Gil nodded "Sounds like a fine plan, would be nice to spend some time in the hot springs after all that walking this morning anyway but I'm sure it'll be fine they can't be that bad in person" he said
Oassu nodded "Well no wonder you guys used to hate each other so much if you kept fighting each other for wood and stone, though shouldn't that mean there's a dwarf settlement not too far from Yithra?" he asked.
Jeckhart frowned "I'm sorry I don't know how beastmasters work but I'm sure they aren't all bad, after all Gilgamesh doesn't control his fiend entirely and Mari is on good terms with her little fiend friends" he said "So don't be so sad about it no one would ever try to control you" he added.
Zadina nodded knowing they'd have to say goodbye to Ardie soon "Sir Gilgamesh befriended his fiend by nursing Enkidu back to health from the verge of death and just worked to train him since then" he said to Ardie "Though were will Miss Amane be sleeping on the airship Cap'n Alpha?" he asked.

Alpha smiled having already thought that one over "Well in your room of course. You still have Jenna's bed in there and its not been used for a good time, before the rooms were refurnished so its all clean and ready for someone to sleep in. Theres no problem with the room is there?"
Amane shook her head "I have no problem sharing a room with Zadina if thats the one you have prepared for me" she told them hoping it was nearby to Hebal's room.
Hebal giggled guessing that Alpha had picked that room for a reason "All the rooms in the airship are real nice and comfy. And theres no better way to earn the trust or services of something be it fiend orperson than saving a life if thats the case, but I'm not sure of any Gilgamesh stories myself"
Ardie sighed coming to a stop "Well I suppose thats ok for Gil then but I'm still a little incertain about beast masters, I think I would need to see them first" she mumbled looking back in the opposite direction "Uhh, I think I better go here before you go into the forest or I'll get in trouble for wandering about there. You should maybe stay with me, I'll get you somce ice cream" she suggested to Yenytai.

Satoshi grinned liking the idea "Well we do have the time to go there since I doubt we will have to sit and talk to my parents for the entire day. Though do you think Enkidu would like being there? Would have to at least put Terrato somewhere safe and out of sight so nobody mistook his for a snake on the loose, theres a few poisonous ones in the wild around here.
Hayate smiled removing his gloves "Hey relax, dwarves aren't the only ones who can provide stone nowerdays. Pleanty elves produce it too and then just ship it over, Yithra is a rich enough city to do that. Plus we can get it pretty cheap from the bangaa" he explained.
Felina shrugged not having any knowledge of how the city got its materials "Well we're on good terms with them at the moment so theres no need to fuss about that one. But the nearest place not elven is a port full of humans about ten miles north of the forest. They end to leave us alone and vice versa"
"Good cause if anyone try to control Yenytai then Yenytai go kapow and put a stop to them" Yenytai told Jeckhart before letting out a loud groan at Ardie's suggestion "Yeah Yenytai guess she shouldn't follow everyone as far out as magic flying thing and I do like ice cream" she sighed hanging back a little

Gil nodded "Enkidu can just wait outside, he's loyal enough to spend time with me even when it doesn't really involve him though you'd think they'd take care of them snakes in such a public place" he said.
Oassu nodded yawning "Yeah I guess so though I didn't think the elves had any lasting relationship with the bangaa" he sighed looking out the window "Do you think we are close to Yithra now?" he asked.
Jeckhart chuckled slightly "I'm sure you would do fine no one would want to anyway but yes I'm afraid it's time to go" he said stepping forward away from Ardie and Yenytai "It's been a pleasure to meet you both" he said bowing slightly.
Zadina blushed slightly so knelt down to pet Merric to hide it "Well sure that's fine, I hope she'll like Jenna's room" he muttered quickly before getting up to see Yenytai and Ardie "Well we won't be gone for too long we'll play more when we come back if that's ok" he said happily.

Ardie sighed giving Zadina a hug "You better come back to play for at least a little while when you bring Amane home. Anyway see you later guys and have a good dragon festival, gifts appreciated" she sadly told them bowing to the rest of the party.
Amane grinned waving back at Ardie from her post on Hebal's shoulders "Don't be sad we so will come play again soon. So whats up with Jennals room that makes you uncertain I'll like it? Did she have it painted a horrible colour or pick out some weird furnature?" she asked catching onto Zadina's mumbles.
Hebal also waved fighting back a yawn "You two stay out of trouble and avoid going kapow cause being grounded at this time of year is totally uncool" she giggled watching Alpha smile and bow back at the pair of them "Hehe this is gonna be an epic magical mystery trip wiith candy everywhere" she started to sing "So Jeckhart, you seem to know a lot about stuff. Is it possible for beast masters to command/befriend demons too since they are a kinda fiend?" she suddenly changed the subject as the thought came to mind

Satoshi shrugged pulling Gil into the street "The snakes are generally taken care of but once or twice snakes do manage to slip in. A lot of the time everyone has better things to do than around the clock snake drop like missions and keeping the more deadly stuff away. None of the local snakes venom is fatal anyway"
Hayate shook his head "We don't have one, it's just business. We sell medicines and herbs and they sell things like stone. As for where we are.... well you can't be sure on these roads but it can't be all that far to go these horses aren't slackers"
Felina paused glancing out the window with Oassu "Sorry but there are very few land marks in the forest to indicate where abouts we are so will just have to lookout for the occasional sign post directing towards the city centre. They usually say how long it is estimated to reach the city"
Yenytai gasped running round the group giving each one a hug before they could disappear to far ahead "You take care and come back to play for Yenytai. And then Yenytai make yummy treats for play time when back. Yenytai a think it will be so much quieter in village without Amane about" she added with a small titter.

Gil nodded "Ok well so long as you let them know I'm sure it'll be fine, that or just leave him to snooze in the changing room locker, he certainly likes doing plenty of sleeping after all" he chuckled stepping out into the street noticing it was a bit busier than before "Looks like your village is starting to wake up now" he said as Enkidu growled at someone briefly as they almost stepped on him before Gil hushed him.
Oassu chuckled "The forest all looks the same when its just covered with snow you know? Feel sorry for all the animals and stuff in it" he said leaning back to cuddle Felina "Just need to hug and stay warm" he added with a smile.
Zadina giggled returning both Yenytai and Ardie's hugs "I'll try and bring you back a nice souvenir from the circus and hopefully Melanae will be free by then for us all to play with" he said happily before looking up to Amane "Oh it's nothing really, red wallpaper with black chocobos on it but it looks alright the bed looks comfortable which is the important thing" he said

Amane smiled surprised "Well in that case your room if you share, is all nice and chocobo friendly if it has them on the wallpaper hehe. So long as Merric doesn't try talking to them all night long because that would be really noisy and we don't wanna be all tired and blah for the day of the festival"
Alpha nodded "Yeah yeah the room was decorated for another chocobo fan but she and her pet have left the crew now which is why we have more room for other pets to come on board. Pretty good timing for you guys"
Hebal laughed watching Merric kweh feeling a little uncomfortable squished between the many hugs "Aww what noise can one little thing like him make, he's not got a pair of lungs big enough yet to wake up the airship"

Satoshi tutted at Enkidu as she shuffled past a pair of ninja blocking the path in front "Yeah the place usually takes a little while to wake up due to most ninas having to work into late hours. Though we should get a place in the hot springs should we get there before evening, for some reason thats the most popular time to go. Terrato I think is getting lazier and lazier so will have to make sure he doesn't start getting fat" she laughed.
Hayate gave Zadina a nod of Oassu "Yeah its true the forest looks all the same regardless of season unless ya know specifically what to be looking out for. It took me years and years to navigate around here"
Felina smiled returning the hug "No need to feel sorry for the animals, most are just happy hibernating for the winter. And some fiends and animals, well they hibernate in the warmer times of the year so theres always a good number of wildlife in the forest"

Gil chuckled "Yeah otherwise he'll be rather tricky to keep carrying around all day if you do that but what do you do at hot springs anyway? I've never been to one, do you like drink it or take a bath in it or something?" he asked
Oassu nodded "Guess so still think it's worse for the folks in the city than the animals right now, hope there's measures in place for the folks whose houses aren't fixed up yet" he said
Zadina giggled "I guess it is chocobo friendly though I'm not sure if he can be a noisy little chicobo or not" he said looking at Merric curiously before placing him back on the ground for a wander "He's been quiet so far but is he really noisy Amane?" he said waving goodbye to the others as they headed back to the airship

Amane paused "Usually Merric isn't all that noisy but since it will be his first time flying it might be a little bit of an experience for him. He tends to be louder when faced with the unknown" she giggled watching the little chocobo jumping through a lump of snow then kwehing surprised by the sudden low temperature.
Hebal frowned glancing down at Merric "Well I don't think he's gonna be trying that one again any time soon. But we've slept through worse even if Merric makes a load of noise. The airship can really go vroom vroom and be all noisy when landing and taking off" she assured them receiving a nod from Alpha

Satoshi couldn't help but snicker a little "Really? Basically you just take your kit off and bathe, so wouldn't recommend drinking the water you and everyone else will have been swimming in. Though if you don't wanna share or let other people see you, you can pay a little extra for a smaller but private area. Might allow Enkidu in if we did that"
Hayate shrugged "Theres emergency accomodation set up for all so nobody is out cold in the streets or in a giant hole/cave sleeping for that matter, the people will be fine. Not to mention the big pile of cash being used on compensating the victims"
Felina smiled "Yep everything is fine, it's not the first time Yithra has had such a bashing and probably won't be the last. The animals will be having the harder time having to fight eachother over the food. Will probably be trying to eat eachother since theres not exactly any small prey or plants about"

Gil grunted "Would they not allow him in otherwise?" he said frowning "Well he's a fiend so I wouldn't be comfortable leaving him alone in a village where most people carry weapons," he said blushing slightly "We don't need to take all our stuff off do we, they loan you swimming gear right?" he said knowing he'd left his one pair back on the ship "Otherwise we'll need to make a stop before we go to the place" he said.
Oassu sighed with a smile "Well they'll get by that's just nature for you so long as the poor are ok," he said scratching his chin "I hope the folks at the guild get by ok and stuff, I mean most of them left but the ones that remain hope Jenna gets them sorted out" he said shrugging "Nah she'll do fine always was the better one at taking care of folks" he said to himself.
Zadina frowned slightly worried Merric would keep them awake now before bending down to stroke Merric in an attempt to warm him up again "Well I hope he settles down tonight, I imagine the stables would be awfully cold for a lone chicobo in winter, wonder how everyone else is doing" he said as he spotted some Viera guards giving them an odd look before nodding to each other and allowing them to pass with Amane.

"He'll be fine" Alpha chuckled smiling at the viera as they passed choosing to ignore the looks they were receiving. "The airship has a heating system in place to keep it all warmed up at night which was installed by the moogles. I couls put it on tonight since we won't exactly be burning fuel"
Hebal giggled waving at the guards then pulled a face the moment she w as out of their line of sight "Oooh well thats another funky new feature you kept quiet about but don;t make it too hot for fur and feathers. And maybe with your new features I'll be able to finish that suit of armour I've been making myself"
Amane waved at the guards having to try her hardest not to burst out laughing at Hebal's facial expression "We'll just have to sing him a lullaby until he goes to sleep if need be not that I know all that many... could always just come up with something I'm sure or you could use an elven one"

Satoshi sighed patting Gil's lower arm "Enkidu could totally run rings around a lot of the residents if he wanted. But alot of people don't feel comfortable or clean when trying to relax and theres any animal splashing about around them let along a fiend. It's not personal to him. You can always buy swimming gear when there or could ust go to the nide section but I don't really fancy that" she added blushing a little hrself.
Hayate nodded "Yeah Jenna always seemed to be the better organiser out of the two of you. So give her some credit as she and Boco I bet are just fine and taking advantage of all the spending money to be used at the festival just sitting around in the wallets of others" he answered picturing her stealing from the pockets of last minute shoppers.
Felina's ears sprung up suddenly "Ooh look I know where we are, we're almost here as that way leads up the hill to the temple" she informed Oassu going back to viewing through the window "Yeah what he said, Jenna is good at looking after herself and the rest of, or whats left of the guild"
