Morbidea saw something shining. It was the moonlight hitting the blade of her dagger. She immediately grabbed it.
Better now.
She sat next to the small lake looking at the stars.
So... This is how it ends... she whispered softly.

"I thought it ended with a wooden stake to the heart?" JR asked as he took several steps closer.
Although darkly humorous, he used it as a means to lower tensions. In most cases, it worked.
"Well... looks like you and Jack seem to be having the same reaction."

JR had an odd grin.
"And if I'm right, I think the promise to Astarte was simply to Jack, not me. And as I said... you're both of having this end of the world reaction. I think Jack's still out of it."

Morbidea stood up and looked JR in his eyes.
Alex hates me because of Jack... I don't know what happened last night. Lestat told me, and Alex was there.
Morbidea then looked down and wiped her tears.

Jack pulled out a small bottle of red wine from under his coat. He shook it.
"Care for a drink? You can have it. Jack's kind of stuff. Not mine. Besides you look like you could use it."

JR looked around the area, having a feeling someone could be coming in at anytime.
"I don't know if its him or someone else trying to get in... because even I had some difficulty trying to get out. In fact... this person almost had total control... even over Jack and I."

JR growled quietly. He would let him out if he could... cause this way he and Jack could have gotten to the bottom of this as well. As far as he was concerned though, this being was Jack... but his free thought were the only thing that made JR doubt it.
"Right now, I suppose you can only talk to Jack himself... although I don't know if he's still in a stable condition."
