amaeli I am a fan of Selene as well, ken. PVC is a marvelous material. the scene in the first movie where she slices the head of Victor is so beautiful, I've watched it a couple dozen times.

The Underworld series is one of my favorites, especially since its one of the few that has attempted to show what a vampire/werewolf hybrid would look like, etc. 3nodding

craftymama I concure with Amaeli... I doubt the vamps in Twilight are on the sames level as Alucard. Then again you have to remember Alucard is from a different time and place/reality, has different abilities, and is a much older vampire than the others. Although, personally I'd be happy to snuggle up and/or be the "pet" (as Camwen said) of either Edward or Alucard, lol. They both give me shivers. rofl There's a difference between being a grown person and choosing to be someone's pet wink xd -- or having no choice in the matter. Has anyone seen the new HBO series True Blood? Or read the books it's based on?

If he didn't care for them why would he listen to them at all and not just rip them to shreds? Camwen I agree there is definitely a difference between being a grown person and choosing to be someone's pet or having no choice in the matter. Most have no choice but Bella is like 'just ******** bite me already you a**!' lol. I think she has an inner strength that will develop as the story progresses and she gets a tad older/more mature. 17 year olds aren't the deepest people I'll admit but she has the potential to be a very intense character later on.

My mother board maybe going poop on me. My screen will turn off and stuff still plays in the background. I know its not the graphics card.... or it maybe that but doubt it. But if it is... hope my friend has a one laying around lol!

It sounds like she gets more backbone as the series progresses.

I read a little about the book too, but I have already spent too much to buy something for my self again. lol I have a very expensive habit of Gaming. xd I want to get it when I can though, is it good? I don't get HBO either but I have a friend who records them for me xd It's an interesting premise. A formula was developed to replace blood for medical reasons - but as it turns out this "tru blood" also provides all the necessary "nutrients" for vampires to subsist on. So many vampires decide to "come out of the closet" and live among humans. Of course not everyone is happy about it. lol Anyway - that's the setting. The plot itself is more murder mystery/soap opera ish.
