Koori walked around with no destination in mind. By accident, she ended up standing in the same spot the mark had appeared. Quickly she turned and ran out into the garden. She couldnt deal with it. She didnt even have the faintest idea to what her powers where.

Maverick sighed. "You worry too much, Nick. You have been promoted up a rank, but sometimes our kind can be a little oblivious." He patted his back. "You have plenty of time to live and work your way up. As for Koori, i think i'm the one to blame for that." He then looked down the hallway, wishing he could get something to eat.

He saw Koori out the window in the garden on the lower floor.
He opened the window and climbed through calling out her name.

((well nick, not to burst your bubble, but i think my angel grade is about b. The grade A angels are known as Archangels and have 2 sets of wings. I plan to become Grade A soon, however.))

Koori was still in her skirt, and the wind ruffled that. Her golden hair blew all around her and she closed her eyes. For once she felt normal.
