auS-e-Dude Eggness And I'm glad that your iPod still works, but sadly you're the exception, not the rule. A lot of the time it doesn't actually break; the battery craps out on you. This isn't actually the problem. The problem is it costs an assload to get a battery installed by Apple. That's if you're an idiot to let the battery run all the way out. the reason they give you a charger that only works for a computer is because you need a computer for an Ipod to be useful. So if you want a plug in charger so bad go buy an I-home. (predicting here)

Meta_Fish Lifeless-Fox Meta_Fish Wait, so you put them on your iPod for free, but to download them as mp3s to your computer you pay? No, the program is free, but if you WANT TO buy songs off iTunes, if you can't find it to downlaod somewhere else, you can pay like 99cents for a song. Or just downlaod it and put it on for free. I was always confused by that. Still, I don't see why everyone shits for iPods. my new baby

What the ******** is stupid, holy shat.
Kay, Lucas is right about the cost thing at the moment, cause they stopped selling 80Gs, which were $160 before they took 'em off the shelves, I saw like, 8 at bestbuy for that price. So now its a big jump, from 16G, to 160G. I wanted an 80G too. Lamme.

I don't mean to be a d**k, but I really hate Apple for making an inferior product, and getting away with it because it looks sexy. It mostly pisses me off because pretty much only Apple, and Zune (Microsoft?) can make mp3 players with assloads of memory (40-80 gigs). I never really saw why you would need that much memory anyway....
I just come from a town of douche bag hipsters who think it's cool to have an iPod, and Mac Book and s**t.
Just shop around, and do your research before you buy an mp3 player. Don't just go DERRRRR iPod!!!!
I'm really happy with my Sansa e250. It cost around $100 a couple of years ago. It has only 2g, but I don't have use for much more, and I have a 2g microSD card. It plays videos (which the iPod of the same size didn't, and it also cost around $150, I don't know if this is still the case). It has radio (which I admittedly don't really use). And a microphone which comes in handy for someone like me who is a college student (record lectures), and a musician (record song ideas).
EDIT: Also it's really reliable, and the charge is just as good as it was the day I got it (more or less).

When I'm home, I use my speakers, and iTunes, where my hoard of music it.

Yeah, I agree with you that it's stupid that iPod just generally the MP3 player to go for, just because its the "cool" thing to have. I like it because for what I use it for, it works the best (And you're wrong, all iPods have video now, actually.) And for what you use your MP3 for, it works well, I wouldn't use a mic, but thats just me. It just depends on what someone generally does. And a 4G iPod nano is like $120 now, actually

Allegro Lord of Armageddon I have to ask... Does anyone remember this game? (In case the picture decides to hate my post, the game is "The Dig" by Lucasarts, came out in 1995.) good game, one of the more underrated Lucasarts point and clicks. I agree, it is underrated. For some reason, critics just loooove to b***h about how "serious" the story is. I actually liked the story. And the music is ******** epic. I adored this game when I was a kid.

I really like iTunes. I got it before I had an iPod. And I only got an iPod because it was a graduation present.
But yea, iTunes is awesome, it lets me put The Megas podcasts on my iPod. ;D

It's funny that iPods couldn't find the CD cover for it...yet one of the songs has the CD cover on my iPod, lol.
