*Chris returned with his chicken tenders but stood behind his chair. He was well out of Dani's reach. He slowly placed a dipped tender in his mouth while staring at Dani.*
Oh yea...I'm watching you, sister. I am watching you.
*He slowly continued to eat his chicken.*

Subject shows intense territorial tendencies when it comes to food.
Querl scribbled another note in his notebook. He paused, turned to a new page and wrote himself a reminder note.
Find out why everyone keeps calling me 'Brainy.' Possible Cross-cultural confusion? Has my ancestor already become known on this planet? And if so, why are there no planet-wide defenses in place?
Querl turned his unerring attention back to Powell's behavior to continue taking notes.

Lois sat in her favorite spot,under the best tree on campus. She looked down at her book. Science was so boring. She'd read that same paragraph 4 times and still couldn't tell you what she just read. She sighed and pulled out her other notebook, looking over the notes for her next story, flipping past pages of hearts and random superboy doodles until she got to the right page. She frowned. Not even her notes seemed interesting.
"I can't wait until I get to the big city where there are REAL stories.."
she muttered to herself

"Sorry Chris, I was really hungry. And one this you never do is starve a dancer, we are like while animals. By the way my favorite dip is ranch... y'know... case you're feeling generous."
She smiled innocently at him, then turns to Cassie as she returns.
"So Cassie, what's up with Achilles? He feeling alright."

Cassie looked over at Dani and shrugged...
" Beats me. It doesn't seem like he wants to talk about it... he said something about having a lot on his mind because of the end of the school year coming.."
Cassie yawned slightly and leaned on Chris's shoulder.

He probably doesn't want to go back in time. Couldn't you ask your Dad to let him hang for the summer?
*Chris glanced at his watch. It was evening and maybe he could get Cassie back to his room for alone time. Hmm...but how to ditch the green kid? Chris was sure that the Dox would want to follow him and take notes.
Chris could ditch him easy enough with his stealth armor but Cassie had no invisibility powers. Hmm...

Ah! Chris whispered quietly to Cassie.*
Meet me in my room in ten minutes...alone. We can come up with an Achilles plan and then I'll let you take advantage of me.
*Chris stood up.*
Well...off to the library! See ya, guys.
*Chris ditched his tray and headed out of the building. His slid into his stealth armor and disappeared from sight.*

Cassie paused a moment..
" Go back...?"
Then it dawned on her, of course Achilles was going to have to go back... back to Troy. That means he's going to.... Tears rolled down the blonde girl's cheek, she knew it was coming but this was the first time she thought about it. Achilles was going to die. Cassie had never been close to any of her other siblings... only Achilles, he's the one who showed her what it truly meant to have a big brother... and now... Now she was going to lose him. It was more then him leaving, he was leaving to die. Cassie's face was one of shock and confusion. As Chris just left her there, sitting in the cafeteria...in tears.

"Cassie? Cassie.. What is it?"
She moved to the seat next to her and held her in a hug.
"What's the matter? Dose it have to do with Achilles? Or Chris...? What are you crying?"
Dani was so confused, all of a sudden chicken tenders and birthday parties was the farthest form her mind.

Cassie was quiet a moment and then hugged Dani, she hugged her tightly...
"I...I can't talk... not here.."
Cassie's tears fell on Danielle's shoulders a bit. Cassie knew that if she never fell in love with Chris then she would've probably fallen in love with Dani. Cassie wiped her face a bit..
" I... I gotta go"
Cassie got up and left, headed for Mysia's stable. When Cassie couldn't turn to anyone else, she would turn to Mysia.. Of course the elephant would be leaving soon too...

"C-Cassie.. wait..." Dani reach out to her upset friend, trying to stop her and pull her back into an embrace, but Cassie was too fast, and soon she'd left.
Frowning she looked to Querl.
"Hey your the boy genius, mind explaing what the hell just happened?" She thought maybe the little alien boy had figured out what was going on so she could help her friends.

"Time travel. It makes everything infinitely more complicated." Querl snapped his notebook shut. With his subject gone, there was no need to continue taking notes. "Pretend you're from the future, and you've traveled back in time. Everyone you talk to, from your point of view...they're dead. They're history that you're watching take place before your eyes."
"Now, take the oily, greatly inflated male, Achilles. He's been pulled from the past to interact with people from his future. And will have to be sent back to his own time to preserve all of history." Frankly, Querl thought it was wildly irresponsible they let Achilles travel to the future to attend school in the first place. He'd inspected the 'magical' portal that they'd pulled Achilles through and had been disgusted at its chaotic design. It could only interact with the past, not the future...not an option to send him back to his own time.
"It's probably hard for the primitive minds of 2012 to overcome emotional attachments and accept that he has to leave. But," Querl shrugged. "That is life, and that is history. To change it is to doom an entire timeline."

*Chris arrived back in his room and "gahed" very loudly. It was a mess! Cassie would be disgusted and that made alone time not fun. He quickly began gathering up dirty socks and other clothing from his side of the room to make is "girl appealing."
The OTHER side of the room. was spotless. Dox kept everything immaculate. As Chris started shoving things into his closet, he began to wonder exactly what a kid from the future would keep in his room. Chris started the vacuum up and kept glancing at Dox's desk. What was in there? Future tech? FUTURE VIDEO GAMES?*
Sweeeeeeet....
*Chris shut down the vacuum and approached Dox's desk. Why wouldn't he share his games? Nah...he was so nerdy that he probably didn't have any. Chris started to turn away when he thought of something.
Maybe notes on Chris were in there. WHAT DID THEY SAY!? He had to know! Chris grabbed one of the drawers and ZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP! A burst of energy sent Chris across the room. He hit in the wall and fell on to his bed. Chris bounced off the bed and landed on the floor...hard.*
O-ow.
*Chris laid there in pain, not even realizing that ten minutes had passed and that Cassie was late.*

She got up and left trying to find either Cassie or Chris. Or Achilles!
She called over her shoulder.

*CRAASSH!!*
With one swift and very powerful punch Chris and Quel's door came flying off the hinges exploding inward, red eye's blazing Karen came rushing forward.
"Powell!! Are you alright?! Talk to me Chris!"
Down on one knee she shook Powell a little. Clearly worried about his safety but not letting on.
"Yo Dweeb wake up! Or I'll plant one right on your lips!"

Inside Mysia stable Cassie had cleaned and feed the elephant and then hugged her..
" Oh Mysia. I'm going to miss both you and Achilles so much."
The elephant then wrapped her trunk around Cassie in a hug. Mysia was as much family as Achilles was to the blonde girl. Soon she fell asleep in the stable on top of some hay.
