Alright I just had the best weekend of my life. I went to this military training camp that is supposed to prepare us for basic. Like we do classes on information we need to know, and if we do things wrong we get in trouble and have to do pushups of flutter kicks or something like that. I made a lot of new friends, I got in trouble 5 times, but only had to do pushups 3 times. It was my first time so they were easy. The 3 times I did have to push though is because one of the Cadre (The people in charge) walked in and I didn't say "At ease" And stand at Parade rest when I saw them. Another time that they didn't make me push for was when I was talking to a Sargeant and I wasn't standing at Parade rest. Instead of making me do pushups another sargeant asked what I was doing wrong, had me fix it, and then told me everything I was doing wrong on my running. THe other time was this afternoon in a class. Mele is my squad leader and he is strict about the no laughing piece. He's also really short, and he sent 2 of the guys to ask another guy what time they should start cleaning. When they got back they reported that he had said to start cleaning the little Lepracon. That's what he called Mele. I busted out laughing, and it wasn't quiet, it was really loud. Mele looked at me, and then at the 2 messengers and said "Start Pushing." I got down to do pushups when he said never mind, lets just get to cleaning so we can get out of here earlier. Oh, it was so much fun. I also got invited to go back next month. Oh, and I'm really happy because I took 2 and a half minutes off my time for the 2 mile run. Though I still failed it because I didn't get it in under 18 minutes and 48 seconds. I'm improving though, and that's all I want.

@ Gerp:
eek I want to be you. That place looks amazing! personally I think I would like to study in France. As an artist I want to visits the Louvre, in France and I want to take classes on the boarders between France and Italy. You can take a weekend and drive down into Florence, or Venice and see the different light, and the architecture, sculptures and paintings. Not to mention the food. I would just avoid the snails, and other strange eats they have. xd I'm happy you are getting this option. I hope you have computer access or we might not hear from you for quite sometime. sad But if it's what you really want and it furthers your prospects in knowledge and life, then I'm all for it. And if you happen to meet the really Harry Potter, steal his wand and post photos of it here. xd We can tease the Gryffindors!
@ Lily
I glad you did so well. I would have died. I burst out laughing at something someone said to me yesterday, I fidget because of ADD, and I really don't like people invading my personal space and yelling at me. I get that enough. I respect you being able to do that. And woot for your improvement in the 2 mile. Keep at it you'll get there. 3nodding I'm rooting for you.

To Gerp, that does look fun, and it would be so much fun to try. I'm here in the college dorms, and it's the closest I'll get. So I guess I'll just stay here the next few years and learn how to legally scare 6 year olds since my major is Elementary Ed and my minor is Military. But really, we will have to tease the Gryffindores a lot. mrgreen
To Katie, I had a lot of fun, and I don't mind doing pushups for things I do wrong. They don't yell, they just laugh and tell you to drop. The stupid sargeant that was yelling at me for my running techniques is from the Marines. I'm doing the National Guard, and the National Guard is all about service. That means we help each other all the time. Like if one of us got in trouble this weekend they would usually pick someone to be a battle buddy and do pushups with them if it was just one person. If it was a group they didn't worry about it. I remember one kid did something to make Mele mad and was doing pushups. I was just standing there when another guy looked at him and Mele was like "If you're that intriqued why don't you get down and join him." The other guy replied with "I was just going to do that Cadet." I realized real fast I had better get some distance between them and me. Beatty (Another cadre) just laughed and was like "Just slowly sneak away." I nodded and replied "I was thinking the same thing Cadet.

I want to got there so bad but it's going to cost a lot of money. I think it says that it does have WI-FI there but I won't be going until my sophmore year in college at least and I am senior in highschool right now. I am totally excited for it though!!!
Lily, congrats on improving your time. I think what your doing is awesome because I can't sit still either and if I find something, I can't help but laugh. Good Job!!!!!!

Thanks gerp, I'm really happy because it just shows how much running every day is helping because here I see all these people do better than me, and they only do it once a week. I lost it laughing once. Cadet Mele was my squad leader and he is the strict one on not laughing. Well he's about 5 foot 1 or so and Cadet Kelder calls him a lepracaun. Mele told two guys to go ask Kelder when he wanted us to start cleaning and when they got back they said "Cadet Kelder says to start cleaning the little lepracaun." I lost it. I started laughing so hard it wasn't funny. Mele looked at me, looked at the two messengers and just told us to start pushing. I got down to do pushups when he said "Just kidding. Start cleaning so we can get out of here." I was thankful.

xd At the leprechaun comment! That is funny. I am glad they don't yell at you. Really don't like when people do that.
Also, Grep if you really want it. You'll find away to do it. That is the one thing we humans are good at. If we set a goal and really want it, we work towards it to no end and if with all that work come some luck we can do the most amazing things. My dad became a nurse when everyone told him he wasn't smart enough, I learned to draw and found friends when I felt talentless and not worth being alive, and I believe you can spend your 2nd year of college in England. 3nodding

Exactly gerp. I thought I was the most out of shape thing on the earth that had no cordination skills, and ow I'm running 2 miles in under 20 minutes trying for 18 flat and enjoying the hell out of it. You can so do it. No matter what, you just need to believe in yourself.
Alright so after my last class I bumped into my friend Andrew. He asked where I was headed and I said home. He asked if I wanted a ride home even though I lived across the street from campus and he knew that's where I lived. I just laughed and said yeah because it gave us a chance to talk. I also talked to Michael today and he was talking to this girl named Abbey. Well Abbey was telling us about this guy she likes that kissed her, and then asked if Michael and I were together. We both responded with no we are just friends, and then Michael said he had to be careful on what he said to me because he liked me.

Thanks for the encouragement guys!!!!!!!!!!! I really appreciate it! I have a little bit of money saved up in a savings account and I am going to keep adding to you. I have will have to be a little more strict on what I buy, just like I did when I was saving up to go to Germany. The only thing that I am afraid of is missing my family because the first week in Germany I would cry myself to sleep because I would think of how long it would be until I saw them again. I eventually got over it, but I didn't like the feeling ya know? The other thing I am afraid of is the flight over there. I hate flying overseas. But I will try!!!!
Also, I wanted to remind everyone that you guys should go vote in the fanfiction contest for I am entered in it!! (Not saying you have to vote for me, but ya know, if my fanfiction happens to catch your eye, I would mind a vote or two!!! haha Also we could the points!)

Hey everybody, I made an image for Halloween. I wanted to know if you would like me to post it on the front page as part of the greeting into the forum. Also. I know what you mean Gerp. When people say 'Oh I'm home sick.' They have no idea. I literal get home SICK. If I leave my home for more then three days, I get stomach aches, I get hot, though I don't have fever, I don't have an appetite, and I get really sleepy. By day five away from home it's gone, but it happens every time I leave home. It's strange.

That is totally cool Katie. I love it. As for getting homesick I don't really. I spent a year away from my family when I moved half way across the country to live with an aunt. When I see my family I start to feel lonely after they leave, but only for a day or two.

I literally get homesick too. I'm sooo close to my mom that whenever I go someplace even if I'm with other family members, I cry myself to sleep, or whenever I know I'm alone pretty much haha. I also get physically sick too and am usually in a lot worse pain. But I've always been like this. I'm a real homebody neutral
And, oh Katie. That Halloween image. Now that I know he's playing Edward Cullen from Twilight he's so much more attractive whee Also, when I first seen your picture I thought "Do you really think they'll let us put up a picture from Twlight?" then realized that he was in Harry Potter lol redface
Gerp, that college looks amazing but I don't think I could ever have the courage for something that far away from home. Plus, I doubt I could ever afford it haha. I've always wanted to go to England and Ireland {I have lot's of Irish relatives also} but it just costs so much. So I let my Irish relatives visit me, with their lovely accents razz
Edit - Hey, any of you who haven't entered into the Halloween event should! Also the Trick or Treat because you have the chance of getting someone to send you an item you want! We need points!

xd I was worried that image looked to much like the Hulk. xd Never thought about the twilight problem. As for entering the contests, I entered the Banner Contest, the Invitation Contest and Posted in the Great Hall. I will do the trick or treating after I save up some more gold. I have the Dueling Club raffle to do. Oh yeah
HEY HUFFLEPUFF'S ! I need more spells for the Spell of The Week. So if you have any good ones floating around in your head, go to the Dueling Club, enter the Grimoire(sp?) Thread and post your spell, for a VERY GOOD chance to win house points. No one in the other houses seems to enter. I may have to post a thread to advertise for the other houses.
