, looking at the girl before curling his right hand into an iron fist. Jumping up an inch or two, the backs of his calves, thighs, hips, and his shoulders popped open, engines becoming visible. Each of the eight ports shot out a great deal of blue flame, propelling him forward at a speed attainable by pretty much every supernatural fighter on Gaia.

As for his fist, Garet kept it curled and behind him until he was in punching range, in which case he outstretched his arm and sent his fist flying physically off of his wrist, ANOTHER rocket propelling it forward, hopefully to collide with the girl's face.

BAM! The ground crumbled under the wieght of his chassie, and Garet was on his back. He saw with that split second his opponent's intent, and would thwart it. For no time would Garet entertain thoughts of coming out of this without a scratch. Curling his body up some, Garet raised his shields again, which sustained the actually cracking damage, but the physical force still sent to guard into thousands of steel pieces. Quickly, Garet deployed a set of engines from his feet, sending him skidding back to his feet, a scowl on his android face.

Now, it was obvious there was no coming out of this alive, so it seemed do or die.

Garet returned to that stance, the one with his right foot out and all that. Raising his left arm forward, he stands in silence. This was another charge round, and as his previous charge was canceled, he was at 2.

Hell no.

Garet gritted his teeth, taking the kick to the head which made a resonating CLANG! Leaning back to soften that blow, he inadvertantly dodged the chop, which worked for him. Next was to decide an attack.

From a quick view, the opening was the left side while she completes the chop, but it wasn't the best option due to her speed. Instead, Garet jumped up, kicking up those thrusters from his feet until he was twenty some feet into the air. Once up there, he deployed the shoulder thrusters, coming tearing down through the sky like an atom bomb, his feet poised to kick the girl in the face. If she dodges, the ground will have a nice 17ft wide crater.

As if on cue, a portal opened some feet away from him. Out came a man in a large robe and.........high heels that a woman would wear? He looked very much human and in fact was. Being 5'6'' in height, it would soon become quite obvious to him he was much smaller than his neighbor.

The robe he wore was brown colored. Sleeves being thin, almost skin tight to the man's arms. However, the main body of the robe was not the sashed type. It was one of those hooded type robes that could completely cover one's body by just putting it on. It was also very loose versus his human body. Allowing for great freedom of movement under it.

Getting up, he brushed himself off, checked his high heels, and.....proceeded to adjust his upper chest to until it was comfortable. This man may be human, but exactly what he was would be found out soon enough.

"Well I can see that I am not in Nodeka, anymore."

Well. Whether she dodged or not wouldn't be the question here. When Garet's attack hit the ground and made the crater. Makoto was not under it. Makoto was not directly left... nor directly right of the man. Not in front, and not behind. Not directly above either.

So where was she?

"HAAA~!"

Garet would hear a loud battle cry, and when he looked in the sound's general direction he would see Makoto flying directly at him from an elevated angle with a kick. She must've pushed off the "wall" of the crater for this one. If the kick connected with him, she would immediately follow up with a right knee to the midsection then a spinning right kick.. which would predictably make him stumble back... setting him up for the finish, a straight uppercut coming from directly below his chin.
