the books I have I started reading when I was in elementary and we just never got rid of them

@pickle you sound just like me xd I take FOREVER to get through a book I don't like

Yeah. There was this one book I read, only about 190 pages long...
horrible plot, horrible character development, grammar mistakes everwhere, and it could probably have been read by a fourth grader. And yet it was meant for teens.
I did finish it, suprisingly. It only took me about three days. Mostly because I kept finding other things to do.
Edit: You should. 3nodding

LOL you always find things to distract you when you're reading a book that doesn't hold your interests, for me its usually music or a really good television show xd even if I've already seen/heard it a million times

yeah...i remember in the library when i got 2 books: The Bomb in the Basement and The Pretty Committee Strikes Back i started reading the Bomb in the Basement but it was pretty dull...i mean it talked about the Great Depression and all but i just had the urge to read the Pretty Commite Strikes Back which, obviously is on a lower level, well not too low... arrow but neway...i read books on all levels...

Especially 1ce when i went to the hospital for my sister and i was sitting in the kid's waiting room...i was so vitally bored that i actually bothered to take one of the children's books....and to my surprise...it was interesting!!!!! yeah....awkward...

I thnk a book about the Great Depression would be fun.
I love some of the children's books I used to have. Like "Where the Wild Things Are," and "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs"...
I was just talking about this with Jimmy and Lin a couple days ago. xD

A book about the Great Depression would probably be sad though... for some reason Of Mice and Men just popped into my head ><

Probably. I love Of Mice and Men, though, no matter how sad it is.
I first read it in fourth grade. And then we had to read it again this year.
