Gil nodded "Was sooner than I thought but it's not a question of could I have swam or not, this armour is too heavy to swim in I'd sink like a brick and I wouldn't leave it behind" he explained while he petted Enkidu to sit down beside him as a passing Ninja gave them both a curious look.
Oassu shrugged "We were poor, couldn't hire a professional chef, he was just the thief with the most kitchen experience" he said carrying his garments over to the counter to pay for them "Couldn't be picky really"
Jeckhart grunted "I am not used to running like this, normally I would just fly if I had to move quickly" he muttered grudgingly as he eventually caught up with Hebal "There's nothing to stop you buying toys and gadgets nowadays Hebal" he said.
Zadina frowned "I wonder why he got exiled but I'm sure he is valuable being a doctor, I'm not sure anywhere in a Viera village is good for that level of training and education" he said knowing what the Viera school system was like "And sorry Ardie but it's relatively advanced white magic I'm not sure you could learn it without proper training as a white mage" he said sadly patting her shoulder.

Hebal smiled ushering everyone out of the garden and back into the street
"I guess so but I never really play with them the same as younger viera do, I think they just have the more awesome imaginations then us grown ups. Though don't be so grumpy Jeckhart, all this moving about is good exercise and will keep you in nice shape. And that means you can jump higher too" she added thinking that her jumps were like flying in a way.
Alpha grunted finally realising that his float spell had worn off despite that having happened a little while ago "You'll get your wings back soon enough, Kimino is an efficient worker when he wants to be. And your lucky really as my wings are so small in relation to my body that they only allow short distence flight"
Amane scratched her head "I don't know, our village only knows medicine in terms of herbs and white magic really. Maybe different villages have a different schooling system or have better book merchants with that sort of topic" she suggested "Though our school I think is perfectly fine just the way it is
Melanae shook her head "No no sneaking is very bad, if unlucky you might have to sneak out the window and climb down all the vines. It's not a nice feeling thinking your gonna get in trouble" she told Yenytai coming away from her lookout post "
Ardie groaned disappointed "Aww thats a shame and there was me thinking white magic was just a bunch of boring heal spells and the odd barrier. I would rather do black magic if I could all the same since its better overall"

Satoshi snickered at the ninja's reaction before pulling Gil inside to the courtyard. "Just don't do anything silly like getting yourself killed by notwanting to leave the armour should the highly unlikely event of you sinking into deep water were to occur. Theres all kinds of magic that can be used and some jutsu too that could raise things from water" she almost lectured him as she began her climb to the top floor.
Felina smiled slinging the clothes and shoes onto the counter a little glad Oassu couldn't see the price of the clothes onto the til due to it being displayed in runes. "In that case, you and I are going to learn to cook once married. That way we can make whatever we fancy all by ourselves and whenever we want it. Thats one of many activities" she laughed.
Yenytai leaned over the side of the window investigating the vines "Yenytai could so manage that. Yenytai good at climbing as it keeps smaller predators away that only good at running. Yenytai only think she knows the feeling you mean. It's feeeeear!"

Gil nodded following her up the stairs "Well I won't be wearing my armour for the most of this trip so don't you worry about that, not that I'm especially fond of deep water anyway" he said "Still nice to know you have jutsu in case of folk falling in deep" he said nodding to a mognet moogle who was following them up the stairs.
Oassu glanced at the clothes briefly before wandering idly through the store while Felina paid for the items "I guess so, will need to take up a bunch of hobbies probably once we settle down to keep us interested seeing how we're used to so much adventure" he grinned.
Zadina snickered at Yenytai's pronunciation "Yeah we'd get in a lot of trouble if we were caught I might need to use the invisibility spell if it came down to it" he said "Though both lores are equally good, white magic can do some destructive things, mostly against spirits but white magic also covers the few surgery spells allowing me to reach around inside you and shuffle up stuff without breaking the skin" he muttered quietly not thinking it was really polite magic. "Then you get time magic which is modern and new and different I can't do that stuff unfortunately" he said "Though yeah your school is fine it was fun the day I got to go there" he added to Amane.
Jeckhart frowned "I can jump well enough it is necessary for my fighting style though admittedly I had my wings to help me before" he muttered sullenly following Hebal down the street.

Hebal smiled stopping briefly to get her bearings "Well in thatcase I'll ust have to teach you two how to jump better without wings as jumping, is one of the few things that I'm really really good at. Now the park is... this way I believe and its a shame we dont have time to play there as it has some really good swings that go really high"
Alpha shook his head "No thanks I'm too heavy for high jumping and not flexible enouth for anything else you might try regardless of forms" he mumbled with yawn resisting the temptation of disappear for a brief nap.
Amane nodded with a small grin "Yep you went into our school on one of the more fundays when not having to sit at a desk the whole time. On other days of the week we sit at a fesk all day learning about maths and are made to read over some of the most boring books ever for literature" she told him unable to rememer any of the book titles.
Ardie shuddered a little not liking the sound of the last type of spell Zadina hd mentioned "Maybe so but white mages cant make fire or freeze things or make little mini earth quakes. Way less risky magic to use offensively and the magic overall seems a lot more fun" she decided.
Melanae laughed quietly at Yenytai "Not exactly fear, more of an adrenaline rush I: suppose.I dunno, do nymphs even have that sort of thing inside them. I'm not much of a risk taking person all the same so lets just be extra careful. Though do that many fiends try to hunt numphs? I didn't think you had many predators in the forest"

Satoshi smiled privately hoping the moogle would be visiting her apartment so she had the excuse to hand her a kupo nut "Good but all the same don't take any dumb risks, even with jutsu it takes longer if your with heavy stuff, so you go out first, we get armour second if it were to happen ok" she concluded passing the first floor in no time "I know the climb isn't ideal but since I'm away a lot I basically just went for the cheapest property I could find not crawling in rats and the like"
Felina snickered happily handing over the pile of gil required for the items "You never know, we might be glad for a little while of not having much to do as at times adventuring can be rather stressful don't you think. But no need to make all plans for settling down just yet when theres at least 1500 years to go" she grinned taking the bags over to Oassu once finished.
Yenytai almost stared at Melanae "Umm Yenytai no know what you mean with rushies and addrenythingy that you said. But theres pleanty things in forest happy to snack on anything with meat on be it unicorn or Yenytai so gotta be good at avoiding them"

Gil grunted having to tuck his arms in in the small corridor on the stairwell "Relax I'm not some invalid who can't handle a couple of stairs I'm just eager to see what your apartment is like, should be nice to see it for the first time" he said.
Oassu nodded taking the bags from Felina "Right then I'm going to go get changed into my clothes to keep me warm outside" he said taking the bag with his clothes in it "Still we'll see will give us a chance to look at new ways to have fun" he said kissing Felina's ear before moving to the changing rooms.
Jeckhart shook his head "It's alright I don't need jump training, I'm hoping I'll have my wings back soon enough anyway, though I wouldn't have thought you'd have had long to play with the swings here before the Dark Association kidnapped you Hebal?" he said surprised.
Zadina sighed "Maths I don't really know much of, I know elven runes and global currency but not much else I hope I won't need to learn anymore" he said kneeling down to pet Yenytai "Well I'm glad your ok in the wild Yenytai need to keep you nice and safe," he said scratching his chin thinking about making an enchantment to protect Yenytai

Hebal shook her head "I can't remember a thing from my village from before that happened. The only reason I know where I came from is because they had it on file in the offices I snuck into when growing up. I tried playing with the swings when settling down for a while here and needed something to do while my shop and house were being built" she explained.
Alpha snickered quietly "Well done you being sneaky enough to find out, I known that it probably wasn't easy for you since your no ninja like Oassu or Satoshi" he told her thinking that she would have been too loud to be any good at all when it came to sneaking about.
Amane paused reaching for a book lying just under the bed that she recognised reading in school "Maths has very few uses in the world nowerdays. If you can count and understand both time and money then you'll do fine in the world" she concluded waving the book in his face "There you go, one of the books we read in school, Titan and the Beanstalk"
Ardie jumped up taking the book from Amane and flicked through the pages "This book isn't bad, I like this part of the story the most because it has an awesome picture. It's where titan first wakes up to see the hero taking his golden chocobo amongst other things"
Melanae scratched her thinking of a good way to explain "Adrenaline is basically what your body makes which tells you to run way really really fast when danger is coming. Probably whats meant you've been able to live so well in the forest despite its dangers for you" she told Yenytai hoping secretly she would learn something from it.

Satoshi smirked taking a deep breath after finally reaching their floor "I didn't say that but it does sometimes leave you a little out of breath unless going up annoyingly slowly" she answered glancing down over the railings at the plants which had been placed at the centre of the square below "See it's a bit of a climb but anyway, this one here is mine" she stated having guided him around to the opposite side while she spoke "Wipe your feet on the mat as best you can as wooden floor can be really difficult to clean" she added taking him inside
Felina laughed "Well I can think of all kind of ways to have new fun that don't require a lot of effort but also since we're good for money we have no restrictons" she pondered taking a seat outside the fitting rooms.
Yenytai stared blankly at Melanae for a long time "Nope, that still sounds like feeear to Yenytai" she shrugged skipping around the room waving her unicorn through the air "Yenytai seen chocobo before. Chocobo was white not gold silly"

Gil nodded signalling for the moogle to follow him as it carried a number of long parcels behind it while he wiped his feet on the mat "So not a bad place you have here" he said stepping inside with Enkidu who instantly rushed in to sniff his new surroundings.
Oassu nodded getting changed "Sure you'll need to fill me in all what you have in mind when we've settled in. What do you think we'll be doing for the rest of today anyway?" he asked.
Zadina smiled "I remember than one too also read one about cactuars and adamantoises those were great little stories" he said happily wiggling his ears "Though it's nice you got to see a white chocobo Yenytai, they are supposed to be really friendly and have healing abilities" he said.
Jeckhart nodded "well so long as you had fun and were ok" he said "Still where abouts is Melanae's house since Amane isn't at the park?" he asked looking around.

Hebal paused jumping to the top of the slide for a better view "Nope she's totally not here so Melane's house is that way!" she instructed pointing west as she slid back down to the ground "So we go there, it's kinda a shame since that slide is pretty fun to use as is the roundabout. Next time I'll go on it for sure" she remarked skipping off back into the houses.
Alpha chuckled thinking to himself that he would probably get stuck if he were to test out the slide "Well when we take Amane home again from the festival we can take the time out to play in the park. Her included obviously" he suggested following her.
Ardie grinned flicking through the pages until she came to one with a picture of the chocobo on "Well you see chocobos come in all kinds of different colours depending on where you live but gold ones are so rare that they are really valuble creatures" she explained.
Amane rubbed her ear certain she had heared of the other title "The adamantoise and the cactuar... I think I've read a couple of them, one was about racing and the other one was about trying to escape an evil monster than lived in their river that tried to eat cactuar for supper. That one was the best"
Melanae sighed concluding that Yenytai just wouldn't understand what she was trying to tell her "Never mind then, fear it is I guess" she muttered sitting down on the bed "Your lucky just to see a white chocobo considering most chocobos are a sort of light yellow colour"

Satoshi smiled taking Terrato safely out her bag before slinging it down on her small couch "Could be a much better place but make yourself at home if you can find room to do so" she told him shoving all her randomly placed paintings up against one of the walls soon followed by one or two partially clothes manneqins. "Can I help you at all sir" she asked only just noticing that the moogle had followed them inside.
Felina paused not entirely sure "Well obviously we travel there and say hi to my parents but other than that, the day is ours to do as we please as far as I know. Anything in particular you might want to do when back in Yithra be it shopping or the whole tourist guide to the city?"
Yenytai spun around her attention only just being grabbed by the book "Maybe Yenytai learn to read book sometime. That way Yenytai can find out story and tell others about story and talk about it. But Yenytai no think will be good at reading" she told them flicking the pages wanting to see more.

The moogle nodded politely "Yes Ma'am I have a delivery for Sir Gilgamesh from Goug" he said as Gilgamesh turned around "You have perfect timing as always thank you Hina" he said taking the large long package from Hina "Been hoping these would arrive in time thanks a bunch" he said laying it down on the couch "Here's a tip for your efforts" he said taking some gil out of his armour to give to Hina.
Oassu shrugged "Maybe get reacquainted with the city, I mean I know reparations will still be going on but just look around the palace temple and stuff to get reorientated" he said.
Zadina giggled "You don't need to learn to read I'm sure if you asked Melanae would read you and Milly a story or two" he said to Yenytai "Though I never read all those books they sound kinda mean later on" he mumbled to Amane "Doesn't your mother have two little chicobo's though Amane?" he asked
Jeckhart nodded ignoring the odd looks they received from some of the children nearby "Certainly, this is your home can spend as much time as you like here plus Alpha is the one with the airship therefore I presume he will decide when to pick the others up, can take our time" he said

Amane nodded "Yep though one of them got sold. Mum is struggling to find anyone wanting to buy Merric, thats the blue one and she's starting to worry he's gonna start getting too attatched to us if nobody comes forward soon" she explained with a small sigh. "It's kinda sad really since he's very cuddle and good at gift giving"
Melane smiled ruffling Yenytai's hair "Sure I'll read to you but if you really want I can try teaching you to read, but only if you really want to and aren't going to get bored and give up midway through like the last few thing we tried teaching you" she told the nymph recalling their failed attempts to teach her table manners.
"All the books had a happy ending in so weren't that mean. And the later ones were a lot more epic than the first adamantoise and cactuar stories. I'm sure Melanae wouldn't mind you borrowing one of her books" Ardie answered pointing to her friends bookshelf full of the stories.
"Not too long mind you, they won't like being kept waiting too long I'm sure, Seph is especially impatient" Alpha snickered "Long enough for you to have fun anyway and we can always leave a little earlier if need be to spend more time here upon return"
Hebal smiled turning them into another street "We shall see, if Amane has mega fun at the circus then I would rather she got a much time as possible there playing. Besides, I know my home isn't exactly making you feel... comfortable" she added to Jeckhart

Satoshi smiled wishing she had at least one kupo nut left that she could have given to Hina "Thanks for the delivery, it's a little surprising to see a moogle in this village" she remarked eyeing the boxes with great curiousity "So then Gil whats all that or is it meant to be a secret. I better not be keeping safe anything naughty" she joked.
Felina nodded "Sure we can do that, and the best part if thats what you want to do is the temple didn't take any damage and the palace was the first place to be fully rebuilt as it wasn't hit too badly either. Just a little bit of damage from where the dragon attacked."
Yenytai shrugged giving her hair a good shake "Table manners boring, thought it would make me fit in better with people but Yenytai realised it had no real value for anything, just people being picky about silly stuff" she defended herself pulling one of the books off the shelf. "Yenytai thinks reading may be worth it with pretty pictures like these
