"Change her name...?" Atem looked a bit alarmed. "I am not a horrible person! You just have a very narrow-one sided view on my actions. Both you and Bakura." Since this girl was with Bakura, she must be like him. "You are only angry with me because he has killed many of my people and I feel that it's needed for me to punish those who break the laws."
The pharaoh's companions approached and Seto slipped off of his horse. "My lord... is everything okay?"

"teh sure.You ruin peoples lifes everyday and your just to blind to see it." Seeing bakura was gone she droped the child and gently pushed her to get her walking.

Mkhait hesitated, looking fearfully at Priest Seto. She burst into tears and ran over to Rei, hugging her leg. "Don' wanna!"

"I dont blame you sweetheart.." she scooped up Mkhait seeming much nicer that before "Would you like to stay with me hunny?" she asked in a kind,soothing voice.

Mkhait nodded her head, and a hurt look passed over Atem's face as he exclaimed softly at his daughter's decision.

Rei gently nuzzled Mkhait. "Your such a sweetheart Ya know what?" she said and kissed her nose.She then started to walk back twards the house near the oasis.She knew bakura wouldent be there and the pharoh wouldent hurt her,with his child in her arms. "I wont let the scary men get you I promice."

"P-papa..." Mkhait stuttered, looking at her father. Atem looked towards the ground, depressed, and Mkhait sniffled.

Rei had to think for a moment.Sighing at how soft she was she walked right up to atem ignoring the priests and everyone else.As she stood right infront o him she looked down "Mkhait Who do youwant to go with your papa or me?" she asked.She would let the child choose.

Mkhait looked from Atem to Rei, and then reached out for Atem. She hugged him tightly around his neck, but then clung to Rei. "Bye-bye, Papa..."

Rei couldent help but smiled and patted atem on the head "Bye-Bye." she said and turned to walk away.

Atem glared after her, and had to wipe his eyes, brimming with tears. Mkhait seemed happier, and giggled slightly.

Rei paid attation to Mkhait now "I can teach you more things.I know alot of nursry ryhmes!" she said with a smile.She liked this child.
