A figure broke through the brush, face shadowed by a Sakkat. His flesh was hidden underneath what looked like heavy, gray japanese samurai robes. He made his way towards the Academy. It was a dark night, cool, clear. His chakra was hidden, only to be realized by the most advanced at Byakougan. His footsteps gave a dull thump as he stepped onto the wooden poarch. He knocked.

He removed the sakkat and looked up a bit, smiling. "Just me." He said softly. His voice wasn't nearly as deep as it used to be. It no longer had the growl, gutteral sound to it.

He smiled and returned the hug. His chakra became noticable again, but his body was no longer warm like it used to be. He pulled away a bit and looked at Nyl. "You're looking well." He said, nodding.

He smiled softly, knowingly, as if he were about to explain to a young child that 'daddy wasn't coming home.' But Nyl wasn't a young child, this was just basically the same type of announcement. "Well.." He started, then he looked back at her and smiled. "I'll tell you over a cup of tea. Deal?"

"Wouldn't want it any other way." He smiled and moved into the kitchen. There was something different about how he held himself, how he moved. He walked through the threshold to the kitchen and looked around. "It sounds strange." He said, "But I've missed it.."

He nodded some and sipped the tea. "Well.. It's rather easy to explain, but my motives might not be.." He took another sip. "It went off, left my home for reasons only I could justify to myself. At first, I thought I needed time to myself, but it grew during my ventures. I saw everything, you wouldn't believe it! Well.. I guess, being the Phoenix, you could, but what's out there is Mind Boggling! Rivers the size of oceans, waterfalls as high as mountains..!" He sighed some, then looked down. "I don't study in the Elements anymore." He said, "I gave them up. Don't get me wrong, I remember everything about them, and I'm sure I'm still a competant Ho Sensei. I just can't use Ho anymore." He blinked some, then took another sip of his tea.

He nodded softly. "Yes, Nyl. All the Elements." He snapped his fingers, and chakra shot up, then exploded into air. "No Ho, no Rai, no Ijutsu.." He sighed and leaned back in his chair. "Don't worry though. Non-Elemental jutsu's I'm still perfectly capable of performing.. And truely, I'm not really sure what it was.."

He smiled back at her. "Thank you.." He finished his tea. "I do, however, train in Taijutsu, now. I think I've become very good, actually." He nodded some.
