I have an interesting question that's kinda been hankering me for awhile. So far I have not found one real answer but I take to people's opinions just fine.
What, in your own opinion, does a doppelganger look like in their true form?
Or better yet, do they HAVE a true form?

By the books they look like your stereotypical aliens, except tall and lanky. I personally believe that they lost their true form eons ago and the textbook form is just the closest they can get after assuming so many other identities...
