Wallace blinked, his large dinnerplate eyes focusing on Lois in the awkward pause that occurred after she spoke. "So...want to go spy on their date?" He knew Lois was nosy, and Wallace was just as nosy. Plus, they both had something in common - two non-superheros who had saved the school at one point or another.

Not that he had taken the credit for it.

Teddy continued to chow down through Lois' rant and the ensuing pause, wiping his mouth with a paper towel. He was going to protest on behalf of Linda and Clark, but decided it was best not to. Wallace was going to do whatever he wanted. "So...how've you been?" he asked, peering over at Billy.

Querl returned to his living quarters following another disappointing meeting with Professor Richards. His requests for equipment to build a new time machine were going...frustratingly. It was like someone trying to build a Corvette in Viking times. Or so Richards kept telling him.

With a sigh, Querl noticed the destroyed door and gathering of fellow students in his dorm. He looked at his desk and a little red blinking light on it.

"Ah. I see the security measure has been tripped. Repeatedly."

Querl pulled out his notebook and began writing up on Chris Powell.

Subject shows marked inability to learn future outcome from previous occurances. Is this a result of continuous blunt head trauma as some of the students here assure me?

"Hey Querl." She said quickly to the busy boy at the desk, then returned to Cassie.

"I'm not sure, he's always been really private. Maybe one of us should go talk to him... Cassie, you tried, let Chris give it a go. They have a special relationship. It may work."

Somehow she felt that wouldn't help Cassie get her mind off of things... Maybe a girls day out would.

"Cassie, we haven't spent too much time together, why don't we some fun tomorrow. Just the two of us."

She also thought it would give them time to work on Chris's party too.

Lois finished up her sandwich and looked over at Wallace

"I don't really care about their date, but I don't really have anything else to do and it's always good to keep the investigative skills sharp. You understand.. but I still don't actually care."

"Sure you don't, Lois." Billy smiled and was rewarded with a swift and none-too-discreet elbow in the arm by Kate. Billy gripped his arm in the spot and turned to frown at his best gal pal but she just took a sip of Coke as if nothing had happened.

Billy then turned to Teddy and said,
"Been okay. Kinda quiet in the dorm now that my roomie got moved out. Jennifer and Mister Hellstrom are really riding everyone hard to study for final magical exams. How about you?"

Cassie looked at Chris and kind of rolled her eyes..

"I told you to just that it was better just to leave that stuff alone..."

She then looked over at Dani.

" I guess you're right Dani. A girl's day out sounds like fun. Maybe Chris can spend some time with Wally or Achilles or Querl tomorrow?"

Really, Cassie didn't get what Chris's problem was with Querl anyways. Sure the kid was a little weird, but who wasn't at this school?

"I haven't seen Wally around all that much. I'm sure he'd love to hang with the guys."

She looks at Brainy, still jotting stuff down... That boy needs to get out.

"And Querl, you rally should go with them! Too much homework will make you boring. And who knows you may even get a chance to talk to a girl."

With Wally being all about the 'lay-days' and Chris being the one with the most experience, and Achilles the best at relationships, they were sure to help the little guy out.

*Chris scowled at Cassie's admonishing him. He wasn't a five year old. And that kid wasn't wring secret notes on her so what did she care. Hmph. He'd get a look at them somehow, yes he would. But for now, he had bigger fish to fry.*

I dunno. I have some stuff I gotta get done tomorrow. But you two should have fun.

*First of all, he had to track down the weak link in the chain and find out if there was a surprise party. Second, he wanted to talk to Achilles...alone. Cassie had a bad habit of thinking she was the expert in certain things(all things Greek, pannies, dancing games...) and would be pissed if Chris went against what she decided. The problem was that Cassie decided how the Achilles situation would be resolved without even talking to Achilles! That was crazy.*

Wally is probably chasing that reporter girl. I should help him hook up with her.

Wallace got up, brushing the crumbs off of his pants. "Well," he said, "I'm not really sure where they are, but we should check Blackhawks first. Usually people go there for dates, right?" He wouldn't really know since dates with Hartley were generally to more exotic locations like jazz bars or pet stores for weird ratty things. "Let me text Hartley too. He's useful." For things.

Wallace pulled out his cell phone, shooting him a quick text, Just finish him off already. I want to make out and meddle in other people's business.

Teddy dipped a french fry in ketchup, then ate it. "I...I'm doing really well actually." And it was true. He'd joined a sports team, he worked out often, his dorm room gave him a place to escape when he needed it, and his academics had improved tremendously. "We should hang out more often then," he said when Billy mentioned that things had been quiet for him.

Karen sat at Zinda's Blackhawks searching though the menu, she was hungry as she only eat what little those dumb blonds had to offer earlier that day, and since they had some kinda weird body convulsions and tossed their goods all over each other. She was sure it was just their way of some weird foreplay... clearly those three girls were into each other.

But that didn't help her food issue, and her dad had already sent her allowance and she just had to have those new boots she saw at the mall and now shed spent all her money on over priced boots that were so totally cute and water proof since she's spent a lot of time in the lake and her old boots had caught fire for reasons she couldn't explain.

"But I'm hungry!" She whined to Zinda and told her her story, but Zinda just wasn't having any of it.

"Sorry sailor, you can't pay or work for your meal then you aint all that hungry. Move it or lose it kiddo, I got a business to run!"

"Aww!! But-But-But!!" Karen complained as Zinda ushered her out of the restaurant.

"What the hell am I Going to do now??!" She yelled into the air. "I need food. Now if only there was some way I could get some idiot to buy me some..."

Back at her dorm she noticed that Karen hadn't come back yet. Figures, the one time she actually wanted to blonde's advice she wasn't at the dorm. Though it was surprising Karen didn't get buried underneath all the clothes and stuff on her side of the room. Karen and Linda's side of the dorm were like night and day, Linda's side was always kept neat, immaculately so, Karen's.... looked like a tornado went through it. Linda sighed, where could her roommate be?

She knew Karen wasn't with her boyfriend seeing as how he was in a galaxy far, far, away...Which meant she was either at the mall or Blackhawks. Linda found Karen yelling about being hungry outside of Blackhawks and sighed... Karen was in many ways Linda's total opposite, but still she was a friend, and at least she could talk to her without her bringing up Superboy every five minutes unlike Lois. Linda grabbed Karen's arm..

" Come on... I'll buy you some food. Besides I kinda need your advice.?"

"YES!! Food!" Karen quickly rushed back inside and slipped back into the same exact seat she was in only moments ago.

"Zinda! 2 Belly buster! Large Fries, and Extra pickles! Thanks!!" Karen just yelled her order across the room not even waiting for her to come to the table. "Don't skimp on the ketchup!"

Then she leans across the table smiles brightly and asks.

"Oh you didn't want anything did you?" Thumbs back to Zinda. "Cause I'm really into this advice you're needing in exchange to food."

Linda looked up at Zinda..and smiled gently. She wasn't a loud mouth like Karen but nodded slowly towards Zinda as Karen ordered.

' I'll just have a small strawberry milkshake'

Milkshakes... Linda's vice. The one reason the beautiful dark haired reporter could not stand to go on a diet. Diet's meant no milkshakes... it was just a good thing the exercise program she had with Castle kept her in good shape.

" See, it's like this. I got this totally awesome opportunity to go to this school in New York next year. I told Clark who's like freaking out on me and then later on I told my mentor... who brought up the whole thingy with my ex-boyfriend and threatened that I might end up like Wayne."

The food then came, Linda watched quietly as Karen dug in, the girl could eat. Linda drank her milkshake as it was a bit quiet simply because she was shocked at seeing someone consume so much food at once. Linda then cleared her throat.

"Anyways to try and prove him wrong I actually agreed to go on a date with Bobby 'the playboy' Drake. Of course, it's not like I really want to go..."

Linda rolled her eyes slightly, even at the mention of Drake

"Anyways, I'm not turning into Wayne cause I'm completely anti-social, refuse to date, and think the worst of humanity....Am I?"

The last person Linda wanted to be like was Bruce Wayne.... the man was always so dark and brooding... it was annoying to say the least.
