Yeah, probably. Well, a good (read: functional) computer shouldn't run you too much at least. I usually end up scrapping old computer parts together, with the exception of the computer I use now. If you know someone who builds computers or works on them often, I'm sure you could get them to make you something decent for not too much.
I just got tired of finding my roommate's porn on my computer when I would come home.

My dad does that. I just want to try out something new. I've never had a laptop (or a new and properly funct computer, for that matter), and I don't mind blowing some cash on it as I can use it for my art aswell as schoolwork next fall. I just need a good working dock.

Laptops are nice, but I find myself getting annoyed with them for stupid reasons. Not being able to easily open them up and put new gear in is one, and not having a mouse annoys me. (Yeah, I know you can get mice for them, but they're tiny and don't suit me). I do like the little touchpads though.
And yeah, there is something about having something new that is nice. I think I hugged my computer for a week when I first got it because it had that "New thing" smell.

I know I should be mainly focusing on art-stuffs. Which should be making me sway in the direction of a mac.. but.. ick. xd
No, we shall see. Maybe I'll just start with buying an apartment, and then getting a computer that fits into it.

Yeah, I don't really like Macs, but they seem to do well if thats what you need.
I suppose thats the natural way of doing things, since you'll have to think about one before the other.

*sigh* yeah, yeah. The "Plan". I generally don't stick to plans. Chaos is more my style! Or lack there of. Lack of anything much, really. Except maybe impulse.
Man, this whole year has been just.. ******** up.

This whole year so far, or including 2006? Because so far it's been okay, not great. However...
And eh, no one sticks to plans. They're there to make you think you're organized, so you can dismiss them halfway through.

Meh, the beginning of 2007 has just been really.. weird. There is just manic swinging between really great times and terrible times. 2006 was quite okay.
And plans are sort of like traffic laws then, they're up there to look good but not that many people actually so as they say.

It's not been happy for me, but not really overly bad either. Just mediocre leaning towards the sucky side.
And, well, yeah. You basically have: starting point, end point, and something in the middle. You make it sound good, but everyone knows it won't go like it should.

Mehh, I just need something to look forward to, so I can take my mind off things, and university next fall might be the answer. I need to apply soon, too. And I have no idea as to how I should go about doing that. confused

My guess would be to look online to see if they have a website, and see if they have anything about it on there. Or call their office.
I should find somewhere to take an apprenticeship or something.

As long as I don't end up like my mom (bitter and loving it) I don't care. I wanna try going to university because none of my closest relatives have. Few of them even have a college degree. So meh, I don't even know what I'm going to study. It's just so that i can make myself believe I'm making progress. neutral
Edit; so, when I think about it, having a job that I wouldn't forthright hate, or being in a "healthy" relationship might have the same effect anyhow. At the moment it's going back to school that sounds the easiest.

I hate doing things without a point, which is why I never wanted to go. I can't think of anything in particular I would want to do, or that I'm even good at for that matter.
Seems kind of interesting at least, and you could always take classes on whatever seems interesting to fill up time.

Yeah, I'm thinking more on the lines of "well, it may be pointless, but a cereal BA degree looks good on an application".
Plus, the social life is something to look forward to, if I understand correctly. cool

Yeah, better than nothing at least. And being able to have a decent social life is always nice.
Man, why the hell am I so tired?
