Gil shrugged "It's more like a scarf than a cloak though I suppose I can see why you'd think that but it's important because it can do this" he said pushing a hidden button causing a variety of scabbards and sheaths to fan out from underneath the cloak like wings ready to be drawn. "Pretty cool huh?" he said pushing a button causing the sheaths to fold back underneath the clothes.

Oassu shrugged "Well we need places to live too can't just wander forever though it's a shame your country was broken up so much but it must've been massive before this if human settlements broke it up, I mean there's colonies near Agralia and everything" he said as the carriage stop came into sight.

Zadina nodded "Yep I think I am and yes I'll get Miss Seph to help teach me to take care of him" he said to Alpha and Yenytai "Also yeah this is Mr Jeckhart he took care of me when I was really unwell sometime he's really nice" he explained to Amane "Though it would be awesome to have little Merric he seemed really fun last time plus he's super cute" he added to Melanae

Jeckhart grimaced briefly at the mention of 'cool angelic people' before shaking his head and forcing a smile again "You could say that, right now I'm just sticking around to protect the group and keep an eye on them all" he said

Satoshi let out a low whistle after having jumped back in surprise "Yeah it's really something. Just remind me not to touch it in case I accidentally kill us both with pressing the wrong button or something" she remarked hopping out of her seat "So shall we go outside and have a better wander around this place. I'll even do teleporting as I'm too lazy to use the stairs again"

Felina smiled waving to Hayate who was up ahead standing next to a carriage that was to be pulled by a set of four large black horses "I guess that one is going to be our ride into Yithra. It wasn't Agralia that broke that bit up. Elves sort of migrated there after losing forests only to be kicked out again a few thousand years later. Our original homeland is now where the bangaa capital city is but that area had been long abandoned before they moved there"

Yenytai smiled standing still in front of Hebal "Yenytai think village is ok. Many villagers don't seem to like Yenytai and aren't overly friendly but village food taste delicious. Yenytai also thinks viera have too many silly little habbits and behaviours too" she informed her with a small snicker.

Alpha nodded his head "Ok got it, little Merric will be all yours in no time, I'm guessing she's back at Xyleenas. Now that we've found Amane we can go back there now and get him and your friends are welcome to come with us. As for why he hasn't sold it could just be everyone is saving their money or don't have the room to look after a fully grown chocobo" he suggested.

"I'm grounded so can't go with you guys. My parents are likely to be home for dinner too" Melanae mumbled knowing it was best not to risk sneaking out to see the chocobo "So you guys will just have to have fun without me and have extra fun to make up for me not being there"

Ardie shook her head "It's not that it's a bad sword he gave me, it's just no matter how good the sword is, the other one I'm gonna get has been in the family for generations and I would feel really bad if I didn't at least carry it around as a spare.

Amane smiled partly ditracted by a passing butterfly "Thats good to know because watching us that closely would be a little weird along with when we're all asleep in our beds. But does that mean you go adventuring and can you spout angel wings or something to get about or-"

Hebal frowned pulling Amane into a tight hug also cutting her off mid sentence before mouthing a brief apology to Jeckhart "Now now leave the guy alone with the questions for now silly. You get the point your in good hands though you should have known that already" she giggled letting go of her "Well on the other hand some viera might say you nymphs have funny little habbits too"

Gil frowned taking a moment to readjust "Yeah it was the handiwork of Atomog the protege of Tarin the man who made my current armour, so it's a pretty nifty thing. I could also attach it to my regular armour if I ever wanted to carry another 6 swords for easy access" he said watching as Enkidu sniffed around a bit "Still lets work our way around to that district so we can get some good food for lunch" he said.

Oassu nodded to Hayate "You almost sound disappointed to see us, but why are centaurs bad? I thought they were just the stuff of myths and legends but even in them you could always talk with them, they weren't like just fiends" he said.

Zadina nodded "You're right Yenytai but it's just a culture thing, some specific people gather food and share it with everyone, however for fairness purposes people trade those shiny things for the food" he tried to explain "Still yes lets get going, it wouldn't do to be seen by Melanae's parents when we are just leaving" he said turning to Melanae "Remember to open your present come the dragon festival, I'll come back and visit when we return" he promised Melanae holding his own present carefully.

Jeckhart smiled nervously a lump forming in his throat at Amane's words knowing she didn't mean harm "Erm well some of my superiors do, maybe you'll see them sometime wings are a special gift in our clan" he mumbled turning away "Still we should be going, don't want to keep Mrs Atano waiting on us, plus I'm sure your eager to get away Amane" he said

Satoshi smiled "Yep thats what I was thinking since you mentioned wanting food in my kitchen earlier though why would you want twice as many swords as you have arms?" she asked a little confused while they walked through the small dark alley "There we go the edge of the food area, all the buildings on the rest of this street going left are resturants or takeaways. And I bet Tarin will get a lot of people asking them to make similar armour to yours for a motherlode of gil"

Hayate shook his head "Well I was just enjoying sitting here having a small nap before. But nope they aren't myths. But I suppose it is fair to call them legends. Centuars you see are a funny bunch and you're never sure of what kind of things are on their minds. Some are more friendly than others anyway"

"It's the not knowing why they are around that worries dad becuse obviously its not our problem to deal with at the moment and hopeflly it will just be a baunch of centurars just passing through" Felina yanwed leaning against the side "Personally I could never nap standing up, its way too uncomfortable for my liking" she quitly mumbled after having given it some thought.

"They are half man and half beast and it is best to remember that when talking to them for many believe that centuars are always in constant battle with themselves, their human part and their beast part. Which is one explination as to why although a good portion of centuars are perfectly happy and good company, there are some heards that are more savage than you would expect" added the voice of a woman from around the other side of the cart. "Nice to see you again Princess, I'll be your driver for the next few hours" she greeted them with a bow as she walked around the side of the carriage.

Yenytai hesitated scratching her neck in thought "Ohh... I think I get it so shiny shtuff is a tool to get stuff people are no good at getting by themselves. But then Yenytai doesn't get why viera all so serious all the time. Surely viera can use shiny things to buy more toys and games as they work so much they are bound to have left over stuff"

Hebal gave Melanae a wave before she turned and lead the group away from the house "Yep but thats something you get into the habit of saying without being told hehe. And you never know, if your lucky some of the performers might let you have a go with their stuff... I've always wanted to try that high wire act myself while on a unicycle"

Amane simply nodded having no idea what Hebal was talking about act wise "I suppose you would be pretty good at anything ivolving heights and wearing a pretty costume to go with the act. So have you ever been to a circus Jeckhart? I didn't really know what one was until earlier which is partly why I think I'm also a little nervous"

Alpha smirked privately agreeing that most viera were in fact too serious "The problem is as you get older you get more responsibilities so you've gotta work hard to look after other people like friends and family before going for the toys and stuff. Bet your mummy didn't have much time for playing when she had you as a child Yenytai"

Ardie nodded "Yeah theres too many temples unless you do non stop all the time travel but we could always take a longer pilgrimage them your uncle so we do get to see all the nicer parts of the world at least. Can leave the temples in the horrible places if need be"

Gil nodded "I should hope so though I'm comfortable with my armour for now," he said wandering over the bridge "You certainly have a beautiful village with all this greenery and pretty weather" he said pausing to take in the sights.

Oassu nodded shaking Nares hand feeling happy he wasn't as short as she imagined "Well Elorin is close to a giant so naturally he'd think I'm tiny" he said "Pleasure to meet you Nares" he said following Felina to the stairs "So are you our escort to the city?" he asked.

Zadina smiled "Sounds like fun glad to see you've inherited her sense of fun, maybe the friendly fiends are all just of the same lineage" he pondered briefly "And it's up to Amane what temples we visit, once she's a summoner she'll be our boss" he said.

Jeckhart shook his head "No I've never attended a circus Amane so it'll be a new experience for both of us but I have it o good authority that they are very fun for children" he said

Satoshi smiled staying still a moment longer for Gil to look "It's not so green in winter but thats just nature for you, it also gives you lots of good hiding places at this time of year. Anyway are you hungry now? If so, have a sniff around and see if theres any smell that catches your interest" she told him looking at the flashy resturant lights that never seemed to turn off even in the middle of the day

Hayate laughed shaking his head "Theres taller elves than Elorin out there, seen some go as tall as eight feet. Now thats gigantic" he told Oassu pushing the door open "Since Elorin didn't know the specific time of our arrival I highly doubt he provided us with an escourt with such short notice"

Nares shook her head "Nope I'm not your escourt, more a convenient traveller you can freeload a ride to Yithra with. But there is a story to why I'm here. Yep I've been in Mineerin lately but its the dragon festival and so I came home to spend time with the parents. Then I show up and find half the palace staff pulling their hair out over missing festival fireworks so ended up being pushed into making the journey here to have a go at the people who messed up the delivery and pick them all up. They are all in the cargo now so no smoking not that you should be anyway. They insisted I took a carriage here, probably because they didn't want me to get the zu out again despite them being a faster method of transport" she complained climbing up onto the front of the carriage.

"She has a bit of a reputation for capturing dangerous fiends in attempt to fully tame them. You can imagine why some people aren't comfortable with fiends like behemoths in their towns and cities" Felina whispered to Oassu taking a step back allowig the door to swing right open.

Yenytai frowned shaking her head "umm... Well you see Yenytai's momma gone bye bye now. She got really old and slow and eventually was eaten by a mean fiend but Yenytai got revenge later so you no worry. Yenytai's dad was apparently a mean nymph who got angry lots and picked fights with anything so Yenytai no think we all the same" she muttered a little uncertain.
