Sanzoskitsune exactly whatagirl, my family is big on the whole "don't spend more than you have to" thing. If we only have to buy one book we will only buy one book and in this case, since I'm the one who wants to read it so much, it falls on me to buy it it depends on how fast of a reader you are Reiku, I'm a pretty fast reader and can fly through a book if it really interests me My family does the same thing, Sanzo. Except my mother usually buys it. And then the reading order goes by age... And since I'm the fastest reader, it annoys the crap out of me, because I have to wait a month to read it.

The Twilight Zone's alright... I dunno never got into that show myself I think I enjoy series that have standing characters and not ones where they are telling you a different story every episode

I think I'd kill something if I had to wait an entire month >< all the books in my house actually belong to me, either bought by me or bought FOR me so I get to take them when I move out xd

I can usually fly thorough a book in less than a day if it's interesting, otherwise it'll take me months. I'm lucky that my mom and dad are pretty fast readers if they read constantly.

So I get to take them when I move out. Oh, have you ever read the Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury?

@Reiku you beat your dad! we'll be cheering for you *waves little flag*
@ pickle ah no I haven't... I've been such a bad reader lately. I think its gotta do with my mom starting to be all "you need to read more difficult books for a higher level" That's when she started making me read Dante and Herman Hesse is that book good though?
@whatagirl only half? xd I've read like 90% of the books in my house, the other 10% are either encyclopedias, dictionaries or in Spanish and reading in Spanish annoys me sometimes cause it takes me longer

Most of the books in this place are textbooks and dictionaries in French. xp I usually just borrow books from the library.

Well, my mother reads for about half an hour a day after work, so she doesn't go very fast. And I can fly through a 100 page book in an hour or two, as long as it is interesting.

You start in the first chapter with one set of characters, who all get killed, and then you move on to some others...but it all connects, so its kinda cool. I've read pretty much every book in my house that isn't an encyclopedia or a self-help book. Even the lower-level stuff, just because they're amusing. I need to find the Dark is Rising, though. I want to read it again before the movie comes out in theatres.
